This is a lovely, modern hotel within walking distance of Sterkrade and it's shopping centre & facilities. It has a very clean/fresh feel, the staff are lovely, the beds comfortable and the garden/patio area is fab. Prices are decent, too :-) I came to Oberhausen to visit family so I did not have the need to use the restaurant but again, it looks great. There is a reasonably sized hotel car par but in the week I was there I only managed to get a space once. Free public car park opposite the hotel & free street parking filled the gap. Oberhausen is my home town and I will certainly be visiting again in future. This hotel will be my number one choice.

Das Hotel ist meist meine erste Wahl bei einem Aufenthalt in der Region. Leider hat es bei diesem Besuch im Hotelzimmer unangenehm stark nach einem billigen Reinigungsmittel gerochen. Check in war unkompliziert und freundlich. Frühstück ist okay. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Parkplätze waren komplett belegt, aber man kann auch noch bequem in der Umgebung kostenlos parken.

The hotel is in an amazing location - with Centro Promenade (loads of places to eat and a fab arcade) about a 10 minute drive away. The hotel itself and the reception staff are great and there are two restaurants and a pub attached to the hotel too. Two negatives: 1. Not enough parking for a hotel this size. 2. The housekeeper/cleaner on our floor was very rude when asked a simple question. Overall though, really enjoyed our stay here.

Im Parkhotel fühlt man sich sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Bett war herrlich bequem mit wunderbarem riesigen Oberbett. Alleine perfekt, zu zweit mag ich kein Gezerre um die Decke, da würde ich zwei bevorzugen. Fenster sehr gut isoliert und mit Rolladen versehen. Die Schiebe-Paneele rundeten das ganz harmonisch ab. Direkt vorm Hotel eine Bushaltestelle, so kommt man vom Sterkrader Bahnhof bequem hierher. Auf Bestellung gibt’s sogar einen kostenlosen Shuttle-Service zum Centro (und glaube, Movie Park?). Es gibt einen sehr ansprechenden Frühstücksraum mit einer sehr guten Auswahl. Alles sehr schmackhaft. Ein ganz besonderes Lob muss ich den Hotelmitarbeiter:innen aussprechen. Sie waren ausnahmslos absolut freundlich und service- u. lösungsorientiert. Fazit: Wenn Oberhausen, dann das Parkhotel.

Vi valgte dette hotel pga. sauna og så virkede saunaen ikke. Vi lavede en del vrøvl og det endte med at den fungerede kl. 21.15 inden den lukkede kl. 22. Der var ikke restaurant på hotellet og i byen var der kun en restaurant med burger og salat 🙄

Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Parkplatz zu klein. Auf dem gegenüberliegenden öffentlichen Parkplatz grade noch was für die Nacht gefunden.

Wir waren schon das dritte Mal im Parkhotel, wie immer hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Einen Abend verbrachten wir in der Kneipe, Essen sehr reichlich und lecker. Wenn es die Zeit erfordert würden wir wieder sehr gerne als Gast einchecken.

Séjour en famille dans cet hôtel dans lequel nous étions déjà venus plusieurs fois il y a quelques années. Nous en sommes toujours aussi satisfaits. Chambres calmes, spacieuses avec une belle salle de bain (douche + bain à remous) et des volets électriques. Petit déjeuner copieux. Il y a même un sauna et un spa. Idéalement situé proche du CentrO, de plusieurs parcs d'attractions, du gazomètre.. possibilité de s'y rendre via la navette gratuite de l'hôtel. belles balades à pied possible, et nombreux bons restaurants à quelques minutes à pied de l'hôtel.

Die Zimmer sind schon sehr abgewohnt und schmutzig. Die Sockelleiste im Zimmer 134 beim Fenster extrem. Auch der Duschkopf ist sehr dreckig und eckelig. Ich werde nicht mehr kommen. Aber der Eingangsbereich ist relativ neu und etwas schicker gemacht.

Mehr Schein als Sein. Das gebuchte EZ war im Bad nicht ordentlich sauber, diverse Haare von vorherigen Gästen. Keine Ersatzrolle Toilettenpapier, Hygienebags leer. Die Duschkabine verkalkt und rostig, bedarf einer Renovierung. Schiefe Bilder an der Wand, ausgefranzter Teppich, Kabel hängen unter dem TV hervor. Das kann man auch ordentlicher präsentieren. Gratis Wasserflasche im Zimmer unversiegelt. Instantkaffee mit Wasserkocher. Ein Ausschlafen am WE aufgrund vieler lauter Kinder im Gang nicht möglich. Laut wegen stark befahrener Straße.

Von außen und die öffentlichen Einrichtungen machen einen guten Eindruck. Die Zimmereinrichtung war allerdings sehr altbacken und der Teppich war in unserem Zimmer sehr schmutzig. Bei Abfahrt schauen wir auch immer unter die Betten, ob wir was vergessen haben - ich sag nur, wir hatten nichts vergessen. Das Frühstück war für den Preis gut.

Room was not thoroughly cleaned. We found dust on the table and others areas. Refreshments left in the room without explanation that you will be charged if consumed. This was very wrong and should have been told the moment we check in.

The carpet in the hallways and in our room was very dirty. While I was taking a shower I saw things floating in the water. I realized that it was scum coming up from all of the grout lines in the shower. I had to take the sprayer and a towel to clean our shower as it appeared that it barely cleaned between guests. Dinner at the restaurant was very good and our waitress was the best! The front desk was very helpful.

Es war unter dem Zimmer eine Kneipe, die Gäste hat man bis weit in die Nacht hinein gehört. Das hat vorallem genervt, weil die Kinder dadurch nicht schlafen konnten.

Das Hotel ist ok, es befindet sich jedoch eine Kneipe und irgendein Festsaal im Erdgeschoss. Als wir am Wochenende da waren, war es bis tiwf in die Nacht sehr laut und die Musik hat gedrönt. Auch die übrige schallisolierung im Hotel ist nicht dem 4-Sterne -Hotel entsprechend. Sonst alles in Ordnung

Hotel excelente. A hospedagem oferece uma experíência de acomodação e conforto que tem sido extinta na hotelaria européia de custo razoável. O café da manhã é vasto, com muitas opções de alimentos, inclusive, itens regionais como as famosas salsichas alemãs. O quarto é amplo, assim como o banheiro que tem um chuveiro ótimo. A cama é confortável, as instalações são limpas e o staff é educado e disposto à ajudar. Completam a experiência o estacionamento gratuíto e a garrafa de água de cortesia.

Clean as expected for this price. Practical free parking. However, air condition was on and extremely high so we stopped it. It was then impossible to restart it when we needed it later.

Het was ontzettend warm op de kamer en in het hele gebouw. Zelfs met het raam open en alle radiatoren uit was het veel te warm om goed te kunnen slapen en de airconditioning deed het niet. Ik had het gevoel in een slowcooker te slapen.

Personal sehr nett und freundlich. Zimmer mit Kühlschrank. Schöne große Dusche. Schreibtisch für Laoptop Arbeit okay. Fernseher etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Klima Anlage ohne Funktion.

Séjour en famille dans cet hôtel dans lequel nous étions déjà venus plusieurs fois il y a quelques années. Nous en sommes toujours aussi satisfaits. Chambres calmes, spacieuses avec une belle salle de bain (douche + bain à remous) et des volets électriques. Petit déjeuner copieux. Il y a même un sauna et un spa. Idéalement situé proche du CentrO, de plusieurs parcs d'attractions, du gazomètre.. possibilité de s'y rendre via la navette gratuite de l'hôtel. belles balades à pied possible, et nombreux bons restaurants à quelques minutes à pied de l'hôtel.

Great value for money. We got a family room with good space and very comfortable beds. Breakfast room was light, airy and with a green planted terrace. We enjoyed our continental breakfast. Staff members were very friendly and polite. Parking is right by the hotel.

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en zorgden voor een fijne service. Wij hadden eigenlijk familie kamer geboekt maar, kregen Junior Suite kamer omdat de familiekamers vol waren. Ik ga zeker nog een keer terugkomen bij deze hotel!

Parkering - IKKE godt .. havde vi ikke kørt en hybrid og kunne tage den ene plads som var tilbage på en ladeplads så havde vi kørt i 7,5 time uden at kunne stille bilen. Receptionisten kunne ikke have været mere ligeglad. Gav os først en pris på 10 euro for ladning men da der så skulle betales var prisen 16 euro. Prøvede at tage betaling for værelse igen selvom jeg viste kvittering for betaling hjemmefra .. det var et mega dårligt indtryk. Værelse ok men så heller ikke mere - de 4 stjerner gemmer sig nok i fællesområder spa osv. ok søvn. Morgenmad fin - masser forskelligt - meget høfligt personale og rent og pænt … ville jeg komme igen? Nej …

Das Hotel ist meist meine erste Wahl bei einem Aufenthalt in der Region. Leider hat es bei diesem Besuch im Hotelzimmer unangenehm stark nach einem billigen Reinigungsmittel gerochen. Check in war unkompliziert und freundlich. Frühstück ist okay. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Parkplätze waren komplett belegt, aber man kann auch noch bequem in der Umgebung kostenlos parken.

The hotel is in an amazing location - with Centro Promenade (loads of places to eat and a fab arcade) about a 10 minute drive away. The hotel itself and the reception staff are great and there are two restaurants and a pub attached to the hotel too. Two negatives: 1. Not enough parking for a hotel this size. 2. The housekeeper/cleaner on our floor was very rude when asked a simple question. Overall though, really enjoyed our stay here.

Im Parkhotel fühlt man sich sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Bett war herrlich bequem mit wunderbarem riesigen Oberbett. Alleine perfekt, zu zweit mag ich kein Gezerre um die Decke, da würde ich zwei bevorzugen. Fenster sehr gut isoliert und mit Rolladen versehen. Die Schiebe-Paneele rundeten das ganz harmonisch ab. Direkt vorm Hotel eine Bushaltestelle, so kommt man vom Sterkrader Bahnhof bequem hierher. Auf Bestellung gibt’s sogar einen kostenlosen Shuttle-Service zum Centro (und glaube, Movie Park?). Es gibt einen sehr ansprechenden Frühstücksraum mit einer sehr guten Auswahl. Alles sehr schmackhaft. Ein ganz besonderes Lob muss ich den Hotelmitarbeiter:innen aussprechen. Sie waren ausnahmslos absolut freundlich und service- u. lösungsorientiert. Fazit: Wenn Oberhausen, dann das Parkhotel.

This is a lovely, modern hotel within walking distance of Sterkrade and it's shopping centre & facilities. It has a very clean/fresh feel, the staff are lovely, the beds comfortable and the garden/patio area is fab. Prices are decent, too :-) I came to Oberhausen to visit family so I did not have the need to use the restaurant but again, it looks great. There is a reasonably sized hotel car par but in the week I was there I only managed to get a space once. Free public car park opposite the hotel & free street parking filled the gap. Oberhausen is my home town and I will certainly be visiting again in future. This hotel will be my number one choice.

We are a family of four with a dog and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was nice and comfortable, the bath was huge which made it easier to bathe our kids, the dog stayed for free, the parking was free, and the breakfast was wonderful and at a good price. To top it off, the hotel is beautiful. The surrounding area doesn’t match its elegance, but that just makes it a diamond in the rough (but not that rough).

Das liegt außerhalb des Zentrum ,trotzdem ist man im wenigen Minuten in der Stadtzetrum wo befinden sich sehr schöne Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und für Touristen ist auch was da wie zum Beispiel Gasometer usw…. Die Zimmer sind groß,sauber und modern,es steht sogar eine Sauna zu Verfügung was wir richtig toll fanden.Das Personal des Hotel ist sehr zukommend und sehr freundlich.die Speisekarte in Restaurants ist auch sehr attraktiv und das essen sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet! Wir werden auf jeden Fall das Hotel weiter empfehlen,und kommen bald wieder!!! Vielen lieben Dank an das ganze Team!!!!

Hotel excelente. A hospedagem oferece uma experíência de acomodação e conforto que tem sido extinta na hotelaria européia de custo razoável. O café da manhã é vasto, com muitas opções de alimentos, inclusive, itens regionais como as famosas salsichas alemãs. O quarto é amplo, assim como o banheiro que tem um chuveiro ótimo. A cama é confortável, as instalações são limpas e o staff é educado e disposto à ajudar. Completam a experiência o estacionamento gratuíto e a garrafa de água de cortesia.

The carpet in the hallways and in our room was very dirty. While I was taking a shower I saw things floating in the water. I realized that it was scum coming up from all of the grout lines in the shower. I had to take the sprayer and a towel to clean our shower as it appeared that it barely cleaned between guests. Dinner at the restaurant was very good and our waitress was the best! The front desk was very helpful.

Wir waren schon das dritte Mal im Parkhotel, wie immer hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Einen Abend verbrachten wir in der Kneipe, Essen sehr reichlich und lecker. Wenn es die Zeit erfordert würden wir wieder sehr gerne als Gast einchecken.

Pleasant hotel overall, but check-in is not open until 1600, which, in truth, is later than any other hotel I stayed at. The room was cool and well appointed, but the shaving mirror was broken so would not adjust properly, the lavatory seat was loose, the shower was over the bath (we should be getting over this compromise in better hotels by now) and the bathroom overall needed some little refurbishment. The toilet paper holder was, weirdly, under one's right armpit when seated, and almost impossible to use without significant contortions. The sauna was very good, however, and there was a good breakfast spread, but a large bottle of water (2.0 Euros in a shop) was 7.50 Euros in the hotel, which has to be somewhat excessive as a profit margin. I would stay there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice, in all truth.
