Really warm welcome. Room was wonderful, warm and modern. Loved the toiletries and shower. Was great having coffee machine outside the room. Spa and pool nice bonus. Will definitely stay again

The hotel was clean and the decor was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy and spacious, well furnished. The only thing I noticed was a hole in the window and some of the outside window sills had paint peeling off. The leasure facilities were small but very usable. The food was very good quality and great value. The overall stay was excellent value.

Check in was a breeze despite there being a wedding on a Sunday evening. First impressions of the grand old building are great; the rooms in the annex (I was in 136) are not quite so impressive but functional. Bar and food are all good quality if not a little overpriced (standard for a hotel). The gym and leisure facilities are a nice extra. Gym is small, pool you can swim about 5 strokes per length but it’s ok, and jacuzzi is fine for about 3 people. The room I stayed in was a little tired, with no aircon or fan on offer - so had to go to reception after which one was delivered after about 2-3 hours. The room was refreshed daily (not fully cleaned) which is fine. Changing rooms in the leisure facilities are also tired with only 1 of 2 showers working properly, and neither heat adjustable so pretty hot!

The room was lovely spacious and clean. There a lot of steps going up and down to get around inside the hotel. Not good with my bad hips. There were a few parties on and not enough staff all used the one bar, and as paying guests there should have been another way to make sure we were served first. That was a bit annoying to br fair, the food was ok we had the curry but was more like tomato soup with chicken. Drinks were very expensive but suppose it’s a hotel. Staff well some were friendly but most weren’t no good morning or hello from them at all. The pool is nice small but was only me and husband in it for a bit so that was ok. It is a lovely place and a lovely two day stay for us

Comfortable bed. Some areas were a little tired but there are clearly upgrades happening. Reception was busy and staff running it were good but very busy! Breakfast was excellent - great choice. Dinner lovely but service poor. Pool and gym were tired but all usable.

The staff in this hotel are very friendly and helpful and helped to make this an enjoyable trip. The check-in was efficient and the restaurant, especially the bar, was a really nice space with nice decor and lots of light. I ate a delicious breakfast, salad for lunch and a delightful meal in the restaurant. Good vegetarian and vegan choices if required and clearly seen on the menus. The grounds are pretty and the location is easy to find. There is an old disused railway track that provides a nice walk and ends up at a really nice pub. We were allowed to leave one of our vehicles after check out in the carpark (which we very much appreciated) whilst we drove to Pitsford Reservoir which is a circular walk about 9km and very beautiful. Polite suggestions: My bedroom seemed a little tired and dark as the furnishings weren’t very inspiring. I moved the recycling bin and behind that was thick dust - perhaps remember that guests DO move things! My bath wasn’t immaculately clean either. The website mentions a wellness walk within the acres of grounds but the walk around the grounds took 5 minutes so the marketing team need to change this false information from the site. There are however lovely walks nearby.

Two night stay in a beautifully set property in a convenient location for visiting family in Brixworth, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. An initial problem with a filthy toilet in our room, (which was sorted on request), disturbed night due to extractor noise, faulty shower screen which caused a massive puddle on the bathroom floor, all of which were a shame as they detracted from what would have been a lovelier stay. Staff encountered on reception, in the bar and in the breakfast room were all friendly, helpful and professional, and the hotel and grounds seemed well maintained overall. We would visit again but hope for a better result.

Hotel looks like it has had a recent refurbishment however; toilet cistern ran water all night, mold around the bath and shower head broken, could not shower properly. Did raise with reception in the morning (did not notice until the night for the toilet and going for a shower in the morning). Had an apology but no reduction on the room cost

Nice location, rooms were comfortable had a great night's sleep. Some parts of the property were a bit run down and in need of maintenance, didn't effect my stay though. Breakfast was good with a wide range to suit all.

Had a great stay, staff really friendly. The room, mattress and pillow were good! Best pillow I have had ever in a hotel infact. Very dog accommodating, good food, great grounds to walk the dog and nearby walks too. Good pub just down the road to interchange if there for a few nights. Only issue for me was an outdated hairdryer which was reported.

Lovely friendly welcome when checking in and staff in the restaurant were also cheerful and friendly. The rooms are a little tired but they were clean and a good size. Couple of not so good, no air conditioning, a fan was provided but unfortunately it wasn’t much use. The doors to the rooms aren't soft closing so there is constant banging when people enter/leave rooms. Nice grounds and close to a lovely walk along a disused railway.

The staff in this hotel are very friendly and helpful and helped to make this an enjoyable trip. The check-in was efficient and the restaurant, especially the bar, was a really nice space with nice decor and lots of light. I ate a delicious breakfast, salad for lunch and a delightful meal in the restaurant. Good vegetarian and vegan choices if required and clearly seen on the menus. The grounds are pretty and the location is easy to find. There is an old disused railway track that provides a nice walk and ends up at a really nice pub. We were allowed to leave one of our vehicles after check out in the carpark (which we very much appreciated) whilst we drove to Pitsford Reservoir which is a circular walk about 9km and very beautiful. Polite suggestions: My bedroom seemed a little tired and dark as the furnishings weren’t very inspiring. I moved the recycling bin and behind that was thick dust - perhaps remember that guests DO move things! My bath wasn’t immaculately clean either. The website mentions a wellness walk within the acres of grounds but the walk around the grounds took 5 minutes so the marketing team need to change this false information from the site. There are however lovely walks nearby.

Had a great meal in the bar area. The staff were very friendly. The room looked as though it had been recently renovated. It was comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend and also stay there again.

The hotel was OK but the parking was a long way from the reception. Better signage would have improved this directing cars to drop luggage off before parking. Check in took half an hour due to 1 over whelmed person on reception I was tenth in the queue in reception. Room was nothing special, the building is just a very large motel . Largr free parking that was almost fuĺl. Fre .built next to an old house.

Nice place. Lovely surroundings 2nd visit within three weeks. Enjoyed the bar, lounge, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was an issue as the hotel was full and they ran out very quickly without adequate topping up. Perhaps under staffed this weekend.? But nevertheless we had a great stay.

Give us a room card send us to a room that somebody else already occupied. Try again sent it to another room which meant to be a superior double room and you got dressing gowns and water when you’ve got none of that the restaurant we waited an hour for our dinner come out cold went back into the kitchen to be warmed up and it was still the same as it came out. I don’t think I’ll ever stop there again. Manager was meant to call at half past one this afternoon still not heard from him. It’s a shambles. reception I met two of them and they were both newbies and didn’t really have a clue what they were doing.

The room was lovely spacious and clean. There a lot of steps going up and down to get around inside the hotel. Not good with my bad hips. There were a few parties on and not enough staff all used the one bar, and as paying guests there should have been another way to make sure we were served first. That was a bit annoying to br fair, the food was ok we had the curry but was more like tomato soup with chicken. Drinks were very expensive but suppose it’s a hotel. Staff well some were friendly but most weren’t no good morning or hello from them at all. The pool is nice small but was only me and husband in it for a bit so that was ok. It is a lovely place and a lovely two day stay for us

Comfortable bed. Some areas were a little tired but there are clearly upgrades happening. Reception was busy and staff running it were good but very busy! Breakfast was excellent - great choice. Dinner lovely but service poor. Pool and gym were tired but all usable.

The original building has been extended to give plenty of modern, low-rise accommodation. Worth noting that there are several small flights of steps along the corridors but let the hotel know about any mobility problems and they will be addressed. We had probably the longest walk to our room (208) but the room was very comfortable and the temperature was just right. The windows seem to be a bit small, making the room darker than ideal. The gym was small but functional with mainly Technogym equipment. The lockers in the changing rooms use a PIN that you devise (so make sure that you don't forget it!). The swimming pool is small. We had dinner in the restaurant - well cooked and tasty, as well as convenient. The breakfast (included in our deal) was reasonable but could provide more fresh fruit. All in all, a very comfortable stay just outside Northampton - recommended!

Lovely staff on Reception. Very helpful. Great pub a short walk away - Brampton Halt - and The Spencer Arms is a five minute drive from Sedgebrook Hall. Breakfast was amazing too with a cooked option, fruit, yoghurt, porridge, toast, coffee and so much more.

Check in was quick and easy. Reception directed me to a side door to save walking all through the hotel. No issues with that but the door to gain entry was very hard to open. Had a code but someone had to help to get in as the door was very stiff and hard to open. Room, even though radiator was on full, was cold. No radiator in bathroom so the one radiator in the bedroom had to cover all. 4 small pots of milk, only lasted 2 cups of tea so could have done with more. Bed very comfortable but as room was generally cold, not enough covers and no spare in cupboards. Lovely surroundings, main building lovely

Average hotel at a fair price. Corridors were dusty and bathrooms look dirty / worn. Breakfast had a very good selection, although the food was average and not very warm. Would stay again if price was as reasonable.

Nice location, rooms were comfortable had a great night's sleep. Some parts of the property were a bit run down and in need of maintenance, didn't effect my stay though. Breakfast was good with a wide range to suit all.

The hotel was clean and the decor was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy and spacious, well furnished. The only thing I noticed was a hole in the window and some of the outside window sills had paint peeling off. The leasure facilities were small but very usable. The food was very good quality and great value. The overall stay was excellent value.

Was very disappointed with this hotel. The majority of staff are very young and clearly have no idea of customer service, although the reception staff were very good. We decided to have breakfast and having paid £33.00 for the privilege, I would have thought there would have been plenty of choice. They had no fried or scrambled eggs and when I asked for some I was told by the scruffiest person I had ever met working in a restaurant that service was nearly over, (it was only 9:30) so there may not be any more eggs. There was eggs and it was more of a case that he wanted to stand around and chat with the other youngsters in the restaurant. If you do stay here, avoid the breakfast, it’s very poor value. The room depressing and had an unpleasant smell.

The hotel pictures are very misleading and deceiving making it look like you’re staying in a country manor but in reality you’re in equivalent of a travel lodge next to Sedgebrook Hall. There is only ONE room in Sedgebrook hall which is the honeymoon suite for anyone having a wedding there! We had to change rooms (staff were helpful with this) our first room was noisy and hadn’t been cleaned properly with spiders and cobwebs everywhere and even rubbish on the bathroom floor. The safe in the room also did not work and there is no air conditioning in this hotel (not good for a summer stay!). The swimming pool is cold and very small as well as very packed and non of the lockers work. It also didn’t look as clean as it should do with a dirty plaster on the side of the pool! The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good but quite pricy (£25 for two). In all honesty our experience was ok but I have stayed in better Premier Inns and routing stay here again which is a shame. I think the pictures of this place need to be changed to show the building where you actually stay.

The swimming pool is cold and very small as well as very packed and non of the lockers work. It also didn’t look as clean as it should do with a dirty plaster on the side of the pool! The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good but quite pricy (£25 for two). In all honesty our experience was ok but I have stayed in better Premier Inns and routing stay here again which is a shame. I think the pictures of this place need to be changed to show the building where you actually stay.

The room was nice but unfortunately no a/c or fan which was desperately needed in the current condition. We asked for a fan but didn’t get one. The shower is ridiculous boiling hot one minute freezing cold the next & the noise it made was horrendous! Beds ok but not as comfortable as Premier Inn beds. Lovely location if you have a car & the breakfast was good. Would i choose to stay here again, probably not!
