Kensington Gardens Hotel

Quarto com bom tamanho, banheiro pequeno mas suficiente para as necessidades, janela para a rua, ficamos no porão, mas o barulho de manhã não nos incomodou.

Super petit hôtel. Très bien situé à environ 200m du métro, et proche d'une rue très commerçante. J'y ai passé 3 nuits. Le ménage est quotidien. C'est propre et bien restauré. Le quartier est calme

1番のポイントはエレベーターが無いことです 階段は幅もステップも狭いので普通に大きいサイズのスーツケースを女性1人で運ぶのは危ないし無理と言っても過言では無い。私は運悪く1番上の4階のお部屋でした、2人だったので2人がかりで1つずつ持ち上げて運びましたがそれも一苦労(>_<)1人だったらどうなっていたことか(*_*) お部屋も狭かったのでスーツケースを2つ開けるためにはベットをずらしました。 シャワーのお湯の出具合は良くは無いけどギリギリok.排水は問題なし。 お部屋は頻繁に水が流れている音が聞こえました(夜中は少し気になる) でもリーズナブルなのでしょうがないかも。1854年頃に建てたれた建物みたいなのでちょっとした感慨深さもあり、エレベーターなくてもしょうがないか〜、、とは思いますが、それは荷物を部屋まで上げられるかどうか次第ですね。ヒースロー空港まで1本で行けるパディントン駅までUberで10ポンドくらいで、ホテルの周りはイギリスの三大スーパーM&S、テスコ、セインツベリーズもあって簡単に食事できるところもあるので立地は完璧です

Room was ok. Bed is very hard and there is some sort of emergency light that blinks red directly over the bed which was a bit annoying. Everything else was ok. Breakfast seamed like good value but didnt eat it. Weird check-in process (in sister hotel next door) was only sent to us after we had checked in and figured it out ourselves. Overall decent value for money but with the caveat that you can end up on the top floor so you need to be fit enought to climb 5 flights of stairs.

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. I arrived at 8am after a red eye flight, and to my luck my room was ready. I stayed in the room with the twin bed. It was small, but perfect for my solo trip. I had a great view of the Kensington Gardens. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic location too, a short walk from Notting Hill and Hyde Park. When I return to London, I will definitely stay here.
