What an amazing place, customer service was brilliant and the whole team were outstanding. They were polite, professional and always available. The hotel itself was beautiful and the courtyard where you could have meals or drinks was magical. Great location and even managed to park the car which in Oxford is gold dust. We stayed in a deluxe room which was beautiful and comfy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

The staff were so helpful and polite nothing was too much trouble. The patio area was quiet and inviting with lots of local people popping in for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyable stay will definately be re visiting

Very small room for the price and the queen Bed was the size of uUS double bed - very small. The room just about only fit the bed and a tiny bit extra space. Very expensive for $450 a night. Also I consistently feel like booking through Expedia in Europe you get the worst rooms.

Enjoyed the hotel but deeply unhappy to find an extra cost applied to our bill as a tip for the cleaning staff. We were not asked about this and therefore had to make extra effort to have it removed. Don’t like hidden costs so will stay elsewhere when next in Oxford.

Overall a good stay which is a 4 out of 5.

This was out first trip to visit Oxford. Staying at the Old Parsonage Hotel enhanced this with their convenience, comfort, and suggestions. The Hotel was, as described on the website. It is comfortable, good rooms, and fine location. The food for breakfast and dinner was prepared to order and of good quality. While the hotel staff were friendly and genuinely helpful, they could have benefitted from more training specific to the area, and some of the services available at the hotel. Overall a good stay which is a 4 out of 5.

I have only 1 inconvenient thing, took to long to get a cup of coffee at breakfast. Even longer, almost 10 minutes for a second cup.

Great place to stay. Lots of thoughtful touches. Restaurant is very good and popular. Easy walking distance to everything. Comfortable rooms and beds. Lots of stairs.

Superb hotel in a fantastic location. Linked restaurants at Gee’s and Quod also worth visiting. Staff particularly good. And parking included. Price reflects all that of course.

Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We had a 3 night winter stay that was delightful from breakfast through to dinner. The food, charming interiors and staff were all excellent, fabulous memories for us.

A generally good experience but being charged £15 for cleaning our room on a single night stay that cost over £400 was a bit of a shock!

The hotel was delightful. It was tastefully furnished and exceptionally cosy, especially given the cold weather. The dining room was beautiful with the walls covered in interesting art with comfortable seating and well spaced tables. Our room was smaller than the photos imply but the bed and furnishings were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Everything was impeccably clean every day of our 4 night stay with free water and home made biscuits delivered to our room every evening. The staff are exceptional from the chamber maids to the Restaurant and Reception. Everyone was very helpful. Breakfast is expensive at 30 pounds, but the Continental breakfast is a bargain. One issue might be the lack of an elevator, as the stairs to the rooms are a stone spiral staircase, but the staff delivers and picks up your luggage. There is a lovely large terrace in front of this picturesque hotel which was covered in wisteria during our stay, where you can have afternoon tea, cocktails and dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel, even though it is pricey, it is worth the splurge.

The Old Parsonage is a discrete, well-looked-after and very special hotel in a beautifully renovated ancient building. It is full of character and excellently located for visits to colleges / central Oxford. The staff are well trained but also very personable. The food (both breakfast and other meals) in the Michelin-starred restaurant is outstanding. This was our second stay and we will definitely come again.
