The smell from the bathroom wasn't great. The toilet seat was old and dirty around the fixtures.. Overpriced for what you got.. Limited kitchen facilities and nowhere to sit inside.. .not worth the money Bed was ok

I would not give it a rating or stay. As I wanted to book two rooms for 2 people with disabilities and noticed the stairs, I rang the property. I was told they had rooms where there would only be a couple of stairs, so I booked the rooms.on arriving at the property, I saw how many stairs there were into each room, they had also booked us into two rooms in the main house with over twenty stairs. I rang the owners, who had already taken the money out of my credit card and refused to give even a partial refund. The male owner then abused me over the phone, I was so upset that I hung up.

Could not wait to leave. Narrow steep stairs killed the knees and hip, light in bathroom didn’t work, building smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night waking all tenants and no explanation from owner or coming to check on cause of alarm. Won’t be back.

Refrigerator had old blood in it from a previous lodger and the floor had not been vacuumed as there was black hair on the floor. The staircase was unsafe for elderly. Not sure what would have happened if there had been a fire!!

It was a nice getaway but we stayed in room 9 and came in late and every step to our room on the main hose creeped it was impossible to sneak up the stair but overall good quiet place

Room seems very old and blankets , towels also look old. May be the Villas are better but the Room and the bathroom is very congested. Looks cheaper compared to what we paid for other accommodations but the price is same.

Check in was fine, room was very compact, but fairly comfortable. However the room was not serviced each day, particularly to take away dirty cups etc, and there were no supplies to wash them yourself. Some of the crockery was dirty before we used it as well.

Our room was not cleaned from the last people who stayed. Bedding didnt smell clean and it had stains on the Bedding. The bin wasn't empty from previous people as there was used ladies personal hygiene in it. Under bed had food and someone undies left there. Would not recommend this place

The room was clean, freshly painted, bright and comfortable. Nice view of the sea (through the carpark) from the balcony. Within walking distance of the Bark Mill (a great place for dinner). The only downside was there was a bit of a mix up with the booking, but the gentleman at the desk sorted it out. Apart from that it was a great stay.

The room was very small, just able to accommodate the queen bed. The bathroom was tiny, like an elongated telephone booth. The fan in the bathroom Tastic didn't work. The sliding door to the bathroom covered the GPO when in the open position. The fridge (also tiny) freezer compartment was iced up and unusable. The stair access to our room (12) exceeded 15 steps in a single flight and I doubt would comply with BCA. There was no sound insulation between the rooms. At $147/night the room was ridiculously overpriced. I expect that Amos House will be the most disappointing accommodation of our 2 week road tour around Tasmania.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The location next to the sea was very quiet and calming, as I could hear the beautiful sounds of the sea. The staff was so wonderful and helpful. I left a small bag and they were able to ship it to my next hotel through the post, which was so extremely kind and helpful of them. The customer service is wonderful. Thank you so much for everything, Swansea Villas!

Good location centrally in Swansea. An older style hotel but you get what you expect and what you pay for so it was comfy and convenient for the night. We had a minor maintenance issue when we checked into our room and the owner was apologetic and helpful in moving us to another one.

Non risultava la mia prenotazione e dopo una ricerca finalmente è stata trovata, inoltre non era per niente amichevole l’uomo alla reception che ci ha fatto notare come unica cosa di non fare il check out assolutamente oltre le 10:00. Per il resto la struttura è probabilmente nello stesso stato da quando è stata costruita e non sembra essere stato fatto nessun lavoro di ristrutturazione

Non risultava la mia prenotazione e dopo una ricerca finalmente è stata trovata, inoltre non era per niente amichevole l’uomo alla reception che ci ha fatto notare come unica cosa di non fare il check out assolutamente oltre le 10:00. I left a small bag and they were able to ship it to my next hotel through the post, which was so extremely kind and helpful of them. The customer service is wonderful. stayed here for 1 night. didnt realise the check in was only until 8 or 8 30. The onsite manager was kind to give me a bit more time to arrive. I didnt use any common facilities, not sure if ther are any. No issues with parking, was very quiet, nice view. The room was old-ish but well maintained - no smell, everything was working. good view, ocean breeze. Easy to check in and out.

View was nice. Very noisy, very hard to get water for the kettle as you had to get it from the very small bathroom vanity. Room was clean, complementary tea and coffee was a joke. One coffee sachet, two tea bags for a 3 day stay. No milk sachets. Very creaky floorboards and you can hear through the walls. Some people dont understand what quiet means. I had to knock on a door and beg a women to be quiet as we and every other person on that level was tring to sleep. The staff were ok .
