It is a nice property to stay. We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is conveniently located with Lipanska tram station just 3 mins walking. As Prague transportation is really good, we had no issues commuting to and from from the hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and cosy. All facilities were available. There is lift in the hotel. The hotel switches off the AC during winters so to make the room ventilated, we suggest to open windows for some time so that everybody can sleep comfortably. Towels provided were clean and washroom was also clean. Breakfast options were limited. With just a few meat and cheese options, no particular changes were there for 3 days we had breakfast there. I would suggest the hotel to add options to their breakfast spread. We had literally just eggs and bread on the 4rd day as there was no variety. Overall a good place to stay. Would love to stay here again if needed.

We truly like staying at Hotel Carlton, the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is good and filling, The tram is right there for you to ride downtown, or anywhere you would like to go, or just walk around the hotel area. There is a market right across the street that we like, and you can get your laundry done within 24 hours for a great price. I highly recommend staying here.

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Das Personal hat uns sehr gut gefallen, der Service hat überall gestimmt, egal ob am Empfang, beim Room-Service oder beim Frühstücksbuffet. Auch die E-Mail-Kommunikation im Vorfeld, bezgl. Parkmöglichkeiten bei Anreise mit Pkw, war zielführend - wir haben unkompliziert eine Garage in der Nähe gefunden. Das Frühstück hat uns ganz besonders toll gefallen, hat unseren Geschmack voll getroffen. Gleich schräg gegenüber vom Hotel ist ein großer Supermarkt, dies war durchaus auch sehr praktisch. Das Carlton ist unserer Meinung nach für einen Pärchen-Urlaub in Prag sehr gut geeignet.

We had a suite and it was very spacious for two people. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Supermarket and tram stop just around the corner. Hotel arranged airport transfer to both directions and that worked just as expected. Some tram noise during the night time, but for us it was not a problem at all.

Die Unterkunft war sauber aber teilweise defekt. Die Matratzen sind in die Jahre gekommen und sollten ausgetauscht worden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist hauptsächlich deftig. Aber es reichte aus für uns. Zum das Auto abstellen 28€ je Tag

A very nice hotel in my favourite district in Prague. It is away from the crowded touristy zones, but still it is very easy to reach the center with the trams which stop right beside the hotel. The main train station is just 2-3 stops away with trams. My room was clean and looked elegant with a huge and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, lot of options to choose from, including hot (baked beans, sausages, scrambled eggs) and cold items, and everything was available and replenished quickly. There were even cakes and waffles available for breakfast! My room was absolutely quiet, no noise came from anywhere. As it seems to be an old building, the electrical sockets are at inconvenient places, and I had to unplug the lamp to be able to use the kettle for making coffee (coffee and tea are provided in the room which is very nice) The pillows were very uncomfortable for me, but as the bed was very comfy, it did no bother me much. Overall, Hotel Carlton is an excellent choice, and I would be happy to stay here next time I visit Prague.

Great hotel in a good location with easy tram links to the old town. We had a large room with separate seating area which was clean and spacious. Hotel also offered a nice buffet breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful.

A full breakfast in the morning was very good, including many breads, cereals, cold cuts, fruit and some hot dishes. The staff, notably Blanka and Tomas were kind and helpful. Both were fluent in English , gave nearby restaurant suggestions, directions, and arranged a lunch to go for our early morning flight when we departed.We took public transit to tour the city and a tram stop was nearby. The room was clean and all amenities were in good working order. We were on the top floor had only skylights and not windows. A great experience visiting a fabulous city.

The Carlton is conveniently located on a tram line and is only two stops from the main station. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is a supermarket across the street and plenty of dining options nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Great hotel, lovely staff. Only reason for marking down is due to my key card nocking me out of my room twice to which I had to go down to reception to sort. Staff were happy to help though.

The staff at this hotel was incredibly friendly, from housekeeping to the front desk staff. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast is beyond amazing. The variety of options was fantastic, including a variety of coffee drinks, and ambience in the breakfast room just made me quite happy. Overall, a wonderful experience!

All the staff were friendly and professional my room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice. The tram stops a short distance away and there are a number of connections nearby to other locations other than the centre.

A very nice hotel in my favourite district in Prague. It is away from the crowded touristy zones, but still it is very easy to reach the center with the trams which stop right beside the hotel. The main train station is just 2-3 stops away with trams. My room was clean and looked elegant with a huge and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, lot of options to choose from, including hot (baked beans, sausages, scrambled eggs) and cold items, and everything was available and replenished quickly. There were even cakes and waffles available for breakfast! My room was absolutely quiet, no noise came from anywhere. This is a great hotel. Clean, comfortable, and located close to restaurants, supermarkets, and a major train station. You can walk to many points of interest right in the neighborhood. Public transportation is right outside the door from the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again when in Prague.

Great hotel in a good location with easy tram links to the old town. We had a large room with separate seating area which was clean and spacious. Hotel also offered a nice buffet breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful.

It is a nice property to stay. We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is conveniently located with Lipanska tram station just 3 mins walking. As Prague transportation is really good, we had no issues commuting to and from from the hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and cosy. All facilities were available. There is lift in the hotel. The hotel switches off the AC during winters so to make the room ventilated, we suggest to open windows for some time so that everybody can sleep comfortably. Towels provided were clean and washroom was also clean. Breakfast options were limited. With just a few meat and cheese options, no particular changes were there for 3 days we had breakfast there. I would suggest the hotel to add options to their breakfast spread. We had literally just eggs and bread on the 4rd day as there was no variety. Overall a good place to stay. Would love to stay here again if needed.

The Carlton is conveniently located on a tram line and is only two stops from the main station. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is a supermarket across the street and plenty of dining options nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Nära hållplats för spårvagn så även om det inte ligger mitt i smeten tar man sig enkelt överallt. Väldigt lugnt hotell, inget att anmärka på.

Esperienza positiva. Colazione ottima (frutta fresca, continentale, dolce). Nonostante la posizione sia un po' defilata, risulta comodissimo perchè a 2 minuti a piedi c'è la fermata del tram che in 4 fermate (10 minuti) porta al centro storico.

A very nice hotel in my favourite district in Prague. It is away from the crowded touristy zones, but still it is very easy to reach the center with the trams which stop right beside the hotel. A full breakfast in the morning was very good, including many breads, cereals, cold cuts, fruit and some hot dishes. The staff, notably Blanka and Tomas were kind and helpful. Both were fluent in English , gave nearby restaurant suggestions, directions, and arranged a lunch to go for our early morning flight when we departed.We took public transit to tour the city and a tram stop was nearby. The room was clean and all amenities were in good working order. We were on the top floor had only skylights and not windows. A great experience visiting a fabulous city.

The hotel looked amazing,staff were very friendly ,hotel and rooms were very clean and good size. Everything was amazing and will come definitely again. The only was disappointing was the breakfast cakes. I am Czech so I know how they should look like or taste but the cakes were often not baked properly and or no sweet . Bábovka two days in row was not baked properly was heavy and oily and Pernik wasn't sweet enough and cheesecakes were horrible. I was very disappointed! Breakfast could have been in overall much much better. But the rest was amazing 5 stars.

The staff at this hotel was incredibly friendly, from housekeeping to the front desk staff. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast is beyond amazing. The variety of options was fantastic, including a variety of coffee drinks, and ambience in the breakfast room just made me quite happy. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The staff were good, the breakfast was generally decent, and the location was great, with the tram stops walkable with just a couple of minutes. The downside for me was that the air conditioning in my room didn’t work during my stay, meaning it was 27.5C in my room for almost all of the time. As this was my only week of holiday for 2 years, I was hoping to sleep well and relax a bit, but that didn’t happen. I even went out walking in the night to cool down. The other criticism is that the shower was at the height of my chest, not over my head, so I either had to kneel, bend down or hold the shower head above myself to wash. The bath I had to get into had a high side, which was fine for me, but anyone with mobility issues would have really struggled. The windows were skylights, so I had no window to look out of. Apparently that was because it was a business room. I was having a mix of a business trip and a holiday, but the holiday aspect was something of a let down. Whilst there were good aspects about the hotel, I’m not sure I would stay there again.
