Sevilla Palace

We were there for Dia de Muertos, and this was right on the parade route, so location was excellent for that. The hotel was otherwise located in a very safe location, and it was easy to get everywhere. The area immediately surrounding the hotel on Paseo de la Reforma was quite "Americanized", with a Carl's Jr. and Panda Express right beside. However, behind the hotel there were some gems for local restaurants, and the proximity to other awesome neighborhoods was a highlight. Paseo de Reforma was a very beautiful street to walk down. The hotel is also close to several EcoBici bike rental stations, which is an excellent way to get around. The location was not as busy as the Center/Zocalo and not quite as hip as Condesa/Roma Norte. The service at the hotel was good, the rooms were clean and spacious and the shower/hot water worked. Echoing previous comments, the floors were noticeably unlevel but it was easy to ignore. There is a nice pool area on the rooftop, though smaller than what you see in the pictures. The gym was ~4/10 but if you are there for that, you're in the wrong place. Overall, the hotel served our needs and was the right price. I would recommend it.

The fact that they try to make it pleasant. It is old hotel, but the service is what sets them apart. And the rooftop pool is nice.

La habitación muy limpia, solo no le doy 5 estrellas porque tuve que pedir las toallas 4 veces para que me las llevarán, de ahí en fuera todo excelente, muy buena atención de todo el personal, y el valet parking muy eficiente.

El personal fué muy atento, pero la habitación estaba descuidada, y no muy limpia. Nos hospedamos en el PentHouse, pero estaba sucio, persianas rotas, un baño no servía y olía a cañería todos los baños, y la limpieza detrás de la cama y en esos lugares estaba muy mala

El control remoto de la tv, tenía alguna falla porque los huéspedes anteriores tuvieron que desconectar la tv. La alfombra, aparentemente, requería de una buena aspiradora.

El personal es amable; les falta un buen capitán Mas Capacitacion de atención al público y comportamiento en el área de restaurantes. ( chacoteo y malas palabras entre personal mientras no atienden ) Iluminación , mantenimiento y modernizar baños, contactos, regaderas, sistemas de ventilación , sobrecamas, cortinas y olores. Presencie un reclamo por habitación sucia y con chinches. Mi habitación no la limpiaron y tuve que hacer un reclamo. Y le falta modernizar cortinas arrugadas y descastadas asi como toallas El agua de la alberca turbia Lastima tiene una excelente ubicación y eñ si tiempo fue un hotel muy bueno.

Hay cucarachas en la habitación,se pidió hablar con el gerente y no atendió. Habitaciónes viejas y falta de mantenimiento.

I have stayed at this Hotel more than 10 times in a span of 10+ years. The management is letting this (once upon a time) wonderful Hotel go to ruins. The rooms all need urgent remodeling and updating. Old looking floors, showers that leak outside to the rest of the bathroom, no way to control AC temperature, Old looking curtains, etc etc. The STAFF is GREAT and very willing to help and make your stay comfortable. No issues there.

El hotel en general bien, sin embargo durante mi estancia el wifi estuvo fatal, iba y venía cada menos de 30-40 minutos, y aunque me dieron diferentes líneas de wifi todas fallaban y batallé mucho en algunas juntas y sesiones de trabajo durante la semana que estuve, lo cual si me complicó bastante, todo lo. demás bien. Al final cuando hice el check out y comenté esta situación preguntando si era recurrente, fuera de que me pidieran una disculpa por los inconvenientes o indicaran que no es recurrente, me comentaron que "era como los temblores", (así de mal manejado), que era un tema que llegaba a pasar y no controlaban y que cuando tienen demanda pues falla, muy mal manejado. Desafortunadamente ya también reservé mi siguiente viaje en ese hotel y deberé regresar ahí porque ya lo pagué.

Cuarto limpio y espacioso. No servía la calefacción del agua y no servía el calentador de aire de mi cuarto así que me trajeron uno pequeño

La habitacion estaba bien, limpia, acomodada, suficientes almohadas pero duras. Estuve en la habitacion 801, buenas vistas, pero paredes de papel, se escucha rodo el ruido exterior, me toco una posada con grupo musical y nl me dejo dormir coml hasta las 3am, por lo que no recomiendo si lo que busacas es descansl tranquilo, check in lo hice en la madrugada sin detalle, el check out es a la 1pm lo que me parece genial, tuve oportunidad de usar la alberca la cual tenia calefaccion lo que mejoro muchisimo la experiencia

The hotel is acceptable for the price. What ALWAYS drives me crazy there is their absolutely hard and fast rule that no one can check in before 3pm even though it's obvious that rooms are available. It's horrible. It leads to huge crowds waiting to check in, insufferably long, slow lines for check-in as 3pm approaches, and huge waits for elevators Virtually every hotel in Mexico allows earlier check-ins if rooms are available. The policy is unbelievable disrespectful, especially to returning, loyal customers. Last year we had to change rooms the second morning due to a huge maintenance issue. We packed up, went downstairs, and they actually made us wait for a replacement room until 3pm! We sat in the lobby with our re-packed suotcases from 10am until 3pm. I've never been treated so disrespectfully by a hotel in my life.

El servicio del personal del hotel es excelente! Cada uno de los empleados dan más del 100% para que uno se sienta apreciado! El personal de recepción, los botones, los meseros! Impecables!

El personal está entrenado a cualquier cosa que preguntes decirte NO SE PUEDE... pedí un cambio de habitación a una con más iluminación (sin importar cual fuera y precio), y la persona de recepción me comentó que "ya no había más habitaciones" cuando el botones me acababa de comentar que si había. Le insistí e hice el comentario a la recepcionista y me dijo, bueno si hay pero es con dos camas, y le dije no hay problema pasa que necesito la que sea pero con más iluminación, y me dice mira no hay, ya que es más cara la que tengo... le dije no hay problema, cuánto es más cara para pasar a pagar y hacer el cambio, son $160 más... claramente con esto me di cuenta que no les gusta hacer ningún cambio en tu reservación y por eso te niegan todo. Luego quise agregar una noche más y la misma historia, me comentaron: no se puede porque usted reservo por expedía y mis precios de habitación son más caros (cuando el precio de la habitación aún que sea más caro no es problema para mí en pagarlo) esa fue su respuesta y me colgó ... el día que ya me iba a ir volví a marcar para ver si otra recepcionista me decía lo mismo, y me comento que si se podría agregar sólo que lo hiciera desde la app. La forma en que me negaron los cambios fue de manera grosera, creo que únicamente la última persona que me contestó quiso resolver. Un día pedí una cobija porque moría de frío y el clima no funcionaba, y tardaron una hora, marque nuevamente y fue de la manera que me la enviaron. Pésimo servicio

Cancelaron mi reservación sin avisarme , tuve que buscar otro lugar

Very nice hotel, unfortunately we got there a day of a march and a couple of days later a parade which makes the access to the hotel impossible, other than that it is a great location with everything close to it

The location is the best part of the hotel. Reforma is close to everything. Easy for Ubers to pick you up out drop you off. I did eat at the restaurant once and the food was great. The staff is great and professional. If you look lost they’ll approach you and offer assistance. The daily cleaning was great as well.

It is rare to have such a friendly staffed hotel in CDMX. Lots of staff and all try to be helpful. Location is #1 in the city. Easy to catch a ride, but also very walkable.

Lovely staff, excellent location right on Day of the Dead parade route, walking distance (35 mins) to Zócalo. Liked rooftop heated pool and hot tub a lot! Room was fine. Clean. Can’t control room by temperature but we used the fan.

Right in the middle of the best of CDMX. Great common space on the rooftop with small pool to escape the busy city. Easy to catch an UBER or walk.

I travel to Mexico City for business. It is in a great location. The restaurant is quiet to conduct a business meeting in the evening.

Servicio de restaurante a la habitación 24 hrs, excelente. Recomiendo el caldo tlalpeño.

El día de llegada estaba un poco sucia la habitación, el piso y detrás del buró del medio. Y el baño igual. El restaurante un poco lento al pedir a la carta.

En general es muy buen hotel con buena ubicación sobre reforma el bufet está muy rico y el servicio es excelente todos muy amables.
