Excellent location near cruise terminal. Only disappointment was no restaurant and no bar but that was our fault for not checking. Another Rendezvous we have stayed I had a bar and restaurant so it pays not to make assumptions.

Location, location, location. This hotel was perfect for a pre cruise stay. We walked out luggage to the drop off point in under 5 minutes. Many restaurants and pubs nearby and a convenience store just a few doors away. The kitchenette was well stocked but there was no dining table. There is no bar not restaurant on site but the pool area, which included a spa pool was very inviting. If you wish for a port view ensure you reserve a balcony above the 3rd floor...

Great location for any tourist. The room was good, but the furniture was a bit dated. The staff were very nice. The pool area was not inviting. Ceramic tile were missing. The area needed a good power washing. But, though the place needed some updating, I’d easily choose to stay there again.

It was fun staying in an old terrace. Some of the rooms are old terrace houses, which is quite unique. The staff were very nice. The pool area looked a bit old and could do with some updating. Overall a nice quiet place to stay. Would go back.

We had a pleasant stay at the Rendezvous Hotel. Communication through Hotels.com was excellent — the staff responded promptly and were helpful throughout our booking. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, and basic essentials, making our stay convenient. We also appreciated the on-site laundry room (open 6 AM to 9 PM), though be aware it’s coin-operated — coins are available at the front desk. The gym was a nice bonus for keeping up with our routine. The highlight was definitely the balcony, offering stunning views of the bridge and Opera House — a perfect spot to relax. The only downside was when a cruise ship docked, it completely blocked the Opera House view. Also, while the room was clean overall, the carpet was very dated and looked worn, and could use an update to match the rest of the space. Overall, a good stay with fantastic views and a great location!

Staff very friendly and location excellent plus onsite laundry. Our room Had a kitchen but no grocery stores with any produce within walking distance so we did not use it except for tea. Pool had leaves and was not heated. Spa heate cwas broken and hot water in kitchen did not work. So it needs some upkeep.

Great location and for price adequate. Need more staff on front desk when busy and the room while large was very tired looking. Bathroom in particular needs a refresh. Beds great! It is a noisy area but too be expected in the rocks. Pool area ok. Shame spa wasn’t operating.

Great location but the property is in desperate need of an update and repairs. The gym equipment was broken borderline dangerous, fridge handle was missing and overall the rooms are outdated.

Run down accommodation not in good condition. Very loud air-conditioning/bathroom exhaust vent, cockroaches, dirty mouldy verandah, uncomfortable bed- 2 single beds put together kept moving- requested for queen bed, sloping old mattress. Dusty old carpeted floors.

Very unhygienic i thought i could deal with the very dirty floor and vent filled with clumps of dust Bathroom had blood on the wall and vent falling from the roof What really did it for me was the hair and stains on the bed when i pulled the covers back i got my son we ended up leaving and asking for a refund the staff could not relocate us to another room due to alot of other people having similar issues they were happy to give me a full refund which i have received i would not stay here again unless it had an overhaul with the cleanliness and updating of rooms

The property is so close to Circular Quay. The check in was quick and easy.The room was spotless and it had the comfiest bed ever. Definitely recommend this property 👌

Good location. This is an older hotel and is showing its age inside. The studio room was not as nice as advertised and not well maintained, repairs obvious, mouldly bathroom ceiling edges, dusty,. "coffee and tea maker" is a kettle and instant coffee and tea bags. I asked for a plunger and was they didn't have one Staff friendly and accommodating. Mentioned it was a birthday visit and was given a bottle of wine which was really appreciated. Was just a little disappointed in the room and value.

Great location for the Overseas Cruise Terminal. Room and bathroom was clean. We had a slight question about the air conditioning and a staff member attended within 3 minutes to fix. Would definitely stay again.

This was a classic hotel experience for us. The room was very clean, although dated. We were impressed by the steam cleaning of the bathroom. Our view was lovely out our window. The concierge was friendly and helpful.

The on-site management of the property was excellent. There was a problem with a cockroach in the bathroom. If the on-site mangement is responsible, and given the property funding to mitigate the issue with the cockroaches, great. But I suspect the issue is with the people who own the property and don’t manage it themselves well.

Location is perfect so close to everything, we stayed in the heritage section this time the stairs were a bit much and it is noisy, the spa is in desperate need of a makeover and only worked once and that was on the day we left. Staff as per usual were amazing, they couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. I love this place

This hotel was a sad completion of my 24 day trip. Bed was good, room decent but the air conditioner did not work! It was hot in Sydney those 2 nights and we could not sleep at all! The HVAC clanked all night and made it torturous nights. Please renovate this a/c or take the rendezvous name off of it! Hotel did offer a small refund of 80 bucks. But wish to get compensation from hotels.com Great location otherwise!

We stayed in a room facing Harrington St & whilst we assumed we’d be affected by some street noise, this was something else. We were woken at least a dozen times by pedestrians, not all talking excessively loud. This hotel needs to invest in double-glazing to manage this issue.

Had a 3 day stay. Excellent spot, so close to circular quay and city amenities. Room had an excellent view of the Opera house, except when cruise liners were in port, although they didn't stay long. Room was clean, although there was blue masking tape on the ceiling in the room entry, staff were very friendly and accommodating, bathroom was very dated, shower poor as water pressure was very poor.

Staff was wonderful but room was very dated and disappointing; nothing like the pictures on the website. Location was perfect. The "Harbour View" did not exist because large of large cruise ship. At night when the cruise ship departed we had a great view of the Opera House but the next morning there was another cruise ship.

Our room was nice. Needs a little updating but comfortable. I would suggest that they invest in a coffee machine that makes real coffee instead of the hot pot and instant coffee. Was located centrally in the rocks so easy walk everywhere. A big thanks to the front desk! My husband left his cell phone in the room and the hotel actually sent it in a taxi to the White Bay Cruise Terminal.

The only things nice about this hotel is the location and the lobby. The rest of the hotel did not get any renovation. Starting from the elevators is possible to understand the bad status of the rest of the hotel. The receptionist was not really a welcoming person and not with a professional behavior. Our room had the following issues: - HEATING SYSTEM NOT WORKING (we had to ask in the middle of the night a fan to warm up the room) - HOLES AND MOLD IN THE BATH TUB - BATHROOM AND ROOM FANS GRILLS VERY DIRTY - BIG STAINS ON SOFA AND CURTAINS - DUST IN CLOSETS, KITCHEN AND WORKING DESK - ELECTRIC PLUGS VERY HOLD - KITCHEN CABINETS VERY HOLD AND WITH CHIPPED PANELS - REPAIR ON A WALL NOT PAINTED - WATER LEAK STAIN ON THE CEILING - VENTILATION GRILL FELL DURING THE NIGHT WAKING UP ALL OF US - STAINS ON THE CARPET - TEMPERATURE WALL CONTROL VERY OLD It turned out to be a complete different experience respect what we thought. Not recommended !!!

Our room had the following issues: - HEATING SYSTEM NOT WORKING (we had to ask in the middle of the night a fan to warm up the room) - HOLES AND MOLD IN THE BATH TUB - BATHROOM AND ROOM FANS GRILLS VERY DIRTY - BIG STAINS ON SOFA AND CURTAINS - DUST IN CLOSETS, KITCHEN AND WORKING DESK - ELECTRIC PLUGS VERY HOLD - KITCHEN CABINETS VERY HOLD AND WITH CHIPPED PANELS - REPAIR ON A WALL NOT PAINTED - WATER LEAK STAIN ON THE CEILING - VENTILATION GRILL FELL DURING THE NIGHT WAKING UP ALL OF US - STAINS ON THE CARPET - TEMPERATURE WALL CONTROL VERY OLD It turned out to be a complete different experience respect what we thought. Not recommended !!!

Checked in after a cruise extremely ill. Staff went out of their way to make up my room as soon as possible. So grateful for that. They bought me bottles water and were very helpful.

This hotel when booked in advance is good value for money and if cruising you can roll your bag down the cobblestones to the port. It is in a tourist area so everything is expensive and usually busy if a boat is in. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us an upgrade without being asked for

Great location for the Overseas Cruise Terminal. Room and bathroom was clean. We had a slight question about the air conditioning and a staff member attended within 3 minutes to fix. Would definitely stay again.

As you would expect from a large hotel chain, the room and amenities were clean, the hotel is in a great spot, within the Rocks precinct so much history, easy walking to the opera house and the bridge, HoHo bus just around the corner, pubs and beautiful restaurants all around.

The hotel needs a little love,but clean,and the location is great. We easily walked from the cruise port with 2 big suitcases. The king size bet was comfortable, and the shower was great. We’ll stay here again.

Let’s face it, the premises are well past needing a lick of paint and some repairs. That said, the location is superb, the staff are polite and helpful, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, the bathrooms are big enough with great hot water. This was a return stay, and we’ll probably stay here again when we pass through Sydney. PS - situated right near the cruise terminal! A short walk to the bridge and opera house.

Absolutely spot on location for exploring Sydney with ferry trains and trams on your doorstep as well as restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were really welcoming and helpful. We stayed in room 608 with a harbour view and not sure you'd find a better view in Sydney for the money. Overall really great stay.

Loved the location close to Circular Quey and the cruise terminal. Stayed here 2 nights before my cruise and it was easy to walk from the hotel to the cruise port and other attractions in The Rocks.

The best spot to stay to visit many of Sydney’s classic icons! Walk amongst the historic laneways of the Rocks , visit The Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Modern Art Gallery and Botanic Gardens. Everything is virtually visible from this great spot!

Excellent location ... perfectly placed for a city break in Sydney. Within an easy 15 minute walk of Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge and right in the heart of the historic Rocks district. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Rooms are a little tired but very acceptable. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Overall great value for money.

Our room was nice. Needs a little updating but comfortable. I would suggest that they invest in a coffee machine that makes real coffee instead of the hot pot and instant coffee. Was located centrally in the rocks so easy walk everywhere. A big thanks to the front desk! My husband left his cell phone in the room and the hotel actually sent it in a taxi to the White Bay Cruise Terminal.

we had a clean but run down room, carpet was worn and the decor was old. However the hotel is situated in a really good location. The pool looked clean but the jacuzzi again was old and not that warm. Dont pay for breakfast its not in the hotel but in a local cafe which ends up being expensive compared to other cafe's with a better veiw and menu they did look after our bags before and after room check out, and the staff were very helpful and polite

This property is very close to everything in the rocks. On the flip side, if you want a king or superior king room you will get two single beds put together which was uncomfortable. We paid a lot of money for 1 night as we don’t travel often and about the only good thing was the shower pressure but it wasn’t very clean. The rooms are outdated and they don’t have room service. Our room phone has been unplugged and this took a while to work out before we could contact reception. No usb charging ports in the room either so you will have to take your whole charger for a phone. This was disappointing for the price we paid.

Excellent location near cruise terminal. Only disappointment was no restaurant and no bar but that was our fault for not checking. Another Rendezvous we have stayed I had a bar and restaurant so it pays not to make assumptions.

Location, location, location. This hotel was perfect for a pre cruise stay. We walked out luggage to the drop off point in under 5 minutes. Many restaurants and pubs nearby and a convenience store just a few doors away. The kitchenette was well stocked but there was no dining table. There is no bar not restaurant on site but the pool area, which included a spa pool was very inviting. If you wish for a port view ensure you reserve a balcony above the 3rd floor...

If ur travelling in the city with ur family and looking for hotel to stay I highly recommend this hotel save u from eating dine in outside because the room has own kitchen and u can cook healthy meals for ur family Cole’s is just 15min walk form it.

Great location and quite cool with the heritage. What was super disappointing was check out was 11 and we had someone come in our room at 10.05 without knocking and we where in the middle of showering

Room was nice and cosy enough with a comfortable bed albeit the age of the room and lack of maintenance let the room down and the overall stay. Parking was expensive but that's Sydney for you and location near the Rocks attracts a higher price. Biggest letdown of the room was the antiquated HVAC Sydney which didn't Work properly for airflow and made a lot of noise, the exhaust in the bathroom was broken which led to a large amount of mould forming as well as a brownish blood appearance stain on one of the white sheets. The location and others amenities where good and the overall hotel was quiet.

The staff was great. We had a spacious room, very comfortable bed, and a large balcony with a great view! The location was excellent and the hotel had all the amenities we needed.
