Great location and very clean. The roof top area with pool is excellent and has an amazing view and great service. Breakfast is excellent with a variety of options and is located on the beach with seafront view. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The SPA and jacuzzi located at the 5th floor has perfect settings for a great relax time with snacks provided. For the room, make sure you check the type of bed you are getting because they have a lot of twin beds but they can change mattresses and give you the queen or king you want.

The staff was kind and courteous. The room was clean, modern and the staff upgraded us to a beautiful ocean view! The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the bar in the lobby had great ambience. Housekeeping was attentive and allowed us to have an extra fridge in the room too. This was an amazing hotel with a great location. Would definitely come here again!

Overpriced, dated, packed hotel on the beachfront with poor service This is a well located hotel which unfortunately suffers from indifferent staff, tiny roof pool (with 50 beds in a hotel of more than 500) dated rooms and noisy toilets from other rooms audible in rooms. Pricing for what you get for all the above is extortionate. The tiny rooftop pool experience (50 beds for 550 people ) is a nightmare, full of screaming kids (many of whom are not even from the hotel - the sunbeds just taken up by tel aviv locals who live nearby with virtually no checking by the staff (this was confirmed to me by several people I spoke to that this hotel is famous as a place for people nearby to come and get a free swim). We were regularly woken in the morning and overnight by the dated plumbing : every time a neighbouring or above room is flushed it is loudly audible within the room. Food - average. Staff: yawning, tired, overworked and couldn’t care less. For anyone who isn’t really price conscious or not spending much time in the hotel, to visit other parts of tel aviv- and not particularly needing a good night’s sleep - this is fine. For anyone else - don’t waste your hard earned money on this failing and dated hotel.

Tel Aviv waterfront is pricey! We tried several hotels in Tel Aviv and found Carlton to offer the best value, especially if you have your heart set on a hotel with a rooftop pool with a restaurant (and who wouldn't!)

Our stay at the Carlton was one of the best hotel experiences ever... from the time of check in until the minute we left, we were treated like we were special guests. I would like to give a special acknowledgment to Gila who provided amazing customer service. She is very special and I hope the hotel knows how good she is at her job! The hotel rooms were comfortable, the spa was great, and the rooftop pool and jacuzzi amazing. We had a rental car and they provided valet service which cost around $40/ day but was worth every cent due to the convenience. The breakfast was wonderful and had a view of the beach/surfers/marina. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was our third visit to the Carlton. We loved it. The service is the strongest we’ve seen in Tel Aviv. Warm, welcoming and friendly. They even sent up some halva to the room for us to enjoy. Fantastic Israeli breakfast. We chose an executive floor this time and we really enjoyed the service and food in the executive lounge. The room was great with incredible views of the Tel Aviv coastline.

I recently stayed 2 nights at Carlton Tel Aviv visiting from Australia. My thoughts were that the customer service was friendly and helpful, the room and hotel property/amenities overall was very well presented and clean. I would recommend trying the buffet breakfast by the beach if you happen to stay there. Overall great location, I had hired a car and was a bit unsure about parking though I had read that there was parking 350ft away. However to my convenience there was/is paid underground parking where the hotel is located and a lift that took me straight to the reception. Had a wonderful stay and I personally think a great hotel to stay in Tel Aviv.

Excelente ubicación el hotel muy correcto , lo unico malo fue que eligimos esta propiedad por sibre otras porque decia tener esta ionamiento y no solo no tiene si no que estar en la zona es imposible y el Estacionamiento cercano es carisimo

Housekeeping was terrible. Fresh towels were not provided each morning. I had to request fresh towels, even though the old ones were removed. They did not replace the toiletries, nor did they replace tea and coffee.

I did not like this stay, at all. I will not be coming back and I would not recommend it to anyone. Let me first say, I used to be a big fan of this hotel, stayed in it several times and used the spa several times. Through the years the hotel slowly deteriorated, and as other 5 star hotels got upgraded and built in Tel-Aviv the Carlton didn't keep up with them. The final straw on this stay was abnoctious behavior by the staff, trying to communicate a perfectly sensible rule. This followed a check in to a smelly room with Marina view VS the full sea view I booked. The room we were moved to was dirty, especially the showers that I ended up cleaning myself. If you're a tourist, do yourself a favour, book one of the other excellent 5 star hotels in Tel-Aviv.

Absolutely amazing stay in the Carlton, staff were extremely helpful room was exceptionally clean and pool has amazing views. The breakfast is definitely the highlight everything you can imagine on offer and delicious. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

The Carlton is a great hotel. Not too big or small, and an excellent breakfast and restaurant. The rooms, however, are not amazing. I purposely booked a renovated room and was told I would be “upgraded” to a sea view. Except that room was old, no USB plugs, the electrics did not work and the bathroom was very old. When I asked to be moved back to my original booking they gave me a better more spacious room, but the bathroom was exceptionally dirty. Limescale everywhere and dirty surfaces and floor. The staff were courteous and tried to be helpful, I think. I eventually met with the manager who was apologetic and offered to help me “next time” I booked. He was very friendly and also tried to manage customer expectations, I guess. But there was no compensation or anything other than happy to be help me next time. The Carlton has got to improve the rooms and customer service or we will lose out on a fantastic hotel in a perfect location, and just book elsewhere.

The tiny rooftop pool experience (50 beds for 550 people ) is a nightmare, full of screaming kids (many of whom are not even from the hotel - the sunbeds just taken up by tel aviv locals who live nearby with virtually no checking by the staff (this was confirmed to me by several people I spoke to that this hotel is famous as a place for people nearby to come and get a free swim). We were regularly woken in the morning and overnight by the dated plumbing : every time a neighbouring or above room is flushed it is loudly audible within the room. Food - average. Staff: yawning, tired, overworked and couldn’t care less. For anyone who isn’t really price conscious or not spending much time in the hotel, to visit other parts of tel aviv- and not particularly needing a good night’s sleep - this is fine. For anyone else - don’t waste your hard earned money on this failing and dated hotel.

We had an unforgettable stay at Carlton Tel Aviv while celebrating a birthday and Valentine’s Day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special, with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. Our room was elegant, spacious, and offered stunning views of the Mediterranean—perfect for a romantic getaway. The hotel even surprised us with a special treat for the occasion, which made the celebration even more memorable. Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and served with a breathtaking sea view. The rooftop pool and lounge were perfect for relaxation, and the hotel’s location right by the beach made it easy to enjoy romantic walks along the promenade. Everything was flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Carlton Tel Aviv exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!

This was our third visit to the Carlton. We loved it. The service is the strongest we’ve seen in Tel Aviv. Warm, welcoming and friendly. They even sent up some halva to the room for us to enjoy. Fantastic Israeli breakfast. We chose an executive floor this time and we really enjoyed the service and food in the executive lounge. The room was great with incredible views of the Tel Aviv coastline.

Lovely hotel right off the promenade. Room was smallish but lovely with nice amenities, including bathrobes. I was greeted with a refreshing drink and found bottled water, apples and dates in the room. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. They generously gave me a free breakfast which is typically an up charge. And what a breakfast!! Superb! I would happily stay here again.

The hotel staff are lovely, hotel position is great as is the breakfast. Unfortunately we found the bed extremely uncomfortable ( very very hard) in fairness to the staff they tried to add extra padding and pillows but being honest this did not solve the issue, this would put us off staying again. Hotel bedrooms are in need of modernisation so maybe they will change beds. The position of the hotel is excellent as are the staff.

The Carlton is a great hotel. Not too big or small, and an excellent breakfast and restaurant. The rooms, however, are not amazing. I purposely booked a renovated room and was told I would be “upgraded” to a sea view. Except that room was old, no USB plugs, the electrics did not work and the bathroom was very old. When I asked to be moved back to my original booking they gave me a better more spacious room, but the bathroom was exceptionally dirty. Limescale everywhere and dirty surfaces and floor. The staff were courteous and tried to be helpful, I think. I eventually met with the manager who was apologetic and offered to help me “next time” I booked. He was very friendly and also tried to manage customer expectations, I guess. But there was no compensation or anything other than happy to be help me next time. The Carlton has got to improve the rooms and customer service or we will lose out on a fantastic hotel in a perfect location, and just book elsewhere.

The staff was kind and courteous. The room was clean, modern and the staff upgraded us to a beautiful ocean view! The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the bar in the lobby had great ambience. Housekeeping was attentive and allowed us to have an extra fridge in the room too. This was an amazing hotel with a great location. Would definitely come here again!

Overpriced, dated, packed hotel on the beachfront with poor service This is a well located hotel which unfortunately suffers from indifferent staff, tiny roof pool (with 50 beds in a hotel of more than 500) dated rooms and noisy toilets from other rooms audible in rooms. Amazing hotel. Location, rooms, food and staff are simply amazing. The breakfast buffet is the best I have seen. The staff is always kind and constantly trying to help. Special thanks to Fabian who took care of us, found a doctor that came to the hotel to help me and made sure I had all I needed. Same with Shila at the breakfast, who was sending me special teas to help me with my recovery.

I have stayed at many hotels in Israel, and I keep coming back to the Carlton for their personalized care and concern for each of their guests. The small feel and personal attention from the staff, I cannot find at other Tel Aviv hotels. The breakfast is incredible and varied and the hotel manager, Gila, comes every morning to breakfast and walks around to each table asking guests how their stay is and if they need anything - this kind of attention is rare and something that draws me back to the hotel each and every time. Gila is warm is wonderful as is the rest of the staff. I have never had a bad experience at this hotel and promise you won't be sorry to stay here. It is in a great location near everything and right on the beach. It's my go-to stay in Tel Aviv trip after trip.

Great location, right on the best beach in Tel Aviv with great access to good restaurants. Hotel is quite dated and could use a renovation in the near future. Service is solid. Quite expensive for the quality but options in Tel Aviv are limited. Not a 5 star property but a solid 4 star.

I will for sure be staying here again upon my next trip to Tel Aviv. Great sea view room and amazing service from all staff. Finally, one of the most extensive breakfast buffets, as close to the sea as you could get.

There was no room service, we asked few times to get towels and the staff said they will bring us - and it was never happened, although we asked 3 times. The bed is small 1.4ish meters, room was not so clean as you expect from 5 stars hotel. There was no espresso machine while there were capsules at the room… Most disappointing thing that the rooftop pool and jacuzzi close at 8 pm - so you can’t even enjoy the rooftop bar at the evening. The staff wouldn’t let us to stay until 8, he already asked us to leave 7 min before closing.

The bed is small 1.4ish meters, room was not so clean as you expect from 5 stars hotel. There was no espresso machine while there were capsules at the room… Most disappointing thing that the rooftop pool and jacuzzi close at 8 pm - so you can’t even enjoy the rooftop bar at the evening. The staff wouldn’t let us to stay until 8, he already asked us to leave 7 min before closing.

Allereerst wil ik beginnen met een speciale dank voor het personeel. Vanaf diegene die onze auto ging parkeren, tot en met diegene die ons uitcheckte, iedereen was aardig, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het is voor mij dat wat de grootste indruk op mij heeft achtergelaten. Ondanks dat we iets te vroeg aankwamen, was onze prachtige kamer al klaar, met in de kamer heerlijke pralines en fruit. We hadden een prachtige kamer met zicht op zee en met een balkon. Het ontbijt de volgende dag was heerlijk maar vooral de locatie van het ontbijt is bijzonder. Je eet aan het strand, een beter begin van de dag is er niet. We kwamen na het ontbijt weer op de kamer en ondertussen was die al schoongemaakt, heerlijk. Bij het zwembad hebben ze heerlijke ligstoelen. Dit hotel, is ook voor de verwende reiziger, echt een aanrader. Wij komen er zeker nog een keer terug.
