One thing needs improvement- the pool is difficult for older people to get out as there are only two short metal steps to climb out. Otherwise I am pleased with our stay.

Most Comfortable bed I've slept in for past 4 months travelling in lots of hotels, breakfast was great, small pool but very nice sunbathing area, I hope the new upgrade doesn't price itself out of the market.

Having to pay $100 per day to park and learning later that guests pay only $50 per day. How is that managed? If your paying as much per night that I was, you shouldn't have to pay to park. Pool is not heated and the hot tub did not work (same cold temperature as the pool). You can not order dinner until after 5pm even if sitting at the bar.

The Crown Plaza at Coogee was awesome. It was very modern and clean and in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and the facilities including the pool and gym are great and kept clean and tidy. There is a great restaurant in the building with great food and drinks. We would definitely stay there again!

We weren’t impressed by the breakfast. The room was comfortable without being amazing. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The pool area definitely needs an upgrade, which I believe is happening soon. Whilst it was ok, I wouldn’t pay the money to stay there again.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and spacious room which was very clean with good facilities. Check in was good, friendly and experienced receptionist who gave clear instructions on parking etc. Some of public areas a little less tidy. Very well located near to beach, restaurants and shops.

We were excited to stay at the Crown however were sadly disappointed at the poor cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was full of mould, drain had hundreds of little flies everywhere, carpet was filthy, thick dust on all the furniture and the beds poorly made. No housekeeping received during our 4 night stay even though we asked many times. In room dining service received was very slow, food cold and ice cream completely melted. Shutters and Estate restaurants, the pool, and proximity to everywhere was amazing however. Parking $35 is steep given the standard room rate is $500-600 a night… when Coogee Sands Hotel down the road offer free parking.

De locatie is en blijft uniek,maar voor de rest is het hotel echt aan renovatie toe.Tbv de forse prijs op basis van 13 nachten krijg je n relatief kleine kamer en badkamer.Badkamer met open afvoerputje..! 2x een grote kakkerlak op de kamer gehad je schrikt je dood zo'n ding van 5/6 cm.ijskastje erg klein en niet schoon.Zwembad te klein en verouderd in relatie tot omvang hotel.Ontbijtzaal echt niet hygiënisch veel stof en vuil vooral raamzijde.Maak dat eens goed schoon zou ik zeggen..Personeel is van hoede wil hoor...maar voor dit forse bedrag zijn wij echt beter gewend in Australie.Ook wordt er nog een extra servicefee gerekend van 100 AUD wat nergens vooraf gespecificeerd werd.KORTOM hier faan wij niet meer naartoe..

The front desk was among the best I have dealt with, friendly, helpful, nice to talk to. The water view rooms are spectacular. A big improvement would be to update the old AC in some rooms (ours). The halls and lobby was cool but the room was hot throughout the night

We loved this hotel, it has a great location next to Coogee Beach. The room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. We stayed in an ocean view room, with a balcony, which was so nice.

Being right in front of the beach, we got to take a stroll in the evening and again in the morning. I accidentally made a mistake and booked for the night before so when I arrived I had to pay again for the night. The TV only had free to air channels and even those channels had terrible reception. Considering how much the room was, found this quite annoying. Went to use the pool and there were no towels, so had to go down to reception and ask. Then could not figure out how to turn on the spa and could not be bothered to go down to reception again to ask.

Needs a Reno badly, but it’s fine, biggest issue was the Air conditioning, or lack of, only managed a few hours sleep each night as it was shocking… Was a big issue for me unfortunately, if this wasn’t an issue, would have been pretty positive

Really nice hotel with great location and rooms for the most part. My bathroom was a little dated but the rest of the room and hotel was brilliant & I had the best sleep. Could probably do with employing additional concierge as check in was quite slow.

1) Suggest staff should ask guest at checking if they need slippers. So we don’t need to call reception later. 2) We called reception to get plates and forks for our birthday cake. Reception said they need to charge 8 AUD for delivering them. I had never experienced this so decided to go down to the restaurant and ask for help.

We love this hotel and location. The staff is so accommodating and helpful. They always try to get your rooms ready early or store your luggage while you wait. Coogee beach is an ideal beach.

All of the staff was so wonderful and helpful both in hospitality and recommendations on where to eat and hang out. Evelyn in dining was particularly helpful and very friendly. Out bell hoppers were also so lovely as well, can’t remember the woman’s name but she helped with our bags and was so friendly. Hannah from reception was especially kind to us since we had been very jet lagged and she was so accommodating. Thank you all for the lovely experience and good food in the restaurant.

Excellent hotel in the perfect position for Coogee Beach and local area, u can easily walk to the many bars, pubs and restaurants. Our room was set out great and whilst in bed u can look out the doors to the town or beach. We are back in Coogee in a few days time and have re-booked

Foi muito boa a estadia. Coogee é um lugar ótimo para ficar. Tem um centrinho cheio de cafés, pubs e restaurantes, além de uma bela praia. O ponto de ônibus para o centro de Sydney é na frente no hotel e leva uns 25 minutos. A recepção é muito prestativa. Na frente do hotel tem um restaurante asiático que é excelente.

Foi muito boa a estadia. Coogee é um lugar ótimo para ficar. Tem um centrinho cheio de cafés, pubs e restaurantes, além de uma bela praia. O ponto de ônibus para o centro de Sydney é na frente no hotel e leva uns 25 minutos. A recepção é muito prestativa. Na frente do hotel tem um restaurante asiático que é excelente.

Great location on Coogee Beach! Great for access to Coogee to Bondi beach walk. Plenty of restaurants near by. Lobby is nice, updated. Rooms less so. Would stay again if ever in Sydney, but mostly because it looks like the best option with close beach access.

This is the perfect place to start your Australian adventure! Very close to the airport, along a beautiful beach. A wonderful place to rest after a long journey. From here you can spread out easily to explore Sydney, or move on to other destinations if that is the plan. Well kept, well staffed and accommodating. Good job all!

Jag och min familj hade en mycket skön vistelse på hotellet. Frukosten var exceptionell och hotellets läge var utmärkt. Nära till stranden och till de livfulla gatorna med restauranger. Det var även nära till busshållplatsen.

Die Lage des Hotels erlaubt eine wunderbare Aussicht auf den Strand, ob beim Frühstück oder vom Balkon eigenen Zimmers (entsprechende Buchung erforderlich). Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft. Am ersten Morgen war der Service sehr zuvorkommen, am zweiten eher nicht mehr. Das Doppelbett war sehr bequem und lud zum Entspannen zwischen den Strandgängen ein.

The hotel breakfast is unreal next to none. It’s ideally located very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Ward was on reception and was very helpful. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay. The pool deck was great, the restaurant was amazing, breakfast superb, everything was great. Such great service everywhere. My 9 year old twins had their first hotel experience and just loved it. We will be back

Most Comfortable bed I've slept in for past 4 months travelling in lots of hotels, breakfast was great, small pool but very nice sunbathing area, I hope the new upgrade doesn't price itself out of the market.

It is a fantastic hotel. It has the best breakfast. The food is so good. Location is ideal just on the beach and so central. Walking distance of shops and restaurants etc…

We were excited to stay at the Crown however were sadly disappointed at the poor cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was full of mould, drain had hundreds of little flies everywhere, carpet was filthy, thick dust on all the furniture and the beds poorly made. No housekeeping received during our 4 night stay even though we asked many times. In room dining service received was very slow, food cold and ice cream completely melted. Shutters and Estate restaurants, the pool, and proximity to everywhere was amazing however. Parking $35 is steep given the standard room rate is $500-600 a night… when Coogee Sands Hotel down the road offer free parking.

Beautiful hotel with a great location. The breakfast was the best I have ever had offered at a hotel. The room was very clean the staff was very helpful when needed. Just a great experience.

We weren’t impressed by the breakfast. The room was comfortable without being amazing. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The pool area definitely needs an upgrade, which I believe is happening soon. Whilst it was ok, I wouldn’t pay the money to stay there again.

Excellent hotel in Coogee with great views. Very close to the beach and good access to public trasport. Great customer service. Dinner Shutters was very good.

All of the staff was so wonderful and helpful both in hospitality and recommendations on where to eat and hang out. Evelyn in dining was particularly helpful and very friendly. Out bell hoppers were also so lovely as well, can’t remember the woman’s name but she helped with our bags and was so friendly. Hannah from reception was especially kind to us since we had been very jet lagged and she was so accommodating. Thank you all for the lovely experience and good food in the restaurant.

Having to pay $100 per day to park and learning later that guests pay only $50 per day. How is that managed? If your paying as much per night that I was, you shouldn't have to pay to park. Pool is not heated and the hot tub did not work (same cold temperature as the pool). You can not order dinner until after 5pm even if sitting at the bar.
