Holiday Inn Manchester West by IHG

Great hotel, took us about 20-30mins to walk to the city centre. Staff were helpful and friendly on check in. Room was very clean. Breakfast was lovely too, lots of choice of hot and cold items. The only things if I had to be picky was that the room is a bit dated, some old marks on the carpet etc but compared to prices of the actual city centre hotels it was fair value.

The room in general was fine, until I started to unpack and I found a medication package down the side of the bedside table, a sock left in the bedside table drawer and a used tissue in the wardrobe. Parking was really good and the only real positive about this hotel

The air conditioner unit was making a noise, which was beyond the normal sound; sounded like something mechanical was wrong and people in adjacent rooms where playing around in the corridor, playing the TV on loud until 2:30 am!

Clean room but took a £30 deposit bc I booked after 10 which I was supposed to get when I checked out and never came back into my account
