On the hotel details on the booking sites, it says 24 hour airport shuttle available. This is a lie. It does not run overnight. I needed to head to T5 at about 4am and it doesn’t start until 5:30. I was asked if I needed help with transport so said what time does the shuttle run as I need to leave at 4. Was told it doesn’t start till 5:30 and that I have to go and book a taxi at the screens by the exit. I said it says 24hour shuttle on the website and the lady just ignored me. I also sent the hotel a message asking them to add my Bonvoy membership number to my booking and again got ignored, have still not received a reply. The restaurant was OK. The food was just OK but probably not overpriced for London. The service was quick but not friendly, just efficient. The restaurant was almost empty, only 4 tables in use. Despite its large size, they sat us all next to each other. The tables are really close together so you felt like you were at the same table. Made the experience uncomfortable and you just felt you wanted to eat fast and leave, might have been the reason they did that. Overall the hotel is OK. The rooms are to a 4 star standard with a good shower, it was very quiet in the rooms and had a good sleep. But the lie about the shuttle on the booking sites, being ignored when asking about this, hotel not relying to my message about Bonvoy and the way we were sat so close together for no reason in the restaurant mean it’s not the place for me.
