Units are cleaned regularly but lack maintenance upkeep. Pool does not get cleaned and had dead frogs in it for the entirety of our stay. Area around the hotel rooms are not cleaned and looks like the place you would only stay at because it’s conveniently close for work or wedding.

Went to view the pool and the pool had rubbish in it, unsure of how it got there. Once staff were advised it was cleaned the next day. Not happy that laundry facilities were not available

We chose this property because it was close to the beach and had a pool. When we arrived there was a sign on the pool fence saying it was out of order, this was not mentioned to us at check-in. Our room was smelly, smelled of dog (the place is pet-friendly!!), the floors were sticky and clearly dirty (something I discovered after I saw the black on my feet after walking barefoot from the bathroom to the bedroom. The bed was terrible, sagging in the middle which caused my partner and I to roll into each other, the pillows were old and lumpy and flat and caused me to wake with a sore neck. There was no hairdryer in the room, something that was of great inconvenience for someone with long hair. In a room for two there was only one chair at the dining table. Overall it was a very unpleasant stay, a terrible night's sleep and a great disappointment. Won't be back.

The people here are absolutely lovely!! They made the place enjoyable. We loved the fact there are washing machines & driers in each room, but our washing machine was broken. We could use another one after 2pm, but we were always out everyday. The floors were really dirty & there was a black line around every edge as if only the middle of the floor got cleaned. The couch was very old & had crumbs & dirt all over in the sides, the dishes were dirty - there was a whole chunk of jam on one plate. They did give us fresh towels daily if we wanted & the room had everything we needed. The pool is very small & wasn’t very clean. Having the bistro right there made it easy to get meals or coffee if needed. The bbq was no longer working which was a shame. Beautiful area for early morning walks though. Again we can’t say enough how lovely the people are here! It definitely made up for the place not being as clean as we expected.

Terrible family accommodations pool was dirty and like a bath, property is clearly not maintained there was mould on the entire outside of the building, dirt out the front of the room instead of grass, an ambulance arrived one evening pretty sure somebody had over dosed in one of the apartments the manager is rude an extremely unaccomodating we left two nights earlier than our paid stay and only received a one night refund instead of two nights even though when I spoke to them in person two nights was promised this type of accommodation is somewhere where people go to take drugs and get off their face for beach front accommodation I have never been so shocked at the lack of maintenance and service I strongly recommend staying at the lanai apartments for a family vacation in Mackay as this is where we rebooked and had full satisfaction of our stay.

We had a small problem with our room but the hotel manager was amazing and sorted everything out really quickly, nothing was a problem. We are really grateful to her for all her help and we had a great stay at Seabreeze. It was value for money and had all the amenities we needed. Bistro was great too.

Rooms comfortable but showing their age. Very conveniently attached to a venue overlooking the beach with great atmosphere and staff. Were there on a Sunday and they had awesome entertainment. Would stay again. Great addition to our trip

Fantastic location for families as close to playgrounds and beach. Pub does awesome meals, with a great kids play area. We booked a 'family' room for 4. Only cutlery and plates/bowls for 3. Only 1 dining chair. No blankets for the bunks for kids. Not 'family' equiped. Very Mouldy roof and walls in bathroom. A mouldy hole above the kitchen. Pool area run down but pool clean. Needs a lot of maintenance work and restocking of basic utensils/ furniture to make stays convenient.

Thank you for having pet friendly apartments, its great you offer the service . A few buts, I expected each apartment to be closed off for the dogs to have an outside area to be off leash , so i was a bit tired having to get up and put leashes on and off through the night. I got into the shower there was still someones soap from a previous stay, the towel rack was a bit broken, i did inform front desk as i wasnt sure if it was meant to slide back in and sit there in position, so i just let them know. The menu was dirty and hadnt been replaced, i did get there around 730 pm so understood if the kitchen was closed.

The staff were amazing The room wasn’t up to code, the staff handled it well and relocated us to a new room. Upon inspection, that room was also poorly cleaned but it was after hours so we were unable to speak to staff about it.

Room was dirty. Hair in the shower. Used bandaid on the floor. PowerPoint's very loose on walls. Put sign out to clean our room midstay, but it was never done. Ran out of toilet rolls and towels. Had to go to the bar and ask barstaff for toilet rolls and towels. The guy I asked was actually very helpful. On the plus side, the water was nice and hot for showers and it was quiet at night.

Didn't like that the patio light wasn't working. Cleaner did not leave bath towels for 3 people only for 2. So one had to be shared. Curtains were dirty in some places and walls had a few dirty spots from pets. Cleaner didn't replenish coffee and milk. Was annoying having been rung to see if we were turning up and wasn't late. Even though it was Reserve Now Pay Later I was asked over phone to pay them. Found it bit rude. Receptionist wasn't welcoming. Overall place was ok.

Definitely not exceptional as other reviews state. Either we got the worst apartment or the reviews are overrated? Barely air conditioned because tiny, rusty looking, ancient box air conditioners barely cover internal areas. Old interior with old worn furniture and very basic bathroom. Dirt outside back door, no grass or greenery for pets. Not worth the extra travel or the price in my opinion.

There was no hairdryer in the room, something that was of great inconvenience for someone with long hair. In a room for two there was only one chair at the dining table. Overall it was a very unpleasant stay, a terrible night's sleep and a great disappointment. Won't be back.

The apartment had lots of room which was great. The furniture is basic. The location was a nice surprise at the end of a dead end street. It was quiet with the beach across the street and great lookout points a nearby walk.

Property is greatly in need of some TCL. Rooms were clean but dated. Ground were in bad shape need a lot of worrk. Staff was good. Restaurant was better than expected. At best a 2 out of 5.

I had to leave a deposit of 100 dollars an was told I would get it back the next day but in the morning a different lady said no they couldn't so not sure wats going on but that's not right paying 241 for a night with no food thanks I won't be recommending this hotel at all

We had a small problem with our room but the hotel manager was amazing and sorted everything out really quickly, nothing was a problem. We are really grateful to her for all her help and we had a great stay at Seabreeze. It was value for money and had all the amenities we needed. Bistro was great too.

If you travel without transport organised you are stranded. Struggle to get taxis or Ubers anywhere. Staff at the sea breeze are rude and unhelpful. If you have to stay in the area I would recommend going into Mackay.

Fantastic location for families as close to playgrounds and beach. Pub does awesome meals, with a great kids play area. We booked a 'family' room for 4. Only cutlery and plates/bowls for 3. Only 1 dining chair. No blankets for the bunks for kids. Not 'family' equiped. Very Mouldy roof and walls in bathroom. A mouldy hole above the kitchen. Pool area run down but pool clean. Needs a lot of maintenance work and restocking of basic utensils/ furniture to make stays convenient.

Rooms comfortable but showing their age. Very conveniently attached to a venue overlooking the beach with great atmosphere and staff. Were there on a Sunday and they had awesome entertainment. Would stay again. Great addition to our trip

We had a very disappointing experience at this motel. We were asked to leave because of the behaviour of another group of guests, despite having absolutely no involvement in what they were doing. Instead of investigating the situation properly or speaking with the people responsible, management treated us as though we were part of the problem. We were respectful throughout our stay and did nothing to justify being evicted. Being forced to leave because of someone else's actions was embarrassing, stressful, and completely unfair. We expected management to deal with the guests who were actually causing the issues, not punish innocent guests by association. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here. Customer service was poor, the situation was handled unprofessionally, and we were left feeling that we were not treated fairly.
