Hotellet trenger opo Pgradeting. Ikke verdig 5 stjerner. Skittent og ødelagte solstoler rundt basseng. Bakken var brun og sleip i 6 dager før vi så renhold ved bassenget. Flere av gjestene falt og skadet seg. Dusjen på rom var ødelagt i holder, manglende rehold i fester rundt glassvegg på bad. Forvitret og med hvitt/grønt belegg. Skjeve lamper og revet gardin. Sovesofa kunn Vi hadde junior suite. Sovesofa kunne ikke brukes til å sove i. Berg og dalbane. Fikk heldigvis ny seng. Flott service og kjekt ved bassenget med aktiviteter. Very young slightly rowdie crowd staying there. Wasn't what we expected. Nice renovated room,clean and modern. Food in buffet restaurant was ok. Very warm weather, had to find a place away from the main pool as different people had music blaring from their speakers. Very reasonable quick break for my birthday. Shame no sun beds on the beach. Nice staff. Very out of season so the area was very quiet, no other hotels open. Many restaurants /shops were closed. Outside pool was freezing and the indoor pool wasn't in use. Plenty of sun beds out of season, probably wouldn't want to be there in summer. Have stayed at much better five star hotels. Definitely get sea view and premium room which has been renovated.

Beautiful hotel in convenient location. Customer service excellent. Elevators not all working and has to walk down 15 flights of stairs. 1 elevator never worked at all. A/C didn’t work properly. Kept turning off and switch would not turn back on. I believe the switch plate needed to be replaced. Beautiful breeeze of the ocean accommodated for lack of proper a/c.

It’s alright… but Not the greatest. Appreciating it’s a massive complex but the whole place looks and feels a bit tired. 50 years old this year… and you can tell. Check in is painful and for some reason seems to take an age. We stayed in one of the family bungalow suites up the mountain side. Concierge service with buggies to get you up and down thank god. The room was ok but… as I say… in need of a refurb. Aircon in the room defo needs a re-gas or service. Had trouble getting to sleep some nights as it was still pretty hot in the room. Had an “American” style breakfast included… lots to choose from. Staff could defo do with cheering up a bit… not many smiles knocking around. Overall… I’d give it 6 out of 10.

Dining arrangements were ordinary. There was a restaurant at the rear that was only availabile for guests that had pre-bought all their dining. This was often near empty, while the main dining hall was chaotic. Additionally one lift wa only available for people on floor 16, while the other two lifts often provide a slow service.

Hotel in amazing location and beautiful beach. Ok as a four star hotel but really wouldn’t call it five , as the finishes were poor. Few issues; 1-dangerous large mirror that was cracked and we reported it twice and nothing done about it. 2-wrong pictures of chosen suite didn’t have pool as advertised , and we were told Expedia got it wrong . 3- iron room had timer light that kept going out whilst trying to iron which is dangerous . 3-advertised with coffee tea making facilities and we had one coffee pod in the whole week, plus our friends were charged for their coffee in their room , 4- city tax higher than advertised on site and were slightly shocked when checking in and presented with the invoice. 5- though there is a large amount of breakfast available , the hot breakfast was cold to warm if you were lucky and we tried at different times and always the same.

This is our 3rd stay at Rodos Palace. We have always stayed in a garden suite or a bungalow rather than the main hotel block. This year we stayed in a bungalow again. They are spacious and the grounds around the bungalows are well maintained. They are also very quiet. However, we have noticed that the bungalows have started to look 'tired' and could definitely benefit from a refurbishment. Although the main hotel pool is lovely, you cannot get a bed at the pool if you aren't up extremely early. This is despite a sign at the pool asking guests not to leave towels/belongings on beds prior to 10am and then returning to their rooms. The sign says belongings will be removed if this happens. Everyone ignores those signs and the hotel does not take any action. This is disappointing when you are looking for a sunbed and the vast majority are unoccupied at 10 with just a bottle of suncream or towel on them!

The staff is very nice and help for to solve the check-in problem. Housekeeping comes every day and no need making requests like many other hotels nowadays . However the facilities in the rooms need upgrading .

Efter fire dage på Rodos Palace står vi tilbage med en blandet oplevelse, hvor både beliggenhed og enkelte servicemomenter trækker op – mens vedligeholdelse og organisering trækker ned. Værelset og komforten Værelset lever desværre ikke op til billederne online. Det er slidt, indretningen er anderledes end forventet, og sengen var decideret skæv og meget brugt – ikke optimal for en god nats søvn. Kaffemaskinen virkede ikke og fremstod ulækker, og airconditionen larmer så meget, at det påvirker komforten. Værelserne skulle være lydisolerede, men vi kunne høre naboernes samtaler, hvilket bekræfter, at beskrivelsen ikke helt holder. Rodos Palace har sine stærke sider: beliggenheden, receptionens service og enkelte smil fra barpersonalet. Men værelsernes tilstand, støjniveauet og underbemanding trækker helhedsoplevelsen ned. Kommer man med realistiske forventninger, kan man stadig få en udmærket ferie, men der er potentiale, der ikke bliver udnyttet

Χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση! Το δωμάτιο μύριζε άσχημα. Υπήρχαν παντού μυρμήγκια και μια κατσαρίδα περιφερόταν στο δωμάτιο. Πίσω από το κομοδίνο ήταν πολύ βρόμικα και υπήρχε ιστός με μεγάλη αράχνη.
Χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση! Το δωμάτιο μύριζε άσχημα. Υπήρχαν παντού μυρμήγκια και μια κατσαρίδα περιφερόταν στο δωμάτιο. Πίσω από το κομοδίνο ήταν πολύ βρόμικα και υπήρχε ιστός με μεγάλη αράχνη.

Menage presque jamais fait, tous les jours ils manquaient des serviettes nous sommes 4 et nous avions 1 serviette souvent, la chambre tres vieilles, la nourriture j en parles meme pas pour 5 etoiles c est impossible pas plus que 3 etoiles. This is a lovely hotel but it could do with some maintenance. The staff were friendly, especially Dimitris. There were quite a few niggles in our room, like the AC could have been cooler, the shower kept over flooding, ants in the kitchen. The breakfast had variety but it was average. We had an amazing private pool in our block so felt relaxed. Overall, we didn’t allow these issues to get in the way. We had a wonderful break. The hotel really stepped up when the wildfires happened and provided food and shelter for all those affected. Hat off to them!

It was a complete disappointment, it did not fulfill any of our expectations, the people in the front desk were rude and have unclean rooms, they don’t clean the bathrooms, floors or change the bed sheets, all they bed sheets are always stained.

We booked 7 nights in a “Garden VIP Suite with Semi Sharing Pool” at Rodos Palace Hotel, expecting a premium experience based on the description and photos. Unfortunately, the reality was far from that. While the hotel grounds look nice, both the rooms and common areas are very worn and poorly maintained. Our suite had rusted lamps, loose electrical cables in the bathroom covered with tape, cracked and damaged woodwork, stained sunbed mattresses, and loose decking around the pool. The wallpaper was peeling, and only one of three bathroom lights worked when we arrived. The main pool area was also neglected, with many broken sun loungers and dirty, stained mattresses. Overall, the hotel feels like it had its glory days more than 10 years ago and has not been kept up to the standard it still advertises. We complained to reception on the first and second day, then followed up in writing on the third day with photos. The hotel offered us another suite, but it had the exact same problems, so we stayed in the original room. Hotels.com later refunded 3 of the 7 nights, which we appreciate, but it doesn’t change the fact that the “VIP suite” and the hotel in general were neither VIP nor five-star in reality.

Bra överlag men det finns lite att jobba på, hissarna klarar inte att hantera antalet gäster och man får stå och vänta ganska länge ibland. Delar av hotellet är fortfarande inte renoverade. Bor man ovan våning 8 är allt superfräscht! (Vi bodde på 14 våningen) Överlag är det lite för mycket gäster och de känns inte som att hotellet kan hantera det till 100 %.

Upon arrival, we were checked in, no issue, no mention of additional charges, only the tourist tax. We then realised drinks not included with meals so we had to pay extra. There was no mention of an additional £15 charge per night. Overall, we ended up paying an additional approx £60 on top of our reservation fee. Not warned when checked in. Hotel is clean and beautiful but a lot of resources were closed. At the bar, you are pressurised to order drinks if you want to enjoy entertainment. Rooms are decent, modern and clean. Our toilet door would not open once closed. So we had to open the door from outside. The bathroom door would not close leaving a gap which the floor very slippery. The lights would randomly switch off and on at night which was scary at the beginning. There is a generator that runs early in the morning which is very very disturbing. No aircons in rooms. Only heater that is set to 27 (centrally). I would rate this hotel 3 or 4. I wouldn’t return to the hotel again. Definitely not worth the price. I was fooled by the pictures and the 5 star, but I didn’t get a 5 star service. What upsets me the most is that there were not honest about additional fees and surprised us on check out whilst taxi was waiting outside to take us back to the airport. I didn’t even have an opportunity to ask for an explanation or a chance to speak to a manager/supervisor.

Beautiful hotel in convenient location. Customer service excellent. Elevators not all working and has to walk down 15 flights of stairs. 1 elevator never worked at all. A/C didn’t work properly. Kept turning off and switch would not turn back on. I believe the switch plate needed to be replaced. Beautiful breeeze of the ocean accommodated for lack of proper a/c.

Efter fire dage på Rodos Palace står vi tilbage med en blandet oplevelse, hvor både beliggenhed og enkelte servicemomenter trækker op – mens vedligeholdelse og organisering trækker ned. We payed extra for a room with a double bed and view of the garden. All we saw was the roof that stretches out towards the garden and the room had two single beds. We had to ask 5-7 times over the span of two days for new beds or a new room, but ended up pushing them together ourselves, only for the housekeeping to put them back. This is NOT a 5-star hotel, 3 at BEST. Do not waste your money here.

Ich kann die extrem schlechten Bewertungen nicht teilen. Wir hatten allerdings auch das VIP Bungalow mit eigenem Pool. Der Service und die Mitarbeiter waren extrem zuvorkommend und freundlich. Trotz dass wir sogar mit Hund da waren. Unser kleiner Chihuahua durfte überall mit hin, bis auf das Restaurant, was aber völlig okay ist. Unser Bungalow war sauber aber schon etwas älter was die Ausstattung betrifft. Die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert. Ich würde das Hotel mit 3 Sternen bewerten anstatt 5, was aber auch für einen Familienurlaub perfekt war. Wer High-End Urlaub sucht mit Ruhe ist hier falsch. Aber für einen Familienurlaub super schön und am Besten einen Mietwagen mit einkalkulieren, weil es auf der anderen Seite der Insel sehr schöne Orte gibt. 😊

There is a queue in the cafeteria for breakfast even at 7 in the morning. The staff give you instructions saying "you sit here, you sit there, no, it's not possible there". It's like a military mess hall. When you have breakfast, you are afraid to pick up your phone because an staff will say something. There are very crowded tours coming all the time. There is a long tail in everything you do. The hotel is always crowded. Those who seek peace should stay away. The receptionists are like concrete. They asks for your credit card information so incase you can do something to the room. The Greek staff standing in the cafe next to the pool speak contemptuously. They reject the guests. They make fun of me when I say don't talk like that. Especially Greek young men are very aggressive and have aggressive attitudes. He speaks in a belligerent manner. The rooms are old, the hotel furniture is old. The sink is clogged. As I was going down to breakfast, I got nervous because one of the staff would say something. Very crowded hotel, there is always a queue, there is commotion and noise. The hotel seriously discriminates between all inclusive and breakfast only customers. There is discrimination in breakfast rooms and breakfast foods. Hotel employees also communicate with you by making this discrimination. The tradesmen of Rhodes are very money-grubbing and very rude. In short, this hotel ruined my holiday. I wouldn't want to go to Rhodes or the Rodos Palas hotel again.

It’s alright… but Not the greatest. Appreciating it’s a massive complex but the whole place looks and feels a bit tired. 50 years old this year… and you can tell. Check in is painful and for some reason seems to take an age. We stayed in one of the family bungalow suites up the mountain side. Concierge service with buggies to get you up and down thank god. The room was ok but… as I say… in need of a refurb. Aircon in the room defo needs a re-gas or service. Had trouble getting to sleep some nights as it was still pretty hot in the room. Had an “American” style breakfast included… lots to choose from. Staff could defo do with cheering up a bit… not many smiles knocking around. Overall… I’d give it 6 out of 10.

I had a fantastic stay at the Rodos Palace Hotel. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The meals were delicious. The location is perfect, close to the city center. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. I highly recommend Rodos Palace for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is a lovely hotel but it could do with some maintenance. The staff were friendly, especially Dimitris. There were quite a few niggles in our room, like the AC could have been cooler, the shower kept over flooding, ants in the kitchen. The breakfast had variety but it was average. We had an amazing private pool in our block so felt relaxed. Overall, we didn’t allow these issues to get in the way. We had a wonderful break. The hotel really stepped up when the wildfires happened and provided food and shelter for all those affected. Hat off to them!

Looking for a nightmare vacation? You've come to the right place! We read the comments - we couldn't believe it. The price convinced us... and we made the mistake of a lifetime. We're here for 9 nights in the old wing: Looks like a hotel from the 80's without proper maintenance Smelly hallways of dirty carpets. The room looks like an abandoned warehouse - scratched parquet, a broken refrigerator next to a new refrigerator, an air conditioner that makes a noise like an airplane but cools like a burning candle (and also puts out dust!), a sunken bed, a broken toilet, broken sockets, a balcony door that doesn't lock, broken lighting, a clogged sink, and a floor that hasn't heard a mop in years. The reception? They smile and say "come in the morning... maybe they'll free up some rooms." In the meantime - we sleep three nights without air conditioning. reception, lobby, dining room and public areas are all crowded. Breakfast with a thousand people, all industrial. Don't do this to yourself.

Very young slightly rowdie crowd staying there. Wasn't what we expected. Nice renovated room,clean and modern. Food in buffet restaurant was ok. Very warm weather, had to find a place away from the main pool as different people had music blaring from their speakers. Very reasonable quick break for my birthday. Shame no sun beds on the beach. Nice staff. Very out of season so the area was very quiet, no other hotels open. Many restaurants /shops were closed. Outside pool was freezing and the indoor pool wasn't in use. Plenty of sun beds out of season, probably wouldn't want to be there in summer. Have stayed at much better five star hotels. Definitely get sea view and premium room which has been renovated.

Beautiful hotel in convenient location. Customer service excellent. Elevators not all working and has to walk down 15 flights of stairs. 1 elevator never worked at all. A/C didn’t work properly. Hotel in amazing location and beautiful beach. Ok as a four star hotel but really wouldn’t call it five , as the finishes were poor. Few issues; 1-dangerous large mirror that was cracked and we reported it twice and nothing done about it. 2-wrong pictures of chosen suite didn’t have pool as advertised , and we were told Expedia got it wrong . 3- iron room had timer light that kept going out whilst trying to iron which is dangerous . 3-advertised with coffee tea making facilities and we had one coffee pod in the whole week, plus our friends were charged for their coffee in their room , 4- city tax higher than advertised on site and were slightly shocked when checking in and presented with the invoice. 5- though there is a large amount of breakfast available , the hot breakfast was cold to warm if you were lucky and we tried at different times and always the same.

This is our 3rd stay at Rodos Palace. We have always stayed in a garden suite or a bungalow rather than the main hotel block. This year we stayed in a bungalow again. They are spacious and the grounds around the bungalows are well maintained. They are also very quiet. However, we have noticed that the bungalows have started to look 'tired' and could definitely benefit from a refurbishment. Although the main hotel pool is lovely, you cannot get a bed at the pool if you aren't up extremely early. This is despite a sign at the pool asking guests not to leave towels/belongings on beds prior to 10am and then returning to their rooms. The sign says belongings will be removed if this happens. Everyone ignores those signs and the hotel does not take any action. This is disappointing when you are looking for a sunbed and the vast majority are unoccupied at 10 with just a bottle of suncream or towel on them!

5 Sterne… alles nur geklaut? Aufgepasst!!! Hände weg von diesem Hotel. Wir reisen sehr viel, so ein schlechtea Hotel ist mir noch nie untergekommen. Glücklicherweise hatten wir nur mit Frühstück gebucht…. und dieses war unter aller S….. aufgelöster Puder für O-Saft, Apfelsaft usw. Total übersüsst. Rührei war auch nur Puder mit Wasser. Vom Reat nicht zu sprechen. Bei schönstem Wetter musste man innen essen, da keine Restaurantterrasse zur verfügung stand. Pool und Liegen einfach nur ekelhaft und nicht genug zur Verfügung. Wir waren 2 Mal in diesem Hotel, zum ersten und zum letzen Mal!!!!!!! :-(((((((

Dining arrangements were ordinary. There was a restaurant at the rear that was only availabile for guests that had pre-bought all their dining. This was often near empty, while the main dining hall was chaotic. Additionally one lift wa only available for people on floor 16, while the other two lifts often provide a slow service.

Paid extra for big room with private pool. Was disappointed. Although we had sole use of the pool, it was right next to main pathway so not really private. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were dated. No dish towel or cleaning/Squeezy. The fridge was old cool box with no freezer to make use cubes( you had to buy your own if needed). The taps were corroded, no kettle to make tea/hot water. Two coffee pods and one cream milk. The bath needed upgrading, leaked and silcon seals were dirty/black. We stayed for three nights and it was advertised as having use of executive lounge, we were given one visit. The TVs were old with no apps. Plus's were -comfy bed, good air con and good selection for breakfast, but had to chase round to get hot water for tea and coffee machine temperamental. Some of the main areas were very musty/damp smelling. Seemed like extra charges for everything 14.00 for cocktail , 11 for basic wine, 10 for sun beds at the beach. Couldn't find price list for restaurants so ate out. Lots of great restaurants within 10min to 25 min walk. Even charged 7.00 to use to basic gymn. This is jot a 5 star hotel felt ripped off.

We stayed in an Executive room for five nights. 1. We weren't told that the room is cleaned and tidied only every other day. Things like that should be mentioned in advance. 2. There was a coffee machine in the room. We ran out of coffee capsules after a day and a half. When I asked why the coffee supplies hadn't been replenished, I was told that this had to be done through room service (for a fee!)

Extremt dålig service för att vara ett femstjärnigt hotell. Vi bodde i ett av de renoverade rummen, plan 7-17 och rummet är bra. Tyvärr är det också det enda som är bra med hotellet. Städningen är under all kritik, ibland byter de ut glasen ibland inte, dåligt rengjort överlag i rummet. Hissarna fungerar också extremt dåligt, det finns endast tre hissar på hela detta hotell och ofta är det bara en till två av dessa hissar som fungerar. Även när de fungerar så stannar hissarna på samtliga plan, spelar ingen roll ifall man trycker uppåt eller neråt i lobby. Otroligt missnöjda!
