Very cute beach resort, tastefully decorated with a good restaurant, 2 nice pools and very kind and helpful staff. The beach is small, the sand is course and the water not great for swimming. We stayed in a garden room and if we were to go here again would definitely spring for the pool or sea view rooms as they offer better views and more privacy.

I was nearly a bit cautious about booking Rocky’s because they had so many good reviews I wondered if it was real. I’m so glad I went ahead - this is a hotel that deserves them all. We had a magnificent stay here and were made to feel so welcome by the staff, delicious breakfast, amazing room on the beach….we could go on, but this would rank amongst the one of the best stays I’ve had worldwide. Only one negative - Rocky’s also unfortunately refers to the beach in parts, but the resort does provide reef shoes.

We were super impressed with our stay at Rocky’s. The staff were so warm and friendly and kind. Nothing was any trouble and the facilities were all kept clean. Lots of little extra touches made the experience so enjoyable. BBQ Dinner on the beach on a Saturday night - complimentary cocktails for an hour Thursday night. Happy hour (for two hours) every night. If you don’t want to leave the hotel you don’t need to! Two pools to choose from. Pool table and library. The beach for a swim or take out the sup / canoe for a paddle. Plenty to do!

Great hotel, team and service overall. A little out of the way and taxis not always available to flag down. However, there’s drivers who sometimes give out business cards so can drop them a message for pick up. Breakfast is solid mix of western and Thai :) Beach is not really a beach given how rocky it is - I got an injury whilst there - but take a taxi to Lamai beach (3 mins) and you’re all good.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay at Rockys. We did have an issue of construction happening above our room and stones falling onto us on the balcony but we was swiftly moved into another room which did not have this issue once reported. The resort is immaculate and picturesque with a great vibe. It would be good if prices shown included tax on the menu as its not ideal to constantly have to calculate but its a minor point. Food was also great at the hotel, there is also a great lunch spot that is great value a short walk away that is on the michelin guide. Would highly recommend for a couples stay.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, immer sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend. Vom Check in, zum Frühstück, dem poolservice - grandios. Das Zimmer als auch die ganze anlange war sauber/ gepflegt. Es ist etwas abseits, was aber unserer Meinung nach optimal zum entspannen war. We stayed here in April with our two teenage daughters. Our accommodation was one of the Two Bedroom Pool Villas which was lovely and very spacious and had its own pool. The only thing that let this style of villa down was that they are located next to a busy road with traffic going all night. We are not used to this noise and so found it difficult to sleep. We did let the reception know this and they offered to move us to a different style of accommodation away from the road for a couple of nights but then we would have had to move back for our last night. The staff here were all very friendly, especially the restaurant staff and the buffet breakfast was great. The hotel offers free shuttles to Lamai twice a day and also a shuttle to Chaweng once a day which was great to be able to use. There is also a small supermarket located an easy walk away. Apart from the road noise we enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed here with our 14 month old in a pool suite villa. It was ideal, we moved from the beach to the pool, the pool to the beach. Staff were amazing and new our sons name for every meal. Highly recommend this place! I would stay here again. The transfer to and from the airport also had a baby seat for the car!

The buildings are quite dispersed and the walkways are uneven making it difficult to walk around the property. Also, the interior of the room also has uneven little steps in and out of the bathroom, a big tripped hazard. Breakfast selections were ok. The hot foods never seems to be served hot, Luke warm at best. The staff was definitely kind, cheerful and helpful.

Words cannot explain how amazing this hotel is, from exceptional staff to a stunning location. From the moment you check in they make you welcome and it just gets better.
