설악산을 좋아하는 제가 캔싱턴 호텔은 매년 가는 호텔입니다. 주변에 새로 생긴 호텔도 방문해봤지만 캔싱턴만큼 좋은 위치와 풍경을 갖춘곳도 없는것 같아요. 화려하진 않지만 정갈하고 조용한 호텔 분위가 좋아서 다른 호텔들보다 만족도가 훨씬 높습니다. 부대 시설이 좀 부족한 감은 있지만 주변에 조금망 나가면 편의점 및 식당도 있도 속초 시내까지도 그리 멀지않아 주변 관광하기조 편리해요. 할머니가 될때까지 매년 찾아갈 수 있게 오래 그 자리를 지켜 주길 바랍니다. 이번 여행도 덕분에 정말 행복했습니다.

친절한 직원 심플한 조식 그리고 향수를 불러오는 레트로 사진들 맘에 듭니다. 찌든듯한 객실 냄새, 불편한 변기등은 개선할 필요가 있다고 생각합니다. 그리고 비오는날 주차장은 불편했음.

식구들과 2박 3일 일정으로 켄싱턴 호텔 설악으로 다녀 왔습니다. 설악산에서의 케이블카를 탑승 할 예정이시라면 최고의 숙박 시설이라고 생각합니다. 호텔 입구에서 도보로 5분 거리에 위치하고 있으며 호텔 주변이 조용해서 쉬기에 더욱 좋습니다. 추가로 호텔에서 근무하시는 분들 모두 친절하고 시설도 너무나 깨끗하게 잘 관리, 유지 되고 있습니다. 매점도 셀프로 운영되고 있고 조식도 훌륭합니다. 로비와 복도 층별마다 전시 된 영국 왕실 및 국내외 유명인사들의 소장품들이 어우려져 보는 재미까지 더해 줍니다. 이번 여름에 짧은 일정으로 머물었지만 이번 가을에 다시 한번 숙발 할 예정입니다. 가족 단위, 연인 단위등 모든 여행객들에게 추천을 드립니다. 👍🙏 We stayed at the Kensington Hotel Seorak for two nights and three days with our family. If you are planning to take the cable car at Seoraksan Mountain, I believe this is one of the best places to stay. The hotel is located just a five-minute walk from the cable car entrance, and the quiet surroundings make it an even better place to relax and unwind. In addition, all of the hotel staff were very friendly, and the facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The convenience store is also self-service, and the breakfast was excellent. One of the highlights of the hotel is the impressive collection of memorabilia displayed throughout the lobby, hallways, and on each floor, including items related to the British Royal Family and famous figures from Korea and around the world. It makes simply walking around the hotel an enjoyable experience. Although we only stayed for a short time this summer, we are already planning to come back and stay again this fall season. I highly recommend this hotel to all types of travelers, whether you are traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends.👍😀
