The staff was incredibly warm and hospitable. When there was an issue with our room on the 1st night, they resolved it immediately, and without our asking, upgraded our room the next day. Huge appreciations, especially to Ana from the front desk!

A cute hotel but everything seemed to be not working and "out of order". Ice machine, room fridge, ceiling fan, several lights in room and bathroom, shower didn't drain, toilet ran constantly, latch to close a window broken, safe was in closet but closet door only partially opened, smoke alarm beeping but hotel didn't have new batteries. Bathroom was not clean... black spots splattered on floor and walls that I had no problem wiping off with a towel. Glad we were only there one night. Also front desk is not manned 24/7 as advertised...5 groups were outside a locked hotel wanting to check luggage at 10 am before seeing the city...no answer to doorbell or to phone number... one person walked 3 blocks to sister hotel to ask for help. Then no one present at check out...drop the keys in a basket.

Don't trust the amenities as listed: Free breakfast? Nope. Soundproof rooms? Nope...traffic noise kept us up all night. "Refrigerator" in room was a wine cooler = unsafe for food storage, and I got food poisoning. Room was shabby & small. NO elevator. On the plus side, good beds, very nice people, nice courtyard/patio, good location.
