Americana Hotel

We had a planned event that was going to mean we couldnt check in till much later in the evening, we were aloud to leave our bag and then eventually check in around 11pm. Reception was still manned and check in was easy. Room was clean and spacious and ideal for just getting your head down after a long day. Bathroom really clean and free wifi so my daughter could upload all her photos taken for the day. And breakfast waa winner nuce and simple but needed for another day in London. Great Hotel.

Hôtel très bien situé, la station Baker Street est à 5 minutes (desservie par 5 lignes). Quartier agréable. Près de Regent's Park. Accueil 24/24 souriant et efficace. Petit salon à disposition. Chambre correcte, très bonne literie (oreillers également). Salle de bain mini et qui mériterait une rénovation. Propreté satisfaisante. Bon petit déjeuner avec viennoiseries fraîches. Pas de plats chauds. Petit coin "sans gluten". Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

As the ending to a 20 day European holiday although the room was clean and orderly, when the bed is about 80% of the room space with the lack of a closet there is little room to move around to dress or access luggage contents. Bathroom is also small with no counter space, shower doors are small and difficult to enter and exit, shower with constant over shower head water unless you turn off water since it’s so small, but very clean. Quaint and presents itself well with easy walking distance to the Metro and a variety of activities and restaurants. For those with limited ability there are many stairs and the elevator is very old and small and you have to open and close the doors for it to operate properly, because if not closed properly it doesn’t operate and you are forced to use the stairs. On the upside there are plenty of electrical outlets for those like us that have 10 or more devices that need charging. Far better than some places with only one outlet. Based on cost, it is a fair value and the staff is helpful, you just need to be aware that this is not a modern hotel and rooms are small but clean and comfortable.

A nice little hotel in a great location. Breakfast was fresh and had a good selection. We Loved the 24hr tea/coffee machine, as no kettles in the rooms. The rooms are small but adequate, clean and had good storage options to pack your things away. It was just to sleep and explore, so served its purpose. Very friendly staff.

Für einen London Städte Trip 4-5 Tage vollkommend ausreichend zu dem Preis . Tube Baker Street nur 3-5 geh Minuten vom Hotel entfernt . Innerhalb 10 Minuten ist man mitten im Zentrum. Frühstück ausreichend . Täglich ist der Kaffeevollautomat & Wasser sowie Obst & Gebäck frei zugänglich. Fenster leider undicht wenn man ein Zimmer zur Straßen Seite hat kann es sehr laut werden nachts .

Nicely situated hotel, nice and nicely priced room, friendly staff. Very good value free breakfast with nice coffee - available 24/7. Only downside was that the lift didn’t always work - because the design meant that if people didn’t close the doors (which they didn’t while I was there), then the lift could not be called from one floor to another.

The room was the filthiest i jave experienced in my extensive travells. The bed sheets were not clean. The tap was broken. There was mystery liquids all of the walls amd the carpets were covered in the most fowl stains. The lift was also broken, thus forcing us to carry 30kg luggage up and down the stairs. The manager also tried to charge us double the rate we were told it would cost. She was also very rude and cold. We recieved no help or warm welcomes from staff each day when we would return to the hotel. The free buffet breakfast is l Just a crossont amd a juice. The only good part is the location. Even then, it is quite far from the monuments.

The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The lady in charge of the dining area was very helpful in filling my contego flask with boiling water. The lift was very useful. Although the Traffic outside was noisy at times, the hotel itself was very quiet, and I didn’t hear any other guests. The location is brilliant for my visits to Lord’s Cricket Ground, Regents Park, The Royal Academy of Music and Wigmore Hall. I look forward to my next visit in July.

No AC/Air Conditioning & windows hardly opened. Once you've booked (i.e. once they got your $), hotel management will completely ghost you = absolutely zero response.

Det var ingen ventilasjon fra badet og dette resulterte i mugg som luktet stramt i begge rommene. Vi måtte alltid ha baddøra igjen for å unngå den vonde lukten. Badet var grusomt med muggflekker og skitt overalt. Teppene var skitne med mye flekker, til og med sengetøyet hadde små sorte flekker og var slitt. Det var ikke lydtett imellom rommene som også resulterte i mye forstyrrelser på natta. Frokosten var svært enkel og ingenting å skryte av. Hotellbetjeningen var ikke særlig hyggelig og overså gjestene. Ingen løftet blikket for å se hvem som kom inn eller ut døra. Kaffen var god.

Das dass Zimmer ein Schuhkarton gleicht ist eigentlich kein Problem, ich will ja lediglich da Schlafen. Alles wirkt schrecklich abgenutzt. Schwarze und blonde Haare in der frischen Bettwäsche! Frühstück: alles einzeln abgepackt. Lage: hervorragend!

For the price paid, this hotel provided excellent value. The room was spotless and the general communal areas very clean and well looked after. The area close to Baker Street is a good central location, with hotel being in safe area. The staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast included in our price was decent. Overall, very pleased with our one night stay and would definitely stay again.

The location was convenient, the exterior looked inviting and well maintained but the interior was dated, dirty and carpeted areas were ripped. In the room, we had black mold in the shower, and the mattress was as hard as bricks. Staff seemed indifferent to guests and weren’t very welcoming.

Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK. The decor in the room, mildew in the shower and general appearance of the hotel was dated and tardy. Service was good and overall served a purpose. Needs a lick of paint and some tlc though.

This property is very old and the rooms need updating. The carpet and skirting are filthy. It is also very noisy from the street. The shower was good and the breakfast had good options, including gluten free.

The room was nice and the beds really comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but also nothing special. Fruits were only served on one day. Would be nice to have them every day. The street in the front of the buidling was very noisy even at night. The windows would not keep the noise outside very good. But all in all it was a nice stay and I can defenitely recommend the hotel.

I wouldnt stay here in the summer. The rooms are incredibly hot. Also the wifi is non existent. The hotel really only has the location and staff going for it.

Altes Hotel mit viel Potential. Leider waren die Zimmer nicht sehr sauber und sowohl in den Fluren als auch in den Zimmer lagen Teppiche die ihre Arbeit getan haben. Das Wasser in der Dusche wechselte ständig von kalt zu heiß oder gar kein Wasser. Die Betten sind sehr hart was nicht zu einem guten Schlaf beiträgt.

The room was in good condition, but the WiFi was very poor in my room—I wasn’t able to do my work from my hotel room.

Everything about the room was good apart from Wenden showering, shower pressure was abysmal and when shampooing hair stopped completely. Had to wait with soapy head and hands for it to start again.

Great stay very convenient hotel close to Baker street tube and Marylebone station. Comfortable room with nice continental breakfast. Friendly staff and amenable to looking after luggage if get to hotel early or leaving late.

Everything was just perfect for our stay. The location superb with easy access to stations. The hotel was welcoming, great hosts, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and return when in London, just superb 👌

Great place to stay, good rooms, simply and adequate breakfast , great staff, clean close to the tube, pubs, regents park is at the bottom of the road, easy to find, quite area, I would defiantly stay again

Compact hotel, convenient and close to Baker Street underground station. The rooms are small compared to US standards but if you are looking for a simple comfortable place to stay this fits the bill very nicely. Very good value for the money. And breakfast too!

Needed an overnight near Baker St, so this was a perfect location. The hotel is in good condition, the staff were friendly, the wifi worked and the breakfast was nice!

Hotel was a great local for us and only half an hour walk to the London Zoo. Breakfast could have had more options but it was fine otherwise.
