We go away quite frequently. This was by far our most enjoyable trip to date.. Gorgeous cottage in a stunning setting. So peaceful and quiet. The cottage was equipped with everything we could ask for. We had 2 friends drop in and spent 2 days with us. Comfy beds, free wifi, Netflix and Prime available. Berry was a 5 min drive and we shopped till we dropped and stuffed ourselves with Devonshire teas. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed herself in the safe fenced off yard - she had a great time exploring. The pre-booking process was seamless and our host Rosemary was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful property 🙌 Thank you Rosemary 🙏

We enjoyed a 5 night stay at this comfortable, cosy and well-equipped holiday home. Evenings on the front deck looking out across farmland to the hills around Berry as the sun set were a highlight. It is a short and easy drive to either Gerroa and Gerringong and the coast, or into Berry township. We appreciated being able to bring our dog, however the fencing wasn’t adequate to contain a curious medium sized cattle dog cross. If you’re bringing a small dog, the backyard may be better suited.

We had a wonderful & relaxing time, our dogs absolutely loved the fenced garden. It is so good to be in the heart of the country but only 15 mins from the beach too. Would definitely book again. The added touch of a local wine, cheese & crackers was lovely. If (hopefully when) we return I would bring our dog fence/pen as whilst the back is fully fenced, the bbq deck area is at the side of the house open to the front and also the front deck which the bedroom doors open onto has two sets of steps down to the front yard, when out here we had to watch to make sure the dogs didn’t go straight out the drive onto the road as there is no gate. The one thing that did happen was that the gardener turned up around 5pm on the first night to mow, we had no notice and in fact just 10 mins earlier I’d been in the bathroom where the picture window would have given them a view of me in the shower rather than me seeing the country!!

We had a wonderful weekend, the house is lovely & it was so cosy with the fire burning during the evening. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Plus a lovely gesture of wine & nibbles left by Rosemary was appreciated & enjoyed! The beds are comfy & the home feels welcoming. The gardens are beautiful & there are lots of places to sit & enjoy the sun. Communication with Rosemary was excellent, she was very helpful & answered my emails swiftly. Overall a serene & peaceful stay to relax & recharge. 10/10 …..will be back!! Thank you Rosemary for your hospitality

The cottage is set in beautiful grounds and very comfortable. The kitchen, especially, was very well stocked. It is also nicely located, very close to Berry but also on the road to Gerringong which we loved too. Thanks for the dining recommendations - we used them for both lunch and dinner! Thanks for such a lovely stay.

A beautiful country cottage with all the little extras to make the stay lovely. Very comfy beds, all the modern convenience and a lovely outlook to the farmland next door. Our city dogs have never seen a cow before but loved wandering around the property. The property is fully fenced and great for the pups.

This is the type of place where you can really unwind. Beautiful country setting but close to beach and Berry. The house is immaculate and very cosy, and had all the little touches that make a stay special - bottle of wine & cheese in the fridge, bikes & hammock. We loved this place and will be back.

Berta's Cottage was located in a quiet spot with a peaceful location and pretty outlook, yet a short 5 min drive into town. We paid to allow the dog to stay and it was perfect for him too. Very much appreciated treats left for us: jam, milk, wine, cheese and crackers. Thank you Rosemary you were a lovely host to deal with. One tiny suggestion a bath mat inside the bath tub for using the shower would make you feel a little more secure and less afraid of slipping. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Loved the cottage. It was just as advertised. A nice quite area 5 mins from the main street of Berrry and all the lo ely cafes. The unexpected little extras was great, a bottle of wine, hand lotion in the bathrooms. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

This was our third visit to Rosemary's beautiful house. As soon as we stepped out of the car and took in the view from the deck we felt instantly relaxed. The house is set on a lovely country road. Cows mooing and lovely goats as neighbours. All only 5 minutes from Berry town centre. We can't wait to come back again soon.

We and our dog, Sandy, enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was situated in a lovely rural area overlooking dairy farmland. We enjoyed the tranquillity, garden areas and surrounding places to visit. We look forward to staying again.

Lovely little old cottage. Shower was terrible. Beds were comfy. Close to town. Very close to neighbours and a bit noisy.

The cottage is set in beautiful grounds and very comfortable. The kitchen, especially, was very well stocked. It is also nicely located, very close to Berry but also on the road to Gerringong which we loved too. Thanks for the dining recommendations - we used them for both lunch and dinner! Thanks for such a lovely stay.

Loved the cottage. It was just as advertised. A nice quite area 5 mins from the main street of Berrry and all the lo ely cafes. The unexpected little extras was great, a bottle of wine, hand lotion in the bathrooms. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

A great little cottage to relax and unwind in. We particularly loved the front verandah with its wonderful view, and the close proximity to Berry was very handy.

We just had a 3 night stay. Loved sitting on the verhanda looking at the view, sitting in the bath with the window open, log fires and delicious food in Berry. A perfect break.

We go away quite frequently. This was by far our most enjoyable trip to date.. Gorgeous cottage in a stunning setting. So peaceful and quiet. The cottage was equipped with everything we could ask for. We had 2 friends drop in and spent 2 days with us. Comfy beds, free wifi, Netflix and Prime available. Berry was a 5 min drive and we shopped till we dropped and stuffed ourselves with Devonshire teas. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed herself in the safe fenced off yard - she had a great time exploring. The pre-booking process was seamless and our host Rosemary was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful property 🙌 Thank you Rosemary 🙏

We had a wonderful & relaxing time, our dogs absolutely loved the fenced garden. It is so good to be in the heart of the country but only 15 mins from the beach too. Would definitely book again. The added touch of a local wine, cheese & crackers was lovely. If (hopefully when) we return I would bring our dog fence/pen as whilst the back is fully fenced, the bbq deck area is at the side of the house open to the front and also the front deck which the bedroom doors open onto has two sets of steps down to the front yard, when out here we had to watch to make sure the dogs didn’t go straight out the drive onto the road as there is no gate. The one thing that did happen was that the gardener turned up around 5pm on the first night to mow, we had no notice and in fact just 10 mins earlier I’d been in the bathroom where the picture window would have given them a view of me in the shower rather than me seeing the country!!

Berta's Cottage was located in a quiet spot with a peaceful location and pretty outlook, yet a short 5 min drive into town. We paid to allow the dog to stay and it was perfect for him too. Very much appreciated treats left for us: jam, milk, wine, cheese and crackers. Thank you Rosemary you were a lovely host to deal with. One tiny suggestion a bath mat inside the bath tub for using the shower would make you feel a little more secure and less afraid of slipping. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

We had a wonderful weekend, the house is lovely & it was so cosy with the fire burning during the evening. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Plus a lovely gesture of wine & nibbles left by Rosemary was appreciated & enjoyed! The beds are comfy & the home feels welcoming. The gardens are beautiful & there are lots of places to sit & enjoy the sun. Communication with Rosemary was excellent, she was very helpful & answered my emails swiftly. Overall a serene & peaceful stay to relax & recharge. 10/10 …..will be back!! Thank you Rosemary for your hospitality

Our experience was wonderful! The location was amazing and the house was well equipped. We were surrounded by beautiful views as well as neighbouring farm animals which was lovely. My family and I enjoyed our stay as well as our two dogs who loved running around in the backyard that was fenced off and secure.

This is the type of place where you can really unwind. Beautiful country setting but close to beach and Berry. The house is immaculate and very cosy, and had all the little touches that make a stay special - bottle of wine & cheese in the fridge, bikes & hammock. We loved this place and will be back.

We have been coming to Bertas with the family at least annually for about 11 years. It never disappoints. The house is comfortable and well equiped. The BBQ is a special attraction for us. There's lots of space for children and dog to play. Cows, goats, alpacas to be seen. It's relaxing, peaceful, beautiful and only minutes away from lovely Berry and Seven Mile Beach.

Berta’s Cottage is an incredibly special place. The views are stunning, and waking up to the sun rising over the mountains and a lush green landscape is the perfect start to each day. The yard is huge, and securely fenced all the way around. You can open the gates on either side of the house that divide the front and back yards so it’s a big loop for your dog to do zoomies! And there are cows right next door!!I took my elderly mother, and there were only a few steps (with a handrail) up to the front deck at the entrance to the house. Rosemary had kindly answered my questions before booking so I knew both my Mum and my dog were safe.The location is perfect. The cottage is in a very quiet street surrounded by farmland, but it’s just a few minutes drive to the main street in Berry.It’s so incredibly peaceful at Berta’s, and we had the most relaxing holiday. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
