We had a fantastic stay in a spacious riverview suite that immediately felt comfortable and well thought‑out. The shower/bathroom was a good size, and the whole place was spotless and inviting. One of the standout features was the amazing view, which made mornings and evenings feel extra special. The location worked perfectly for us — Riverbend Park was just a short stroll away, ideal for children, and it was only a 10‑minute walk into town, making it easy to explore without needing the car. We received a lovely welcome, complete with Tasmanian chocolate truffles on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The reception team was friendly and genuinely helpful, making check‑in smooth and offering great local tips. The kitchen was well appointed, with everything we needed, including a coffee machine and an excellent supply and variety of coffee and tea. One small thing to be aware of: if you’re staying on a Friday night, the Mudbar on the ground floor of the building has a DJ and it can be a bit loud. It didn’t ruin our stay, but it’s worth noting for light sleepers. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations — comfortable, convenient, and full of small touches that made it memorable.
