Everything about this hotel is exquisite. From the team at the front desk, to the divine showroom restaurant and bar, the rooms, to the the terrace where breakfast was exceptional. 10/10. Everywhere you look is spotless, and beautiful in design. Loved it.

Wow. The Royce is on the level of some of the best hotels I have stayed in. Think the Surrey and the Mark in New York, but at a fraction of the price. The room was gorgeous Art Deco modern. Spacious bathroom. Nice sheets and bed. Lovely balcony looking out through the trees onto green grounds. The restaurant was excellent; good dishes and excellent service. The bar was our favorite. It is also gorgeous and has plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Came to Melbourne for the day on a quick overnight business trip that happened to be on my birthday. They were able to accommodate an early check in as we landed early. And once they realized it was my birthday, upgraded my room and sent a little treat in the afternoon. A nice surprise after a day of meetings. We had breakfast twice and it was amazing food, great selection, and service. Room was clean, modern, and the bed was so comfortable. I only wish I had more time there. The bar looked great! But we didn’t have time to check it out. I will definitely be back and stay at Royce next time….and more than one night.

the only issue was parking ($70 extra ontop of accomodation with no street parking over 3 hours was a big ask), everything else was amazing! we would definetly stay again

The Royce Hotel is a hotel I always recommended friends and family to stay at.. the service is impeccable , the hotel itself is clean , neat and well decorated .. Valet parking was available , which makes it convenient for weekday parking . High quality all round .

The property has been recently renovated. It showcases old school Hollywood glamor with soft shades of purple, classic glass fixtures and plush couches. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, jumping at any opportunity to help. The location is minutes to the CBD by car and to the Botanical Garden by foot. The Showcase Bar is just that, a showcase. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again. Very special kudos to Nate and Kelly.

Amazing value and lovely neighbourhood. So convenient to public transport, the Gardens and the lively Domain precinct. We also very much enjoyed their restaurant.

The hotel was above and beyond most accommodation that I’ve been to. Staff and their service was excellent. They couldn’t do enough for us. The cleaniness over all was pristine. I would recommend anyone to experience this accommodation.

Returned to The Royce Hotel after many years to enjoy some 'me' time. From the first moment to the last...it was 'Wow'!!! What a stunning and beautiful refurbishment! Everywhere I looked was pleasing to the eye and so classy! The reception staff's warm greetings and helping hands made me feel very welcomed. Thank you, Gerardo, Lucia and Nicholas! The deluxe room with bathtub was gorgeous, as were the bathroom, bed linen, bathrobes, bath towels and amenities! A very comfortable bed too!

I do not want to stay in a ground floor room with the breakfast area right outside the window so I must keep the curtains closed so people cannot use my room as a stage for me walking around being their entertainment

It’s a throwback to the art deco days style wise, but it’s fantastic once you open the door to your room in this boutique hotel. Great beds, strong WiFi and Moulton Brown amenities top it off. Trams are right outside the door and it’s minutes from the hustle of the CBD. Loved it !

A special 'thank you' to Rachael, Casey and Miguel...super helpful, obliging and friendly!!! ☺️ Room Service: Friendly and efficient! Food served from the restaurant is always of a high standard, well-presented and flavoursome. Although a little pricey, I still do enjoy every mouthful. Due to the high price of desserts at $27, I refuse to order them...which, of course, is in my favour (less calories)! The Royce rooms are spacious and luxurious, especially the bathrooms! In my opinion, the bed is comfortable for me. However, I do realise that each person's needs are diverse. I highly recommend you pamper yourself and stay at The Royce, as I am sure that you will enjoy it too!!! 💖 Thank you for another enjoyable stay and please continue to offer the exceptional services which you currently provide!!! 🥰

I stayed in one of the premium suites and while the facilities themselves were absolutely beautiful, the experience was completely overshadowed by the staff’s inflexibility and attitude. For a hotel at this price point, you’d expect a level of warmth, professionalism and basic accommodation for guests simply wanting to enjoy their stay. Instead, every request felt like pulling teeth and there was zero effort to be welcoming or solutions-focused. It’s a real shame, because the property is stunning – but the staff could benefit from remembering that hospitality is meant to feel hospitable.

The Royce is a unique property that is conveniently located close to the Botanical Gardens, the NGV and the city. Everything is within walking distance or a tram ride away. Service was excellent and the rooms were beautifully appointed. The bar area and cocktails are great and the Atrium at the back of the property serves great food.
