This is a great property - it's funky, centrally located and has friendly staff. My only real gripe - after two stays there - is the parking situation. The spaces are just too narrow. The lot is routinely packed so trying to get in or out of your vehicle is a frustrating task (if you care about your doors or anyone else's).

The entire hotel, inside and out, is painted in bright and colourful colours which instantly bring a sense of cheerfulness to anyone visiting. The room (also brightly coloured) had all the amenities we needed although it was on the small side, the bathroom could be a bit cleaner, and the walls were quite thin. Parking was free, which was great, but the spaces can be a very tight fit. We loved the free hot drinks station in reception and the shared guest amenities (hot tub, games room, etc.) looked really cool although we didn't have the time to try any of those. We also loved the small touches like the Archie magazine left in the room.

Fun, friendly and convenient! For those luxury travelers, it’s NOT the Hyatt. But instead a friendly, refreshing blast from the past. The hotel was originally opened in 1965 and was probably a Super 8 or some type of motor inn. The staff has revamped it to be a fun place to stay. They have free bikes and roller skates to use, a game room with a Ping Pong table, PS 3 and tons of board games. Pool, hot tub. No dining on site but tons of restaurants and bars within a few feet. Stay here, you’ll love it.

This is a great place to stay! Very clean, very cool, free bikes, and ping-pong and a pool, our only gripe is that the rooftop patio is only open till 10 and not well lit. It should be open later on weekends. An additional fireplace up there would be great.

Great hotel with plenty of amenities for guests! I loved the hot tub, ping pong lounge, patio, free bicycle rentals, unlimited coffee, and the BBQ area. We really enjoyed our 5-day stay. The only downside was the extremely slow Wi-Fi, the slowest I’ve experienced during any stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient experience. Highly recommend it for both friends and family!

Funky, cool looking hotel from the outside. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower great. I did not use the pool or hot tub on this visit. Close to eating options and the beautiful lakefront which is a huge bonus. My only negatives were that the TV did not work although I really only wanted it the morning of my departure. And the rooms are a bit small. I don't love the hotel door directly to outside. Very cool, funky hotel and has great amenities. The biggest bonus to this hotel is how accessible it is to downtown!

The theme and decor of the hotel was very cool. However, it was not a quiet area. Current construction sites around the corner. The A/C / heating unit in the room made a loud squealing noise every time it kicked in approx every 5-10 mins. The shower also made a loud noise when running. Overall not a horrible experience, however it could have been better.

Great location. It's starting to be a little run-down, but overall it's great for the price. The gentleman who helped us check in was fantastic and very accommodating. I would say that the rest of our interactions with the front desk were poor...many staff sitting around, or in animated conversations in the back office while one person at the front desk fielded phone calls and all customer service; getting assistance at the front desk after our initial check-in took WAY too long. Great pool and great spot though.

Excellent location right across from City Park and a block away from restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this hotel for convenience, ease of parking, security. Staff were helpful and always available!

Fun, friendly and convenient! For those luxury travelers, it’s NOT the Hyatt. But instead a friendly, refreshing blast from the past. The hotel was originally opened in 1965 and was probably a Super 8 or some type of motor inn. The staff has revamped it to be a fun place to stay. They have free bikes and roller skates to use, a game room with a Ping Pong table, PS 3 and tons of board games. Pool, hot tub. No dining on site but tons of restaurants and bars within a few feet. Stay here, you’ll love it.

Really cool place in walking distance to the beach, shops, and food options. Free coffee in the lobby was nice, and lots of cool stuff in the gift shop. Staff were super kind and helpful, room was nice and clean. Furniture seemed a little bit older and slightly weathered, but the bed was comfy and the shower worked well. Really cool lounging spots, and pool/hot tub was nice. Had a great stay! :)

Alfombras sucias, baño sucio, baño es tan pequeño que si te sientas en el wc no habré la puerta y pegas con la pared, además me pico algo y quedaron mis piernas llenas de ronchas, una semana después sigo con comezones, te venden el hotel con fotos buenas pero es terribles además se escucha el ruido de las habitaciones de alado, llegue por 3 noches y solo me quedé la primera, terrible hotel, mejor ve la Doble Tress by Marriott esta excelente, nuevo con 2 meses abierto.

As a dog friendly hotel this place was pretty great. We got a ground floor room, which is always nice with a dog. The property itself has no green space at all but with a huge park across the street and an actual off leash dog park twenty feet away it's hard to beat. The city dog park doesn't have poop bags, so bring your own. It also didn't have available water. It's small but great to have so close by. The hotel is clean, bright, and has a great rooftop terrace. We did have a herd of tiny elephants (kids) in the room above us, and couldn't use the hot tub bc it was commandeered for a game of marco polo all night, but otherwise we had a great stay. Nice town. Also, the seafood place two doors away has a fully covered patio with glass walls, great food and a perfect spot for dinner out with the dogs even in rough weather.

They have bikes to use around the city and a pool and hot tub, which were both clean. The rooms are a little stuffy and need to be aired out by keeping the bathroom exhaust and AC running at all times, but otherwise it was good.
