The highlight of our Scotland accommodation. Sitting directly on the water in the bay, slightly down from the pier, a stunning Uig location. The property inside was brand new. Very modern and tastefully decorated. Three bedrooms (4 beds) with three bathrooms, our family of four had plenty of room. We made cooked breakfast daily and had more equipment than we needed. The washer and dryer were well used. We were visited daily by sheep in the garden. We spent most of our time at the house looking out the windows at the glorious bay view.

Tides was an amazing property for our Isle of Skye visit. Between watching the weather roll in and out, the views across the bay, the sunsets and the rainbows, this location was excellent. We utilized the kitchen a lot, between cooking every breakfast and dinner there, and enjoyed the experience, although a knife sharpener would be a great addition to the well stocked kitchen. Having two ensuites and an additional bathroom (one for each bedroom essentially) was perfect for our group. And the clothes washer & dryer was a greatly needed bonus on our two week holiday. Would highly recommend the Tides for a quiet, tranquil experience.

We had a lovely stay at The Tides in Skye over the last week. We arrived in the dark a bit later than we had expected and we really could not see much about the location of the property. The spacious and well appointed bedrooms were a welcome place to rest for the night. When we awoke the first morning to see a large ferry gliding silently by in the bay, the beauty of the place took our breath away. Unfortunately, a heavy storm prevented us from exploring many of the Skye’s treasures, but we had a lovely place to watch the storm pass with a fire in the fireplace. We look forward to returning.

All the appliances worked and the kitchen was spacious and modern. The location in Uig was perfect. Close to the major sights we wanted to see. Skye roads can be challenging and we were so glad this property was easily accessible. Our favorite thing about this house were the spectacular views! We lived our stay here!

We had an absolutely amazing week at Tides. Beautiful accommodation with gorgeous views. The bedrooms were comfortable, the showers the best we’ve ever had and the kitchen well-equipped. We loved exploring beautiful Skye and coming back to relax in style.

The house and its views of the bay are beautiful! Surprisingly large bedrooms by European standards with bathrooms for each bedroom. Modern and warm. Kitchen has everything you'd need and more if you are making meals (which you may be because finding dinner reservations during our trip was impossible).

Tides was the perfect rental for our family of five. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous views out over the water watching the ferry come and go. We had many gloomy days on our trip but the house was a wonderfully cozy place to hunker down and watch the storms blow through. Would highly recommend and hope to return someday!

Far and away the most beautiful place (inside and out) of our Scotland adventure. The decor is as phenomenal as the scenery. Extremely comfortable, well-equipped, quiet, welcoming…with a fireplace and an amazing view. I had high expectations and it exceeded them. Thank you for sharing this lovely place!

Spacious house with great views in the Isle of Sky! Ben was super easy to communicate with and even drove to the house when I couldn’t figure out the dryer. I would definitely recommend this place!

The home was super clean and new and the views are to die for. Overall our stay was nice but some local recommendations would have been nice from the management company. Also the sheets and pillows were pretty low quality and could be improved.

Very nice views, house was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for The Quiraing, Fairy Glen & Castle Ewen ruin and much more. It's about a 40-min drive from Portree. The ferry terminal is very close by as well.

Tides is a stunning property in an equally stunning location. Our slight reservation is that the comfort of the lounge area, for our party, was limited. The two yellow chairs very comfortable, the blue sofa too low and not really big enough for 4 people, trying to watch TV for example.

On arrival the house was WOW, lived up to the photographs. Beautiful setting makes the most of the view. Only marked down because the bedding could be better quality. There was no egg cups or serving bowls, and could do with more cutlery only 6 of each item. This sounds picky but it has been fitted out to a high standard and these little things above are easily fixed.

We had a great time at this beautiful location. The house is amazing; perfectly located to many fantastic sights of the isle of Skye and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time in the house. We really felt at home right from the beginning. Also the check-in procedure was great, flexible and easy. We can only recommend this place. It’s not cheap, but worth the money.

I would highly recommend this house, it was a fantastic stay! You have all you need and it’s just as gorgeous you see in the pictures. Everything was very well organized and Ben was very responsive and helpful. Thank you very much! Hope to come again!

We had some trouble finding the place as it was dark. We were able to contact someone who gave us good directions, thank goodness. We also had no heat as something was wrong with the computer control. This was resolved the next day and we had a wonderful stay!

The highlight of our Scotland accommodation. Sitting directly on the water in the bay, slightly down from the pier, a stunning Uig location. The property inside was brand new. Very modern and tastefully decorated. Three bedrooms (4 beds) with three bathrooms, our family of four had plenty of room. We made cooked breakfast daily and had more equipment than we needed. The washer and dryer were well used. We were visited daily by sheep in the garden. We spent most of our time at the house looking out the windows at the glorious bay view.

Uig is way up on Isle of Skye, but nicely located for visits to gorgeous Quiraing (our favorite site on Skye) and a hike up Old Man of Storr (go early or late as it gets crowded). Best dinner of our trip was at Uig Hotel, a quick drive away. Small grocery nearby has adequate supplies. Great to be able to do laundry, and loved not having to share bathrooms--nice showers! I-pad instructions were helpful on operating appliances. Hope rest of neighborhood will upgrade like Tides..but definitely felt safe.

Very nice views, house was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for The Quiraing, Fairy Glen & Castle Ewen ruin and much more. It's about a 40-min drive from Portree. The ferry terminal is very close by as well.

Our stay at Tides was very relaxing. Uig is not far from other towns but felt like we were secluded enough from the busier locations. We loved it! My niece and I loved sitting by the big windows, looking for Seals. Being that it was October, we didn’t spot many from the living room but we saw one. One evening we walked to a cute nearby hotel and had a few apéritifs. We would definitely go back if we were ever in Isle of Sky again!

Tides was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was fabulous within driving distance of the magnificent scenery and hiking and right on the water’s edge where we could hear the waves. One of our favorite places to stay of all time!

Tides at Uig was a beautiful and welcoming place to stay with a convenient location and parking, comfortable and high quality furnishings and bedding and a lovely reception room with views and plenty of room for couples travelling together. Can highly recommend.

We were wowed as soon as we walked in the door! What an amazing and beautiful home. We absolutely loved the decor and amenities. The view is breathtaking. Proximity to all the hiking and adventures Isle of Skye has to offer was great. The restaurants we ate at in town were delicious too.

We had a great time at this beautiful location. The house is amazing; perfectly located to many fantastic sights of the isle of Skye and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time in the house. We really felt at home right from the beginning. Also the check-in procedure was great, flexible and easy. We can only recommend this place. It’s not cheap, but worth the money.

Tides was an amazing property for our Isle of Skye visit. Between watching the weather roll in and out, the views across the bay, the sunsets and the rainbows, this location was excellent. We utilized the kitchen a lot, between cooking every breakfast and dinner there, and enjoyed the experience, although a knife sharpener would be a great addition to the well stocked kitchen. Having two ensuites and an additional bathroom (one for each bedroom essentially) was perfect for our group. And the clothes washer & dryer was a greatly needed bonus on our two week holiday. Would highly recommend the Tides for a quiet, tranquil experience.

Tides at Uig is luxurious and comfortable with a stunning view. I spent 3 days there with my extended family, eating, drinking, laughing and enjoying the absolute peace and quiet. The living, dining and kitchen area has everything you could need, and each bedroom is outstanding with its own high end bathroom. I would highly recommend

We had an absolutely amazing week at Tides. Beautiful accommodation with gorgeous views. The bedrooms were comfortable, the showers the best we’ve ever had and the kitchen well-equipped. We loved exploring beautiful Skye and coming back to relax in style.

The house and its views of the bay are beautiful! Surprisingly large bedrooms by European standards with bathrooms for each bedroom. Modern and warm. Kitchen has everything you'd need and more if you are making meals (which you may be because finding dinner reservations during our trip was impossible).

Tides was the perfect rental for our family of five. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous views out over the water watching the ferry come and go. We had many gloomy days on our trip but the house was a wonderfully cozy place to hunker down and watch the storms blow through. Would highly recommend and hope to return someday!
