Two stops by metro to/from Central station. Big S/M nearby (behind). The room was small. Had a fridge and coffee machine though. From the time I entered the room there was a constant unpleasant smell, like cooking or something. Breakfast was ok. What was awesome about that hotel, was the food at its small restaurant. There are only a few options but it rocks! I had the steak and it was so tender and rightly cooked. Served with potato chips and roasted veggies. And at a reasonable price considering you are in the Netherlands!

Sehr gut und zentral gelegenes Hotel. Rotterdam Zentrum fußläufig erreichbar. Direkt am Wasser. Zimmer sind in Ordnung. Leider war aus technischen Gründen kein Internet verfügbar.

I was not pleased with this hotel. The tv didn't work, the coffee maker was not working either, the phone didn't work and my room wasnt cleaned. The beds were made everyday and the garbage taken out but dirty cups left and not changed and sheets were not changed all week. I had to complain 3 times before anything was done and no one checked or followed up to make sure all was working correctly. I definitely will not be staying again....the hotel is a 3 star but didn't have any amenities as most hotels do. Very dissappointed!!!

Nog beetje rommelig door verbouwing maar wij zijn tevreden. Had update business kamer en heel netjes. Het mooie uitzicht is waarschijnlijk alleen voor de duurdere kamers? Bar heel netjes en genoeg keus en super vriendelijk personeel en mooi uitzicht.

Breakfast options were plentiful and very good, the bar service was friendly and very good, our corner room with large windows and balcony provided excellent views of the river, bridge and passing boat. The layout with sitting area and desk was very useful. Option to use stairs was appreciated. The kind and friendly staff made our visit to this interesting city a pleasure.

We had a room on the corner of the building overlooking Erasmus Bridge. Watching all the boats on the canal while having a cuppa was great. There are some lovely restaurants a very short walk from the hotel, and museums close by. The tram stop right outside the hotel is very convenient and made exploring the city very easy. Rooms on our floor were being renovated with new furniture etc. Our room definitely needed the upcoming revamp as the chairs in particular were worn and stained. Fantastic radiators meant we could be comfortable during a cold spell. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we did use the bar once - it's a bit tired, service was ordinary and the food/snacks options very limited. Overall, we'd happily stay here again.

Jammer dat je een kamer krijgt met een uitzicht tegen een ander gebouw. Ik vond de kamers wat klein aangezien je wel goed betaald voor een nacht. Schoonmaaksters komen ook niet, ook al hang je een “Clean my Room” hanger aan de deur.

Geweldige plek naast de Erasmusbrug, centrum op loopafstand, tram voor de deur, metro vlakbij. Restaurant beneden. Prima ontbijt. Klein nadeel is het lawaai van de trams op de brug en de watertaxi's. Kamer aan de rivierzijde: groot, met zitje, prachtig uitzicht, grote TV, goede Nespressomachine, Ruime douche, schoon.

Good for sight seeing. In nice area. Room was very small so bit disappointed. Glass sliding door closed of toilet and shower. Wouldn’t stay in this type of room again. Attending wedding so space for clothes not good. No seat in the room. Very cramped. Clean but unfortunately the smell of food in the room was bit unpleasant so kept air con on.

Tolle Lage, würden wir sofort wieder buchen. Zimmer etwas klein, aber für einen Städtereise völlig ausreichend. Größere Optionen sind ja auch verfügbar :)

Want to acknowledge COLIN the night clerk. He was just getting off his shift when we were trying to find our way to the train station. He walked with us to show us the way and tried to help us solve a credit card issue we had when we tried to buy tickets. Very nice man and very helpful.

My hotel experience was amazing. The front desk staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and with a great view. I ate in the restaurant/bar. Food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly! The hotel is in the perfect location to take the water bus, public transportation, and the cruise port. Would definitely staff here again!

Bij het inchecken bleek onze kamer niet schoon. De receptionist loste dit direct op door ons een grotere kamer aan te bieden met balkon en uitzicht op de Erasmusbrug. We hebben een super verblijf gehad, echt een aanrader dit hotel. Top ligging en goede service.

Bij het inchecken bleek onze kamer niet schoon. De receptionist loste dit direct op door ons een grotere kamer aan te bieden met balkon en uitzicht op de Erasmusbrug. We hebben een super verblijf gehad, echt een aanrader dit hotel. Top ligging en goede service.

Fijn hotel, ontzettend aardig personeel.zowel receptie, als horeca als huishoudelijke dienst. Omboeken naar kamer met zicht op de brug was geen enkel probleem. Hoewel er verbouwd werd, (vandaar 4sterren) hebben we daar geen enkele hinder van ondervonden .

The location of the Thon Rotterdam is excellent. Easy to walk to many places of interest and a main tram stop is right outside the front door. The staff was pleasant and the room was very clean. The only downside was the size of the room and the bathroom. It is very small.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, der Service super, Zimmer war schon früher fertig, sehr schön mit Blick aufs Wasser, das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen dieses Hotel.

Two stops by metro to/from Central station. Big S/M nearby (behind). The room was small. Had a fridge and coffee machine though. From the time I entered the room there was a constant unpleasant smell, like cooking or something. Breakfast was ok. What was awesome about that hotel, was the food at its small restaurant. There are only a few options but it rocks! I had the steak and it was so tender and rightly cooked. Served with potato chips and roasted veggies. And at a reasonable price considering you are in the Netherlands!

My hotel experience was amazing. The front desk staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and with a great view. I ate in the restaurant/bar. Food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly! The hotel is in the perfect location to take the water bus, public transportation, and the cruise port. Would definitely staff here again!

Breakfast options were plentiful and very good, the bar service was friendly and very good, our corner room with large windows and balcony provided excellent views of the river, bridge and passing boat. The layout with sitting area and desk was very useful. Option to use stairs was appreciated. The kind and friendly staff made our visit to this interesting city a pleasure.

Leuke locatie, vriendelijke staff. De badkamer en kamer waren niet top gepoetst. Bij het onbijt zijn er niet genoeg tafeltjes beschikbaar volgens de bezetting van het hotel.

We had a room on the corner of the building overlooking Erasmus Bridge. Watching all the boats on the canal while having a cuppa was great. There are some lovely restaurants a very short walk from the hotel, and museums close by. The tram stop right outside the hotel is very convenient and made exploring the city very easy. Rooms on our floor were being renovated with new furniture etc. Our room definitely needed the upcoming revamp as the chairs in particular were worn and stained. Fantastic radiators meant we could be comfortable during a cold spell. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we did use the bar once - it's a bit tired, service was ordinary and the food/snacks options very limited. Overall, we'd happily stay here again.

This hotel is OK if you are just staying for one night before you go on your cruise ship proximity to the cruise ship is very close short walk over the bridge maybe approximately a half hour walk The hotel is tired. The carpets in the main hall are very dirty. The room itself is very small but clean. There is a on-site restaurant where you can have breakfast for €20 we wanted to get a coffee in the morning however there was not one available seat so we did not use the on-site restaurant
