The property is quite old but the staff make it great good location with 3 swimming pools and special part of the beach. All in all very good

Wonderful hotel, excellent food in the main buffet restaurant and in the other eating options. Loads of drink options in both bars. Staff all very efficient and friendly. 2 lovely outdoor pools with lots of parasols and the beach also has parasols and loungers. 15 minute walk to central/old town Rhodes Ali g the sea front. Throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Wonderful Staff, great amenities and dining options. the mentality behind the establishment it to let the guests feel comfortable and enjoy their time. Quality of food is top, and drinks are top bar quality. And after we checked out, as our flight was in the evening, we were told that we can use the facilities until we leave. It was our second time in Rhodes, and will be back again for sure to Mitsis hotels either this one or another one

This hotel is NOT a 5 star. While on paper it might be with the facilities and amenities it has to offer, the standard is not 5*. I'll begin with cons: 1.the sunbeds are so flimsy - they flipped my husband and I off our individual ones so many times - also when we laid back, they just completely snapped back! Unsafe! 2. Pillows were too high and hard to the point I had to sleep without or sleep on a towel! 3. Cleanliness - the hotel room balcony had cockroaches. The rooms were not cleaned - I came back to my room and found my used hot drink mugs just returned to the desk for re-use! There was a previous guests hair left on the hotels toiletries bottle and wasn't cleaned at all for days until I decided to clean. The rooms are outdated and are not soundproof. If you get a room by the main large round pool you won't have quiet-ish time until the entertainment stops around 2300hrs which was hard for us with very young kids. 4. Entertainment was a bit naff- probably more suited to older/more mature guests Pros 1. Great location - while it doesn't have a private beach, it does have designated sun beds for hotel guests on the beach right in front of it. It's a pebble beach though. Also only a 10 min walk into Rhodes town and has plenty of shops/restaurants around 2. Staff at the hotel were lovely - can't fault them at all especially Irinia 3. Good food/restaurant varieties 4. Kids club was amazing - Irine&Marisia!! 5. Could get a sunbed/pool options & space

There are a few, very minor, negatives. The housekeeping staff were quite noisy outside the room in the corridor in a morning. Despite the do not disturb sign displayed on our door, one of the maids persistently knocked on the door. Also, the mini bar should be refreshed every second day - it wasn't. It took two requests to reception to have this done. There was a problem getting sunbeds - virtually impossible near the pool itself. This was due to people reserving them with towels. The signage clearly stated that anyone leaving towels unattended for more than an hour would have them removed. This never happened resulting in unoccupied sunbeds. Otherwise a fantastic place to stay. However, much of this review is pointless as it is planned that this hotel will be demolished after the 2024 season and rebuilt with a new one. Shame as although it may be slightly dated in some places but is still better than many we have stayed in.

Amazing combination of good hotel facilities for family, great staff and perfect location. Plus: have the most amazing sunset ever!

Nice hotel, nice staff, direct on the beach. But problems like not much kids oriented, few staff not well behaved especially the one in the restaurant, pool side restaurants not well managed by hotel and restaurant staff - they do not allow sitting anywhere but only on their allowed tables and thats a but rude behavior. Water in the bathroom of the top floors have low water pressure and thereby not effective while bathing and all. Overall just for the sake of a beach front hotel there is nothing exceptional.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff and service 1st class, food so much to choose from lots of a la carte restaurants, hotel spotless always cleaning all areas. Lovely beach front location with free sun beds, only 15 minute walk in to the port and old town. Great evening entertainment and branded drinks what more could you want. Had a fantastic 14 night holiday here and can’t wait to return again next year bringing the family with us.

Rooms a little dated but liked the Greek feel to the room. Hotel very clean. Staff cannot do enough for you. Very close to the beach and has three pool areas to choose from.loved the Greek, Pitta and Burger restaurants. Also loved the ice cream restaurnt, lots of variety and food options to choose from. Asian restaurant good but the Italian Restaurant not so many options menu should be revised Buffet food hall/restaurant good lots of options to choose from for Breakfast. Although no Tuna or prawns served which would have been nice. Also no blueberries. Hotel around 10-12 minutes walking distance to Harbour, Old Town and new town lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Would book Hotel again if affordable.

What an amazing hotel! It has anything you could ever ask for. And the fact that they make you stay at the hotel and use the beach, pools and all inclusive benefits (food and drinks) even the day of the check out (if you have a late flight) it makes it more worth it!

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times, the place is well maintained and very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Location could not be better, on the sea-front close to busy town and 15 minute walk into the old town of Rhodes itself. I would not hesitate to recommend.

The amount of ridiculous rules about what you can and can't have/do make this an unpleasant hotel to stay in. For example, we had lunch in the Greek restaurant and the dessert (like so many other things) was not available. However, it was in the next restaurant a couple of metres away. They insisted that I sit at a table for 4 in one establishment with my husband sitting at a table for 4 in the other to eat dessert. Certainly not a customer centred approach! Another example, the minibar in the room (small bottle of wine, 2 beers and 4 cans of pop) can only be replenished every other day. I thought the member of staff replenishing the minibar was going to explode when I asked for a replacement beer. The food in the main dining room is very poor and everything tasted the same. It also wasn't hot. Cleaning of bedrooms inadequate - literally a change of the bins and towels daily. I would never stay here again. Definitely, not 5*.

Dejligt ophold med super service. Der er stort udvalg i samtlige restauranter. Maden er rigtig god. Dog trænger værelser til at blive renoveret. Men alt er meget rent.

Excellent stay at the Misis grand . Food was amazing, lots of choice from breakfast through to dinner . Staff were very attentive, particularly when one of my 16 year olds become unwell , calls up to the room to check he was ok . Big shout out to Billy who always had a smile on his face and worked really hard all day around the pool . As others have said rooms are tired , but where kept spotless clean. Overall a fab holiday

Public areas of hotel were beautiful however rooms, whilst clean, were very tired and somewhat dated. Furniture very shabby and bathrooms in need of major modernisation

Loved how local it is to Rhodes town , clean, some staff , but I understand it’s due for a refurbishment hence my rating, If it wasn’t my rating would be terrible! Here is hoping for a more modern hotel that fits in with all other mitsis quality hotels🙂. 8/10 👍

The property was very close to the sea and also walkable to the old town so a good location. The staff were friendly and mostly helpful. However it badly needs renovation. The first room we were offered was in a very poor condition. The bathroom looked wrecked, broken tiles, broken down bath, and toilet seat incorrectly fitted. The room was not the size stated on the website and looked nothing like the picture or what we had expected. We stayed in the room one night before moving to a better room that was very noisy. We should have asked to move again but were told that if we called down to reception they would ask people to be quieter. On one night we called reception 4 times between midnight and 2am. The food was adequate but more like canteen food than expected for a five star hotel. The a la carte restaurants were very nice but could only be booked for two dinners and one brunch.

Leider sind die Flure gefliest, daher hört man jeden Schritt, insbesondere Nachts. Einige Gäste haben sich einige Gäste auch noch lautstark unterhalten und die Tür ordentlich geknallt, was sehr störend ist, wenn man schläft. Sonst war es sehr schön und erholsam.

The hotel is big and gives a chilled vibe. Although both hotel rooms need a revamp (I’ve read the hotel is due to go through a massive refurb later this year), we couldn’t fault the stay. Staff were always polite, helpful and attentive. Food and drink options were fab across all restaurants and bars, including the big list of cocktails included in the all inclusive. Room was big and comfortable. We received free pool/beach towels that could be changed daily. WiFi was so-so but when it worked well, it was good. The hotel was a good level of busy, not too packed, considering we stayed in the height of summer. We’d happily stay again and will look forward to what the hotel looks like when it’s been done. Will consider staying at another hotel in the Mitsis Group.

The entrance, restaurant and pool areas were nice but the rooms were very dated and in need of some tlc (unsafe plug sockets etc). Our room was incredibly noisy and although we had a nice sea view we were right next to the main road with a constant stream of coaches, Lorrie’s and mopeds until very late each night and then starting early the next morning. We couldn’t have a conversation on the balcony. Also, I got food poisoning which restricted me to our room for a day and a half and couldn’t eat for nearly three days. Whilst I cannot guarantee it was from the hotel, I only ever had food and drinks from there, so judge for yourself. Hotel had some good points, but for the money I think there’s better around, so unlikely to return.

An excellent hotel and services with amazing staff. Especially the following six employees, Joanna, Kathokiki at reception, George the porter, Nikos and Rafail in the main restaurant and Litsa at the main bar. Exceptional people. Thank you everyone.

The staff at the Mitsis Grand Hotel Beach Hotel are the real stars of the property. Every single member of staff we had met have been super helpful and very pleasant to converse with. I can't overstate how lovely our stay was because of them. The rooms were a bit dated and need a bit of refreshment however, they come with everything you need and the A/C was lovely however the decor and the upkeep has suffered a little, chipped paint, odd scratches here and there. The facilities are great and what you would expect and the food (esp. in the places by the pool, shout outs to the Mexican restaurant and their pork dish and staff!! ) The hotel itself is located close to the medieval town as well as the acropolis above the town. Highly reccomend this hotel!

For the price we paid through Expedia, the hotel is good. Not 5* and high quality that the brand seems to suggest though. The restaurants served good food but the buffet was very basic. 3 star quality compared to other all inclusive hotels. The food choices were all most the same every night. The restaurants seem very under staffed too, even though there’s lots of people working there. We went for brunch one morning and got told basically they had run out of everything because of the other guests so when I ordered the fruit pancakes, it was literally a pancake and syrup. The brunch restaurant was an absolute mess too. When we dined in the Italian restaurant, the service was very slow. I asked for an aperol spritz with my food and got told we usually would offer this but are too busy so pick a simpler drink. Not really 5* service. We ordered a lunch bag for a day trip and my vegetarian sandwich was literally tomato and lettuce. When you order one from the app it describes a lovely cheese roll in a lovely white chilled bag to keep your food cool all day. We got given a falling apart black bag and a paper bag. Don’t advertise it as so lovely if it’s so basic. The room we had was very dated and clearly needed a refurbishment compared to the other rooms we saw. Most of the hotel staff are very friendly. Great bar service! I think they are just overwhelmed with how many guests stay at the hotel. A few changes and the hotel would be great.

Mitsis Grand Hotel was a pleasure to visit. With clean grounds attentive friendly staff and terrific accessibility to historic sites and excursions you will not be disappointed. The prime beachfront location is a must for anyone traveling to Rhodes.

Les salles de bains sont vraiment dans un état de vétusté auquel on ne s attend pas. En terme de propreté, il faut demander pour que le ménage soit fait tous les jours. En août, les piscines sont bondées et il est difficile de trouver un transat après 9h! Il y a des groupes de musique tous les soirs, ce qui est plutôt agréable. La nourriture est bonne et les restaurants sur réservation de très bonne qualité.

I thought the member of staff replenishing the minibar was going to explode when I asked for a replacement beer. The food in the main dining room is very poor and everything tasted the same. It also wasn't hot. Cleaning of bedrooms inadequate - literally a change of the bins and towels daily. I would never stay here again. Definitely, not 5*.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff and service 1st class, food so much to choose from lots of a la carte restaurants, hotel spotless always cleaning all areas. Lovely beach front location with free sun beds, only 15 minute walk in to the port and old town. Great evening entertainment and branded drinks what more could you want. Had a fantastic 14 night holiday here and can’t wait to return again next year bringing the family with us.

For the price we paid through Expedia, the hotel is good. Not 5* and high quality that the brand seems to suggest though. The restaurants served good food but the buffet was very basic. 3 star quality compared to other all inclusive hotels. The food choices were all most the same every night. The restaurants seem very under staffed too, even though there’s lots of people working there. We went for brunch one morning and got told basically they had run out of everything because of the other guests so when I ordered the fruit pancakes, it was literally a pancake and syrup. The brunch restaurant was an absolute mess too. When we dined in the Italian restaurant, the service was very slow. I asked for an aperol spritz with my food and got told we usually would offer this but are too busy so pick a simpler drink. Not really 5* service. We ordered a lunch bag for a day trip and my vegetarian sandwich was literally tomato and lettuce. When you order one from the app it describes a lovely cheese roll in a lovely white chilled bag to keep your food cool all day. We got given a falling apart black bag and a paper bag. Don’t advertise it as so lovely if it’s so basic. The room we had was very dated and clearly needed a refurbishment compared to the other rooms we saw. Most of the hotel staff are very friendly. Great bar service! I think they are just overwhelmed with how many guests stay at the hotel. A few changes and the hotel would be great.

The hotel has a truly excellent staff -- both friendly and extremely helpful. The physical condition of the guest rooms is "acceptable", not more than that. What is disappointing is the level of availability in the alternate restaurants (as opposed to the main one). The indoor ones are not open often enough and the outside ones are tiny, undermanned, and so crowded that in my four days there I was never able to eat in one of them.
