It is old and tired. The lifts re over 50 years old. On occasion they don't work and you have to walk down. No air conditioning in the room. At least it didn't work and the reception staff just shrug their shoulders

Very basic compared to other Leonardo chain Hotels in Germany. However, perfectly adequate for a one night stay. Reception staff excellent but barman a little surly!

Large older hotel in reasonable location for centre about a 10 minute walk. Sufficient free car parking. Room was a little tired but had a fridge and seating area. The problem was the very small bathroom and high bath to climb in for a shower. With the shower board it was a very tight space especially for myself with arthritis. Breakfast was ok but very busy..hotel was full due to footie match. Staff were very efficient. Bar very quiet in the evening. Lacked a bit of atmosphere but expect many guests went out..no dinner on offer but very good German bar a couple of minutes walk away.

Easy to find the hotel. Decent parking right out front. Helpful and pleasant reception staff who spoke English. Rooms are large and comfortable with coffee machine and bottled water. Good bar, superb beer and a good hot and cold breakfast. Not a holiday hotel but a great overnight rest in comfort.

Bequemes Bett, angenehme Klimatisierung, gutes Frühstück und ein toller Fitnessraum. Nicht so schon sind die notdürftig überrenovierten Badezimmer in denen die Duschabtrennung undicht ist (Wasserläuft überall ins Bad) und der offenbar über den ursprünglichen Boden drübergelegte PVC-Boden sich an diversen stellen hochwellt. Eine grundlegende Sanierung der Bäder wäre dem Preis angemessen.

The house keeping staff totalt failed by waiking is up just past 8 am by trying to enter our room while beeing asleap. Later tried agan, but totally failing to clearing the room for the entire day, despite the green sign hanging on the room door. Upon coming back to the Hotel quarter to midnight (finding the uncleared room), the night receptionist said “it’s not my fault” and “you should have asked for the room to be cleaned when leaving the hotel”. So more and less no responsibility was recognised and - cased closed. We again told about the details to the receptionist next morning, and finally someone showing some reaction to what happened - but no compensation was offered and no management present on a Sunday.

Die Zimmer sind laut, man hört jedes Wort auf dem Flur oder von den Nachbarzimmern. Genau wie die Hauptstraße vorm Haus, die nachts scheinbar zur Rennstrecke wird. Die Badezimmertür war uralt und so verzogen, dass sie sich nur ablehnen ließ. Möchte man sie ganz schließen, geht das nur mit Gewalt und viel Krach. Das Badezimmer war alt und schimmlig, im Zimmer roch es modrig. Ich kann nur abraten, selbst für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise.

Sehr gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich kompetent und hilfsbereit. Dies trifft auch auf das Zimmerreinigungspersonal zu. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig und gut ausgestattet, Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne nochmal wieder.

This is a very clean hotel with spacious and clean rooms. The rooms look modern. The staff are very friendly and helpful. the breakfast is also top and is nicely supplemented. There is also enough parking space at the hotel. Center is also close by. We will definitely come back! Great service!

1x und nie wieder. Hotelzimmer stank nach Kloake. Zimmereinrichtung war voller Staub. Auf den Bettlaken war ein gelber Fleck, keine Handseife. Ich war schon in vielen Hotels, aber das war eine Frechheit. Frühstück war ok, aber Erlebnis. Dame bei Ankunft war muffelig. Der Herr beim ausschecken war nett. Auch die Bedienung beim Frühstück.

Zentral gelegenes Business Hotel in MG. Wichtig: Zimmer nach hinten raus buchen wenn man lärmempfindlich ist, die Hauptstrasse ist stark befahren. Nach hinten heraus ist es komplett ruhig und man kann mit offenem Fenster schlafen. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut, nur der Kaffee ist schlecht, hier muss die Maschine mal von einem Kaffetrinker ordentlich eingestellt werden !!

Op de plaatjes is een mooie kamer te zien. De kamer die wij kregen leek daar niet op. Oude meubels, vlekken in de vloerbedekking enzzz. Het was erg warm op de kamer. De verwarming was niet uit te krijgen, dus dan maar de ramen open.

Das Hotel liegt gut. Zu Fuß ist man schnell in der Innenstadt. Das Zimmer war schön groß, aber man hätte ruhig noch einen zweiten Sessel hinstellen können. Das Zimmer - wir waren wohl im älteren Teil untergebracht - war sehr hellhörig und hatte - wie das Hotel auch - den Charme der 70iger Jahre. Das Personal an der Rezeption war absolute Spitzenklasse. Der Service beim Frühstück war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass die Tische neu eindeckt werden, ist klar, aber dass die Brötchenkrümmel einfach auf dem Boden landen und dort liegen bleiben, entspricht nicht einem 4-Sterne-Hotel. Der Aufzug hat ebenfalls den Charme der 70iger Jahre - was die Funktion betrifft, den Innenraum hat man versucht, aufzuhübschen. Auch das Personal der Bar war sehr gut. Schön wäre eine Auswahl an Sekt-Cocktails außer Aperol-Spritz und Hugo. Aber für einen Wochenendtrip ist das Hotel wirklich zu empfehlen.

After checking in and getting a room with a view across the park in front of the hotel a group gathered in the park and started playing some really loud music, the hotel reception staff immediately offered a different room at the other side of the hotel which although not having such a good view was lovely and quiet!! There was a good selection of bars and restaurants a short walk away.

The problem was the very small bathroom and high bath to climb in for a shower. With the shower board it was a very tight space especially for myself with arthritis. Breakfast was ok but very busy..hotel was full due to footie match. Staff were very efficient. Bar very quiet in the evening. The house keeping staff totalt failed by waiking is up just past 8 am by trying to enter our room while beeing asleap. Later tried agan, but totally failing to clearing the room for the entire day, despite the green sign hanging on the room door. Upon coming back to the Hotel quarter to midnight (finding the uncleared room), the night receptionist said “it’s not my fault” and “you should have asked for the room to be cleaned when leaving the hotel”. So more and less no responsibility was recognised and - cased closed. We again told about the details to the receptionist next morning, and finally someone showing some reaction to what happened - but no compensation was offered and no management present on a Sunday.

Sehr gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich kompetent und hilfsbereit. Dies trifft auch auf das Zimmerreinigungspersonal zu. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig und gut ausgestattet, Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne nochmal wieder.

Vi havde kun valgt dette sted pga deres el ladestander, da vi blot skulle bruge en enkel overnatning inden vi skulle køre videre hjem morgenen efter. Da vi kom frem fik vi dog af vide at deres ladestandere ikke virkede og den service vi blev mødt med var ekstrem dårlig. Begge receptionister vi mødte virkede sure, snoppede og uforskammede.

There was a good selection of bars and restaurants a short walk away.

Easy to find the hotel. Decent parking right out front. Helpful and pleasant reception staff who spoke English. Rooms are large and comfortable with coffee machine and bottled water. Good bar, superb beer and a good hot and cold breakfast. Not a holiday hotel but a great overnight rest in comfort.

1x und nie wieder. Hotelzimmer stank nach Kloake. Zimmereinrichtung war voller Staub. Auf den Bettlaken war ein gelber Fleck, keine Handseife. Ich war schon in vielen Hotels, aber das war eine Frechheit. Frühstück war ok, aber Erlebnis. Dame bei Ankunft war muffelig. Der Herr beim ausschecken war nett. Auch die Bedienung beim Frühstück.

Great location, 5-10mins wall into town, large church opposite. There’s water to help yourself to on arrival. Vending machine is very pricey! Rooms pleasant and clean. Can’t comment on food as didn’t eat there. Staff friendly.

Eine Nacht auf der Durchreise verbrachten wir hier. Das Hotel ist z.t. etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Fenster lassen den Straßenlärm ungefiltert durch. Lage sehr gut. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich.

Morgenbuffet am Samstag: zu wenig Personal. Die 2 anwesende haben sehr "gekämpft" um mitzuhalten ( abräumen, Buffet auffüllen usw.) Keine Kritik an denen. Aber eine dritte Hilfe hätte sehr geholfen die grosse Auslastung zu schaffen.

Prima hotel, boeken hing gemakkelijk online, vriendelijk personeel, schone kamer met heerlijke grote zachte handdoeken, badkamer niet de modernste maar alles werkte naar behoren. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, mega uitgebreid. Aanrader!

After booking I was sent stupid things like "bid in an auction for an upgrade" "join our club". I just want a hotel room!! On arrival, receptionist was lovely but didn't know how to check me in as she was new. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to a "cleaning service". I assumed having a room cleaned and turned down was what you get in a hotel! Parking was of course another extra. The room was OK, corridors stank of damp though. On check out 0630, no coffee available. All in all, a bit poor. The upside was a decent enough room (no iron, no hair dryer...) and the hotel was in walking distance of the old market area which has bars and restaurants. MG in general is a bit tatty nowadays which is a shame and the hotel is an example of that.

Bis auf Flecken auf dem Fußboden, die mal professionell beseitigt werden müssten, sehr sauberes Zimmer und gute Betten. Sitzplätze im Restaurant zu Anzahl der Gäste zum Frühstück passte nicht. Beim Frühstück dauerte es sehr lange, bis zusätzlicher Raum geöffnet wurde. Gäste gingen zunächst wieder und mussten sich zu Fremden setzen, was für beide Seiten nicht optimal war. Annehmlichkeiten wie kostenlosen Kaffee und auch Eis beim Warten auf Check-In sehr gut. Anreise vor 15:00 zwecklos, da bei allen wartenden Personen minutengenau auf die Check-in Zeit geachtet wurde, obwohl ich unterstelle, dass bereits einzelne Zimmer bezugsfertig waren. Auch wenn es draußen ist, Rauchen wurde im gesamten Außenbereich des Restaurants erlaubt bzw. geduldet. Für mich störend, wenn man vom Nebentisch vollgequalmt wird.
