The location in the medina is just what we wanted being in the old part of Marrakech. The hotel garden surrounding the outdoor restaurant and swimming pool was an oasis of greenery and calmness. The staff at the Reception Desk, Restaurant and bar were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative was our Superior room. We chose this room based on the pictures on the Expedia website which were the newly Refurbished rooms ours was not and was rather dark shabby. Although kept very clean it was not what I was paying for and it did not spoil our holiday in Marrakesh. I believe the price of the room should reflect what you are actually getting.

The hotel gives you a nice feeling with its beautiful architecture, lush gardens, the heated swimming pool (but very shady) and stylish restaurant. The rooms are advertised as soundproof, but that's not the case, you can hear people in the other rooms talking. If you're a light sleeper that might put you off.

We stayed in a solarium room which was one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was very good indeed and the spa experience was also fantastic. A lovely tranquil retreat from the madness of Marrakech!

The hotel is in the Medina in a cul de sac. Quiet. You can hear the birds sing in the early morning hours. The area between the rooms is very nicely treed. Staff are extremely polite, helpful and pleasant. The Hammam and massage was great. Buffet breakfast was very good and we loved the cappuccino and the mint tea. The room and the whole are was very clean. We walked to many different places with ease. The hotel is an old style hotel (not a modern hotel) but it is maintained extremely well and has true character. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see the history of Marrakesh and the Medina.

The property is well managed, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant is beautiful. The hotel is clean, bedroom are clean and the bed was comfortable. Would recommend for anyone travelling into Marrakech.

This is a small hotel with a distinct Moroccan feel and beautiful gardens that hug the pool and rooms. My room was a little tired decor wise but had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (including my own at home!). Excellent aircon and a free bottle of water each day. The stone floor in my room added to keeping it cool in the hot August sun of 46°C but it seemed grubby, as on wiping up a spillage of suncream, a fair amount of what look like dirt, came up too . Benefit of the doubt would say it could be discolouration from the terracotta floor tiles. The tiny ants crawling out from the edge of the sink taps in the bathroom were somewhat disconcerting. Great shower, though the hot/cold signs were transposed and I stupidly didn't cotton on until I'd asked the plumber to look at my cold shower! (Room 119). The room overall was very charming, which was just as well. The little outside sitting area was also a nice addition though not used as i was alone. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food at breakfast was abundant however the evening meals were disappointing depending on your choice. Lovely pool area but as usual people leave towels and belongings to reserve them whilst disappearing for hours. The hotel is in a convenient quiet spot not far from some shopping and attractions that are walking distance. We got taxis to venture further for dinner on three occasions out of our six nights. We did the sunrise hot air balloon experience which was excellent.

The location is not bad, about a kilometre from the heart of the old city, Jama Fina. The hotel needs some serious maintenance though. The toilet commode was not firmly fixed to the floor, the AC ran only at one setting and rooms are on multiple levels with as much as 3 steps between bedroom and sitting area.

Other than convenience to major attractions, it was an average hotel. The ambiance was nice but the property showed signs of aging. Some of the restaurant staff were unfriendly but others excellent. Hit or a miss.

Dejligt mellemting mellem luksus Riad og lille Hotel. En lille smule slidt og lidt kedeligt Interior som kunne trænge til en upgradering. Mad i restaurant var temmeligt kedelig, og selvom man bemærkede stor umage med anretning, var udbud kedeligt og temmelig smagløst- men pænt og rent og sødt og tjenstvilligt personale.

My husband and I stayed at Les Jardins de la Medina and we had an amazing stay. The staff are 1000/10 very kind, thoughtful, and they remember you, you aren’t just another face. The food at the hotel was really yummy and our room was so nice. We stayed in the one with the balcony. 100/10 will stay again

Lovely pool area but as usual people leave towels and belongings to reserve them whilst disappearing for hours. The hotel is in a convenient quiet spot not far from some shopping and attractions that are walking distance. We got taxis to venture further for dinner on three occasions out of our six nights. We did the sunrise hot air balloon experience which was excellent.
This is a small hotel with a distinct Moroccan feel and beautiful gardens that hug the pool and rooms. My room was a little tired decor wise but had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (including my own at home!). Excellent aircon and a free bottle of water each day. The stone floor in my room added to keeping it cool in the hot August sun of 46°C but it seemed grubby, as on wiping up a spillage of suncream, a fair amount of what look like dirt, came up too . Benefit of the doubt would say it could be discolouration from the terracotta floor tiles. The tiny ants crawling out from the edge of the sink taps in the bathroom were somewhat disconcerting. Great shower, though the hot/cold signs were transposed and I stupidly didn't cotton on until I'd asked the plumber to look at my cold shower! (Room 119). The room overall was very charming, which was just as well. The little outside sitting area was also a nice addition though not used as i was alone. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food at breakfast was abundant however the evening meals were disappointing depending on your choice. The location is not bad, about a kilometre from the heart of the old city, Jama Fina. The hotel needs some serious maintenance though. The toilet commode was not firmly fixed to the floor, the AC ran only at one setting and rooms are on multiple levels with as much as 3 steps between bedroom and sitting area.

Absolutely loved the location of this property; within the city walls, yet (just about) away from the chaos of the centre! Friendly welcome, beautiful building, fabulous gardens and gorgeous rooms (we had 113). We stayed in a solarium room which was one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was very good indeed and the spa experience was also fantastic. A lovely tranquil retreat from the madness of Marrakech!

The location in the medina is just what we wanted being in the old part of Marrakech. The hotel garden surrounding the outdoor restaurant and swimming pool was an oasis of greenery and calmness. The hotel is in the Medina in a cul de sac. Quiet. You can hear the birds sing in the early morning hours. The area between the rooms is very nicely treed. Staff are extremely polite, helpful and pleasant. The Hammam and massage was great. Buffet breakfast was very good and we loved the cappuccino and the mint tea. The room and the whole are was very clean. We walked to many different places with ease. The hotel is an old style hotel (not a modern hotel) but it is maintained extremely well and has true character. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see the history of Marrakesh and the Medina.

The property is well managed, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant is beautiful. The hotel is clean, bedroom are clean and the bed was comfortable. Would recommend for anyone travelling into Marrakech.

Dejligt mellemting mellem luksus Riad og lille Hotel. En lille smule slidt og lidt kedeligt Interior som kunne trænge til en upgradering. Mad i restaurant var temmeligt kedelig, og selvom man bemærkede stor umage med anretning, var udbud kedeligt og temmelig smagløst- men pænt og rent og sødt og tjenstvilligt personale.

Le personnel, professionnel et attentionné, se montre constamment aux petits soins pour les clients. Nous avons séjourné dans une superbe chambre Sultane, particulièrement agréable et spacieuse. La nôtre, très grande, disposait même de son propre jardin privatif, aménagé dans l’esprit d’un riad. Le petit déjeuner, servi sous forme de buffet complet dans le jardin, à proximité de la piscine, est un agréable moment pour commencer la journée dans un cadre verdoyant et apaisant.

Bel établissement niché au cœur d’un vaste jardin verdoyant, à proximité de la médina, tout en offrant un véritable havre de paix. Le personnel, professionnel et attentionné, se montre constamment aux petits soins pour les clients. Nous avons séjourné dans une superbe chambre Sultane, particulièrement agréable et spacieuse. La nôtre, très grande, disposait même de son propre jardin terrasse privatif, aménagé dans l’esprit d’un riad. Great little breakfast, fantastic bar staff and waiters. Really good food at the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner. The location is pretty good with the main marketplace being walkable. Very traditional feeling in a good way! But... The room was outdated and looked nothing like the photos - our shower leaked every time it was used. Sun bathing towels weren't replaced as we needed to use them to prevent the shower from leaking. Reception staff felt rude, abrupt, and weren't helpful to resolve replacing towels, making inappropriate comments, arranging taxis without telling a price before getting in (which is a must in Morocco to ensure you don't get ripped off). Gym equipment is very outdated, especially the rowing machine. When we arrived, we were asked what sent to select to be sprayed on our bedding, a really nice touch, but unfortunately, I don't think the housekeeping staff sprayed anything as we didn't notice. Additionally, the bathroom was not clean or fresh feeling. At best, this is a 3 star hotel with some facilities. The restaurant staff were great and made for a very enjoyable experience, the pool was great to bath in during the heat, the food was very good and the cocktails were good. But, there's a lot to be said about the points above.
