The room was adequate and spacious but dated. The basin was terribly stained and awful. The restaurant was closed for a function and the advertised room service was also unavailable. We were not advised on checkin so had to make a quick change of plans. Only just got in somewhere before their kitchen closed.

This motel was a huge surprise. Someone has clearly given the amenities, rooms and services a lot of thought. It was comparable to a high end hotel. The rooms are very modern clean and well appointed. And the gym is actually far more well equipped than much pricier hotels in capital cities with hundreds of guests. Laundry and BBQ facilities were reliable and clean. Rarely have I been in a hotel or motel where I haven't seen something and thought "Yeah... alright but I would have done things differently" But here I have no notes. It was a delightful stay and regretably we were only there for one night. Would highly recommend it for anyone staying or travelling through Mount Gambier.

Our room at the Presidential was far beyond our expectations. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is next door to one of the best deli's, butcher, laundromat, hair dresser and Chemist King. Just past this is the Western Tavern. We would stay here again if wanting a bed for the night in Mt Gambier.

The property offers fantastic amenities, including a bar, restaurant, and even a convenient guest laundromat, making for a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this establishment and would like to commend the owners and staff for their outstanding hospitality and the pride they clearly take in maintaining the property. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to visiting again.
