The Sun Hall hotel is excellently situated for sight seeing (bus terminal about 5 mins from hotel for info and rover ticket passes or buses stop up from hotel). Right across thd road from a sandy beach. The pool area at the hotel is licated down 5 steps so if you need so not accessible for wheelchair users (something the hotel could remedy by providing a ramp) but then the pool is accessed by "ladder type" steps. The buffet breakfast is very nice & the staff very helpful. Of a lunch time or evening there's plenty of lovely restaurants & bars all along finakodes, into the town itself & around into mackenzie beach to get a true flavour of Cyprus.

Excellent clean hotel with wonderful breakfast. Even standard rooms have slippers. Free parking is nearby. It is unexpectedly very convenient.. If you want to have an open window and see view, it may be noisy in the evenings. Be aware of mosquitoes or some other biting bugs. Better not to have an open window in the evening and the light switched on.

Just spent 4 nights at this superb hotel - one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the concierge was lovely. The hotel room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Towels changed every day, room cleaned, water and coffe replenished and the bedding changed after two days. The facilities are good and I can recommed the massage, well worth the money. The food was great, plenty of choice again lovely staff. The hotel is on the beach front and across from the marina. Lovely walks and near to bus stop to visit other places. Fab staff, fab hotel and will definitely be back.

Only 10 minutes drive from Larnaca airport.great location next to beach and marina.plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.bus stop opposite hotel has buses going to Limassol,Nicosia and ayia napa.only cost €4 each.pretty quiet at this time of year but most definitely will return in the summer season.the pool was closed for the winter season but opens again in April.

The property was great for the location. Across from the beach and walkable. But the town itself does not have much to offer, just lots of restaurants and cheap souvenir shops, so beach is the main focus. The room was nice and so was the view. The staff was amazing. One thing that was disappointing is the pool, it is incredibly small and there is no view of outside at all. You feel really closed in, there was no sun by the pool, and it was just not a nice feature of the hotel. But being across from the beach made up for the pool. My husband and I also used the spa facility for a couple's massage. The massages were nice though we had better, and one masseuse had really long nails, so that was really uncomfortable.

Hotel rooms seemed to have been renovated fairly recently. Our bed was a bit overused though i.e. had a dent in the mattress by now. Would recommend to replace the mattress(es) to new ones. Breakfast and dinner menus could use a bit more love and “color”. In the dinner menu, perhaps smaller portions but more focus on fresh and from ground-up (e.g. freshly cut potato chips vs. pre-frozen ones) meals would be preferred. What makes this hotel a gem is clearly the staff. Everyone we’ve met from reception, over cleaning personnel to waiters have been super helpful, friendly and accomodating. Especially, George who is one of the waiters was always going above and beyond to make sure we felt great during our dinners. Thanks again George.

The desk staff was very nice and helpful. They helped us find an outstanding restaurant and were very helpful in the check in process and storing luggage. The room was excellent. It was bright, cheery with a partial sea view even though it was advertised as only a city view. The room was actually better than the pictures show.

This Hotel is very well situated right next to the bus station and the harbour and well known Finikoudes promenade and the sea of course. The only criticism I have are the comfort of the beds which at my age over 70 I find very hard. I had to ask for a mattress topper which was provided straight away but was memory foam and therefore rather warm.

This was not our first stay at this hotel and it will not be our last. Everything is to notch but there are many top notch hotels in the area. The true difference in this hotel that takes it to another level is the wonderful warm welcoming staff from housekeeping to reception: chefs to waiters and everyone is made to feel welcome and important. I cannot praise them enough. Well done everyone you are a credit to your hotel.

What a great place to stay and a massive thank you to the amazing staff. Special thanks to Nasia who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The desk staff was very nice and helpful. They helped us find an outstanding restaurant and were very helpful in the check in process and storing luggage. The room was excellent. It was bright, cheery with a partial sea view even though it was advertised as only a city view. The room was actually better than the pictures show.

The Sun Hall hotel is excellently situated for sight seeing (bus terminal about 5 mins from hotel for info and rover ticket passes or buses stop up from hotel). Right across thd road from a sandy beach. The pool area at the hotel is licated down 5 steps so if you need so not accessible for wheelchair users (something the hotel could remedy by providing a ramp) but then the pool is accessed by "ladder type" steps. The buffet breakfast is very nice & the staff very helpful. Of a lunch time or evening there's plenty of lovely restaurants & bars all along finakodes, into the town itself & around into mackenzie beach to get a true flavour of Cyprus.

Only 10 minutes drive from Larnaca airport.great location next to beach and marina.plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.bus stop opposite hotel has buses going to Limassol,Nicosia and ayia napa.only cost €4 each.pretty quiet at this time of year but most definitely will return in the summer season.the pool was closed for the winter season but opens again in April.

I’ve stayed here several times now - excellent every time. Comfy rooms, amazing views from the sea view rooms. I always go full bord because it’s easier, cheaper but the food is good and there’s so much of it. I’m back in six months for sure.

The room was super clean, staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing!!! Many choices of cheese, eggs, meat option and even fish option. We were very happy with that! Thank you :)

Hotel rooms seemed to have been renovated fairly recently. Our bed was a bit overused though i.e. had a dent in the mattress by now. Would recommend to replace the mattress(es) to new ones. Breakfast and dinner menus could use a bit more love and “color”. In the dinner menu, perhaps smaller portions but more focus on fresh and from ground-up (e.g. freshly cut potato chips vs. pre-frozen ones) meals would be preferred. What makes this hotel a gem is clearly the staff. Everyone we’ve met from reception, over cleaning personnel to waiters have been super helpful, friendly and accomodating. Especially, George who is one of the waiters was always going above and beyond to make sure we felt great during our dinners. Thanks again George.

I think it's the best place to stay in larnaca. The service here is amazing! The hotel is super clean. It was much more then our expectations! Shower is so amazing. They give you all what you need - even big mineral water per day. The location is perfect as well - exactly on the main of everything and on the marina / beach. Breakfast is wow! There's very fresh choices of everything - smoked salmon, fresh pastries, eggs, bread. For drinking there's fresh orange juice! And of course cappuccino / hot choco machine. I really enjoyed the breakfast. I really recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the double room with sea view and it was the best choice. Bed super comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and had choices for my husband that is vegan. We arrived earlier for the check in and the hotel offered us breakfast while we waited for our room. The drinks at the lobby are amazing.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was perfect. We had balcony witb side view and it looked out to the port, the marina and a town square. There was a food and music festival on which i enjoyed. The breakfast was varied, plenty of everything and the fresh orange juice was delicious and plentiful.

I have a soft spot for the Sunhall, based on many trips to Larnaca. Location is great, the food is good (lots of it), and cheaper than any of the nearby eateries on the seafront. The rooms are a good size, the staff are all lovely and the pool outback is a great place to hang when it’s too hot to be in direct sunshine on the beach. The pool gets plenty of sunshine though, after about 11am, if that’s your thing. Top tips: Thanos who runs the bar is a lovely man who’s very good with the customers and mixes a mean drink. Also if you rent a car at the airport park it in a free car park which is a 7 minute walk, west through the bus terminus. Don’t worry about driving through the bus terminus - you won’t get shouted at. But don’t follow satnav to the hotel front door cos you can’t park there. Go two blocks past the right-turn for the hotel (when driving from the airport) and then turn right towards the sea and the car park is just near the bus terminus. The hotel is sited near good pharmacies, mini-markets round the corner and several banks to change money at a proper rate. At the time of writing (4/8/26) don’t think about driving round Larnaca because they’re changing the roads with new pipes and cobbles replacing old tarmac: many roads are blocked. But everything you need is within a 15 walk anyway. If you want a haircut go to ‘Bam’s’…. Never had a bad trim there :) And no, I’m not on a commission from the Sunhall or Bam’s ! :-)

Great location next to marina. The pool was quite big, would be good to increase opening hours. The bed was big and good that it was not two singles joined together. There was no bath tub in the room. The breakfast was spread was big and diverse.
