Holiday Inn Munich City Centre by IHG

Hôtel bien situé à 10 minutes à pied du centre. Ne pas payer le supplément pour la chambre avec vue en dessous du 6ème étage car mis à part la toiture en face il n'y a pratiquement pas de vue Petit déjeuner très cher et de mauvaise qualité. Personnel impoli et peu sympathique. Chambre peu confortable avec chauffage ne fonctionnant pas et pas de pression dans la douche. Pour le parking il faut vous rendre à la station-service à côté pour acheter un pass vous permettant de rentrer et sortir à votre guise. Le personnel incompétent est incapable de vous conseiller sur ce point

Une partie du petsonnel a été accueillante et a repondu à nos questions, hôtel situé assez loin du centre historique même si une station S-ban est à 5mn. Bonne insonorisation des chambres, petit déjeuner continental avec pains et bretzel rassis

I would definitely recommend this Hotel. Coming from the US, Holiday Inn is viewed as a mid-grade Hotel chain that used to be a leader but no longer is. That is not the case in European countries. Breakfast was nothing short of awesome, way beyond and US located chain hotel. Standard Service's, checking in and out was fine but ask for a concierge and you are on your own. As for help understanding transportation via train, bus etc and you quickly realize the attitude is "not my job, go away".

This Holiday Inn was conveniently located and had many upgrades to make it a modern hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was bilingual and efficient. The desk was always busy and fast-paced, so we did not ask for extra help or information as to not impose. The breakfast was ample with many choices and plenty of seating. Parking is beneath the hotel. Spaces are tight, but there is reasonable parking available. The hotel is very walkable (15-20 minutes) to Marienplatz and the associated area. Once you are parked, there is little reason to move your vehicle with the walkability and public transportation considered. Busy hotel, but understandable as to why. We would return here!
