Staff were exceptional. Keen to please and help you make the most of your stay. Great location we were upgraded and had a fabulous room with a lounge all over looking the sea. Hotel was very nice and the roof terrace and pool were lovely. Would recommend others to stay here

They really need to replenish new towels and provide basic amenities in the washrooms. The towels provided were threadbare and instead of being white, they were stained and clearly had outlasted their usage. Toilet paper was in short supply and had to be requested on several occasions. Our second stay - the bathroom smelled awfully stale Housekeeping was a struggle to contend with Phone service locally was a disaster - could not access a local call and was informed that I would receive a call back - no one called

Fruit flies when I checked in my room - took 4 days of pest control to clear it- Stayed here for 9 days.Did not provide an alternate similar accommodation when I requested to give me another room of similar category - I paid for partial sea view and was offered neighboring building view as an alternative , cheaper than what I prepaid - no privacy . Not even offered discount when asked for the inconvenience .Did not even apologize !!! Not worth the price charged.

We loved stayed at the Marine Plaza, we had a sea view room with an outstanding view of Marine Drive and the Mumbai sunsets. Rooms were clean, staff frieand helpful and the food was lovely. Ubers were very easy to get directly outside the hotel but also walkable to the Gateway of India.

For how much this place costs, I was utterly disappointed. The bathroom smelled like urine, was old, not updated and the shower cold faucet was broken. The room itself was okay but every part of this hotel except the lobby needed updates. The breakfast buffet was also gross- the food looked old and stale. I would never stay here again. The surrounding area also smelled of sewage and feces so going for a walk was not enjoyable.

Bel emplacement. Personnel aux petit soins. Les chambres sont confortables mais un peu bruyantes surtout pour les plus chers c’est à dire celles qui ont vue sur mer. Dans l’ensemble l’hôtel a besoin d’un petit raffraichissement.

Stayed for one night. Quick and seamless check in, with friendly staff. We went to our room expecting bags to be brought up, but although it was only a few minutes they hadn’t arrived I chose to go back down and get them. No real issue, just mentioning. Room was great with a nice sea view, and breakfast was lovely. All in all this was a very nice hotel and worth staying in to walk to the Colaba area to sightsee

No WiFi on the wing I stayed the last night. Employees can’t communicate in english(housekeeping) i requested for laundry for a sweater as I bought it and I wanted to wear it the next day when flying out and the lady took it and the next day I am calling to ask for it they told me is not washed. Until in the evening. I asked why no one told me that? They said housekeeping people can’t communicate in English🤔🤔🤔 They returned my sweater unwashed.

We were initially given a room on the top floor that had a side access door .. although it was locked I didn't feel good about it and asked for a change in room. The window pane of that room was also cracked.. They then put me to a different room one level down but it was not a non-smoking room but I could live with that than stay in a room that had side access door. The place was safe, we were screened by security staff everytime we entered the hotel which was good.

This was one of the best hotels i have stayed at in India. It’s literally on marine drive. It is one of the classic old school hotels to stay at. Looking at from outside its rather quite inconspicuous but this is one of the most famous hotels. One can’t find a better located hotel than this in mumbai. The rooms are a bit cramped yes, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Staff at the reception and the in house dining is quite nice as well. The breakfast spread had a number of options and tasted delicious.

Staff overcharged and underdelivered. Made me change rooms to downgraded rooms for multiple times. I requested and paid for late checkout but they claimed that I agreed for downgraded room the night before checkout. Did not make sense to pay for upgrade and they shift to different room and twin bed instead of paid double bed. WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE WVER AGAIN

Employees can’t communicate in english(housekeeping) i requested for laundry for a sweater as I bought it and I wanted to wear it the next day when flying out and the lady took it and the next day I am calling to ask for it they told me is not washed. Until in the evening. I asked why no one told me that? They said housekeeping people can’t communicate in English🤔🤔🤔 They returned my sweater unwashed.

The staff were above excellent and the service was really great. There was nothing that was difficult for them. The breakfast service was awesome and the food choices varied and fresh.

Stayed for one night. Quick and seamless check in, with friendly staff. We went to our room expecting bags to be brought up, but although it was only a few minutes they hadn’t arrived I chose to go back down and get them. No real issue, just mentioning. Room was great with a nice sea view, and breakfast was lovely. All in all this was a very nice hotel and worth staying in to walk to the Colaba area to sightsee

The main reason to recommend this place its the location which was adjacent to all the historical and touristic places alongside with super friendly and helpful staff. They even called us a guy to exchange our dollars in the hotel with a great rate and where helpful in every aspect totally recommended

Great location, walkable to Colaba and tourist sites but liked that the neighborhood was quieter. Great view of the sea and beautiful walking path along the water. Friendly helpful staff made it great! Highly recommend!

This was one of the best hotels i have stayed at in India. It’s literally on marine drive. It is one of the classic old school hotels to stay at. Looking at from outside its rather quite inconspicuous but this is one of the most famous hotels. One can’t find a better located hotel than this in mumbai. The rooms are a bit cramped yes, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Staff at the reception and the in house dining is quite nice as well. The breakfast spread had a number of options and tasted delicious.

We loved stayed at the Marine Plaza, we had a sea view room with an outstanding view of Marine Drive and the Mumbai sunsets. Rooms were clean, staff frieand helpful and the food was lovely. Ubers were very easy to get directly outside the hotel but also walkable to the Gateway of India.

We had great service and an enjoyable experience during our stay. The only complaint the entire stay is that dinner at the restaurant took much longer than expected. Otherwise, the staff was very accommodating and helpful and the stay was comfortable.

Les chambre sont vieillotte et mal nettoyées. Les chambres côtés les sont les plus chères mais aussi les plus bruyantes. Le personnel est compétant et aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner manque de diversité. La situation de l’hôtel est parfaite avec un environnement très vivant.

For how much this place costs, I was utterly disappointed. The bathroom smelled like urine, was old, not updated and the shower cold faucet was broken. The room itself was okay but every part of this hotel except the lobby needed updates. The breakfast buffet was also gross- the food looked old and stale. I would never stay here again. The surrounding area also smelled of sewage and feces so going for a walk was not enjoyable.

The room was nice, a little out dated but clean. We got a partial sea view which was lovely. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from and had some cook to order food items. The bar had a happy hour. However there was only one beer included in the offer, which was more expensive beer, Carlsburg Elephant. During our stay, there was a film being filmed on the roof terrace, where the pool was. We were not told about this, and our room was right below, so every night (6 nights) you could hear banging, people walking and loud music, sometimes into the early hours. We did not want to move as we had a lovey view. When we went to the pool the whole area had not been cleaned up from the film shoot, there was something in the jacuzzi so could not use that all week, there were no sun loungers so had to get some chairs to put by the pool, and no towels, so had to ask for these to be brought up. Not the service you expect. We were paying customers so expected to be able to use all facilities, and was disappointed that the pool and terrace area was not fully available to its guests. We chose the hotel for the pool and terrace where we could have a meal on, Having a film shoot on the roof spoilt our first experience in India,
