We were pleasantly greeted by the host Malaika's kind and welcoming smile. We had a great view and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Mr Hassan (part owner) also picked us up from the airport. Breakfast was sumptuous and promptly served at 8 AM. The dining has a great view. Mohammet and his companion served coffee, juice and Tea and were conversant in English. The location of Villas is right inside the oriental market where alleyways lead to other wonderful shops/markets. This is no doubt a great place in the middle of the town, walking distance to the beach, boat harbor, restaurants and shops. Most tours and tour guides start at 7-7:30 am. The breakfast is served at 8 am. You will miss a great breakfast unless you alter you tour timings. ( We really wished that the breakfast could be served at 7 am so most visitors can enjoy the view and the breakfast) there is a great pool and three other lounging ares with bar and Hooks service. The view from all of these lounges is spectacular. We were there for 4 night and visited the Ephesus ruins and Mary's house. Also took a one hour boat ride to the Greek island Samos. We spent the day there just roaming the town and enjoying the cafes on the beach. one last noteworthy thing is that in order to get to Villas, you have to climb about 35 steep steps but it is worth it. One day we were leaving early and Malaika packed a breakfast for us. That was so kind of her. Highly recommended.

The property has kind and attentive staff, lovely seating garden areas, a small pool and walkways with beautiful mosaics, and a terrace with a view out to the harbor. The terrace includes a bar and some bar food. This property is a peaceful and beautiful refuge from the busy port. Don’t be put off by the stairs and area leading up to the Villa, once you enter the property it’s another world of beauty and sophistication. Kudus to the owners and staff.

We had a great stay. Comfortable bed, clean room, nice water pressure in the shower. Cute hotel with decorative details, amazing breakfast, and helpful staff. Roof terrace provides great views of sunrise and sunset. You can get drinks and snacks there.

This hotel is a hidden gem! We stayed here for 11 nights in Sep/Oct 2025 and absolutely loved it. The hotel is minutes away from the port and the old town, with lots of shops and restaurants close by, but a note to consider - access to the hotel from the old town is up a steep flight of steps, (the staff will meet you and carry your luggage up and down), but something to consider if you have mobility issues. If you don't, don't let steps put you off! The hotel is a beautiful arrangement of small buildings, with only a handful of rooms in each. We had a premium room and it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff are dedicated to your comfort, so if you needed a softer/harder pillow they can provide. There is a bar terrace at the very top (more stairs) with comfy chairs and fantastic views over the town. It's a wonderful place to have a drink and watch the sun set and the boats depart. Breakfasts are amazing! All vegetarian, great spread of turkish eats/delights - menemen, olives, fruit, pastries, jams, breads, hummus and dips, and slightly different everyday. My partner is vegan and the staff were amazing at adjusting foods for him and ensuring he had lots to eat. Kept us going until dinner time. Lastly, the staff were wonderful, incredibly friendly and Melek (the manager) helped us organise all of our excursions, restaurant bookings and transfers. Would I go back? Absolutely - in a heartbeat! Massive thank you to Villa Ephesus for a great stay.

The villa was beautifully furnished with many areas to relax - a couple of terraces with fabulous views and an enjoyable pool area. This hotel is beautiful and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast was really good and is inclusive. We had wonderful views. This was one of the best hotel stays of my life. The staff met us at 2am when we checked in. They went above and beyond over and over! I would caution American visitors that parking is challenging and the area looks a little sketchy at night. We did meet several neighbors of the hotel and they were all lovely. We encountered zero issues with safety and our rental car had zero issues. The streets are very steep and very narrow. Please discuss driving and parking with the hotel prior to arrival to avoid surprise. Despite the challenge in getting there, it is well worth a stay.

What a wonderful hotel. We stayed at Villa Ephesus for 4 nights before joining a cruise. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the port and right in the town however very quiet and peaceful. We had a late flight arrival at Izmir and arranged our transfer with Melek who was very welcoming and contacted us prior to our visit with details for our stay. We had lovely Turkish breakfast each morning. The hotel was very peaceful and we had a lovely relaxing stay. There is a mosaic on the bottom of the pool which Melek advised is a copy of one of the mosaics in the Terraced House at Ephesus, which we found when we visited for the day. We took the dolmus from the Main Street and the entrance is only a 10 -15 minute walk from the main road. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Ephesus.

Das Hotel ist interessant geschnitten und toll eingerichtet. Der Ausblick der Terasse ist atemberaubend. Leider war der Pool die ersten Tage nicht geöffnet. Das Hotel ist nicht gut geeignet für Menschen mit Problemen beim Laufen. Das Frühstück und auch der Service der Mitarbeiter war atemberaubend. Die Zimmer sind leider unglaublich hellhörig, dh man hört jedes kleine Wort des Nachbarn und kann sich kaum frei bewegen. Das war definitiv nicht erholend. Frech fanden wir auch, dass uns verboten wurde auf der Terasse unser Essen zu essen und der Besitzer dies über seine Mitarbeiter sagen liess, als es selber zu tun. Das hat unsere Stimmung getrübt.

Wir waren im Mai hier. In mehreren kleinen Häusern befinden sich die individuell und liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und versuchen die Wünsche zu erfüllen. Es gab ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit zum Teil selbstgemachten Zutaten. Zum Zentrum und zum Hafen sind es zu Fuß ca. 3 Minuten, dennoch ist es in der Anlage ruhig. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt 😊👍

Beautiful hotel with the kindest staff. The rooms, the pool, the breakfast room were all perfect with so many details that added to the ambiance. The staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. And the breakfast was amazing. The location is very convenient to restaurants and the waterfront.

The Villa Ephesus is beautifully decorated, very clean, and uniquely situated. Okan was so gracious in getting us settled and acclimated to the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views and lovely decorations. Breakfast was astounding. What a gem!

We enjoyed a great stay at Villa Ephesus hotel. The rooms were big and very clean, and staff service was impeccable. Breakfast was a particular highlight, served beautifully and tasted great. An amazing location being only a small walk from the seafront. Would highly recommend. Hüseyin was excellent, incredibly attentive and provided wonderful service.

Breakfasts are amazing! All vegetarian, great spread of turkish eats/delights - menemen, olives, fruit, pastries, jams, breads, hummus and dips, and slightly different everyday. My partner is vegan and the staff were amazing at adjusting foods for him and ensuring he had lots to eat. Kept us going until dinner time. Lastly, the staff were wonderful, incredibly friendly and Melek (the manager) helped us organise all of our excursions, restaurant bookings and transfers. Would I go back? Absolutely - in a heartbeat! Massive thank you to Villa Ephesus for a great stay.

The villa was beautifully furnished with many areas to relax - a couple of terraces with fabulous views and an enjoyable pool area. The bedrooms were also beautifully furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was traditional and delicious. All staff were friendly, polite and attentive. El lugar bonito pero no me agrado que yo reserve para 3 personas y resulto que nos dieron un sofa super pequeño. Para mi hijo fue super pequeño no fue ni siquiera un sofa regular. Y nos cobraron por una cama regular. Sobre el desayuno realmente desepcionante fue realmente limitado y no hubo mucha variedad. Y llegamos en carro y eso es terrible no hay parqueo y nos chocaron el carro.

Close to port so convenient for ferry to Samos, really nice building but short stay so left before breakfast. Staff were really nice and friendly… bedroom was very light at night if you like it dark and we were only given a small blanket for a large double bed and two people but we arrived so late didn’t query. Also no TV in room if you were staying longer!

The hotel is just beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing. It’s walking distance to everything. The only issue was getting to the property, taxis are unable to get to the property, so you need to walk up some hills and stairs. Otherwise it was perfect.

The Villa Ephesus is beautifully decorated, very clean, and uniquely situated. Okan was so gracious in getting us settled and acclimated to the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views and lovely decorations. Breakfast was astounding. What a gem!

Das Hotel ist interessant geschnitten und toll eingerichtet. Der Ausblick der Terasse ist atemberaubend. Leider war der Pool die ersten Tage nicht geöffnet. Die Zimmer sind leider unglaublich hellhörig, dh man hört jedes kleine Wort des Nachbarn und kann sich kaum frei bewegen. Das war definitiv nicht erholend. Beautiful property. Wonderful Turkish breakfast. The property has kind and attentive staff, lovely seating garden areas, a small pool and walkways with beautiful mosaics, and a terrace with a view out to the harbor. The terrace includes a bar and some bar food. This property is a peaceful and beautiful refuge from the busy port. Don’t be put off by the stairs and area leading up to the Villa, once you enter the property it’s another world of beauty and sophistication. Kudus to the owners and staff.

This hotel is a hidden gem! We stayed here for 11 nights in Sep/Oct 2025 and absolutely loved it. The hotel is minutes away from the port and the old town, with lots of shops and restaurants close by, but a note to consider - access to the hotel from the old town is up a steep flight of steps, (the staff will meet you and carry your luggage up and down), but something to consider if you have mobility issues. If you don't, don't let steps put you off! The hotel is a beautiful arrangement of small buildings, with only a handful of rooms in each. We had a premium room and it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff are dedicated to your comfort, so if you needed a softer/harder pillow they can provide. This hotel is beautiful and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast was really good and is inclusive. We had wonderful views. This was one of the best hotel stays of my life. The staff met us at 2am when we checked in. They went above and beyond over and over! I would caution American visitors that parking is challenging and the area looks a little sketchy at night. We did meet several neighbors of the hotel and they were all lovely. We encountered zero issues with safety and our rental car had zero issues. The streets are very steep and very narrow. Please discuss driving and parking with the hotel prior to arrival to avoid surprise. Despite the challenge in getting there, it is well worth a stay.

The staff was warm and friendly. You could tell they genuinely cared about the quality of your stay. The hotel area is beautifully decorated with traditional Turkish decor. We spent time each day in the lovely outdoor spaces. The Turkish breakfast was wonderful. There is a wonderful breeze from the water. The only negative, which did not affect us, is that it would be difficult for anyone with limited mobility. The parking lot is uphill from the property and town is a long walk down many unevenly spaced stairs. There is plenty of shopping and good restaurants nearby. Salespeople in Kuşadası were more aggressive than Çeşme or Alaçatı.

Do not stay here! I spent $150 to walk away from this hotel so let this be your warning. I did not end up staying here as it did not feel safe. We couldn’t find parking. The hotel is a nightmare to access and we couldn’t imagine trying to get here with our luggage. The area looks like it’s in a sketchy neighborhood and not secure. The receptionist was rude. I asked to see my room and she got up from desk and pointed to a door! I then asked to speak to the manager who she said was not in Kusadasi. After I left I tried calling Expedia to get them involved. They tried to get authorization for refund but hotel manager Okan (who I didn’t get to speak to but somehow Expedia did 30 min later) refused to authorize refund. It also stunk like cat poop and cigarette smoke the 5 min I was inside their lobby. They try gaslighting and invalidating their bad reviews but if you have common sense you can see their pattern. I’m also putting pics of the front area where you are supposed to check in from. I cannot understand At All how they have positive reviews. They must buy them. Don’t waste your money or ruin your vacation. I’ll expect a rude reply back as they always blame the customer when they receive honest feedback.

What a wonderful hotel. We stayed at Villa Ephesus for 4 nights before joining a cruise. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the port and right in the town however very quiet and peaceful. We had a late flight arrival at Izmir and arranged our transfer with Melek who was very welcoming and contacted us prior to our visit with details for our stay. We had lovely Turkish breakfast each morning. The hotel was very peaceful and we had a lovely relaxing stay. There is a mosaic on the bottom of the pool which Melek advised is a copy of one of the mosaics in the Terraced House at Ephesus, which we found when we visited for the day. We took the dolmus from the Main Street and the entrance is only a 10 -15 minute walk from the main road. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Ephesus.

What a wonderful hotel. We stayed at Villa Ephesus for 4 nights before joining a cruise. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the port and right in the town however very quiet and peaceful. We had a late flight arrival at Izmir and arranged our transfer with Melek who was very welcoming and contacted us prior to our visit with details for our stay. We had lovely Turkish breakfast each morning. The hotel was very peaceful and we had a lovely relaxing stay. There is a mosaic on the bottom of the pool which Melek advised is a copy of one of the mosaics in the Terraced House at Ephesus, which we found when we visited for the day. We took the dolmus from the Main Street and the entrance is only a 10 -15 minute walk from the main road. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Ephesus.

This is a beautiful small boutique style property in a great location for walking around the town. Breakfast was sensational and the staff are lovely .. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, some with views of the sea / harbour.

We were pleasantly greeted by the host Malaika's kind and welcoming smile. We had a great view and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Mr Hassan (part owner) also picked us up from the airport. Breakfast was sumptuous and promptly served at 8 AM. The dining has a great view. Mohammet and his companion served coffee, juice and Tea and were conversant in English. The location of Villas is right inside the oriental market where alleyways lead to other wonderful shops/markets. This is no doubt a great place in the middle of the town, walking distance to the beach, boat harbor, restaurants and shops. Most tours and tour guides start at 7-7:30 am. The breakfast is served at 8 am. You will miss a great breakfast unless you alter you tour timings. ( We really wished that the breakfast could be served at 7 am so most visitors can enjoy the view and the breakfast) there is a great pool and three other lounging ares with bar and Hooks service. The view from all of these lounges is spectacular. We were there for 4 night and visited the Ephesus ruins and Mary's house. Also took a one hour boat ride to the Greek island Samos. We spent the day there just roaming the town and enjoying the cafes on the beach. one last noteworthy thing is that in order to get to Villas, you have to climb about 35 steep steps but it is worth it. One day we were leaving early and Malaika packed a breakfast for us. That was so kind of her. Highly recommended.

The terrace includes a bar and some bar food. This property is a peaceful and beautiful refuge from the busy port. Don’t be put off by the stairs and area leading up to the Villa, once you enter the property it’s another world of beauty and sophistication. Kudus to the owners and staff.

We had a great stay. Comfortable bed, clean room, nice water pressure in the shower. Cute hotel with decorative details, amazing breakfast, and helpful staff. Roof terrace provides great views of sunrise and sunset. You can get drinks and snacks there.

This hotel is a hidden gem! We stayed here for 11 nights in Sep/Oct 2025 and absolutely loved it. The hotel is minutes away from the port and the old town, with lots of shops and restaurants close by, but a note to consider - access to the hotel from the old town is up a steep flight of steps, (the staff will meet you and carry your luggage up and down), but something to consider if you have mobility issues. If you don't, don't let steps put you off! The hotel is a beautiful arrangement of small buildings, with only a handful of rooms in each. We had a premium room and it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff are dedicated to your comfort, so if you needed a softer/harder pillow they can provide. There is a bar terrace at the very top (more stairs) with comfy chairs and fantastic views over the town. It's a wonderful place to have a drink and watch the sun set and the boats depart. Breakfasts are amazing! All vegetarian, great spread of turkish eats/delights - menemen, olives, fruit, pastries, jams, breads, hummus and dips, and slightly different everyday. My partner is vegan and the staff were amazing at adjusting foods for him and ensuring he had lots to eat. Kept us going until dinner time. Lastly, the staff were wonderful, incredibly friendly and Melek (the manager) helped us organise all of our excursions, restaurant bookings and transfers. Would I go back? Absolutely - in a heartbeat! Massive thank you to Villa Ephesus for a great stay.

The villa was beautifully furnished with many areas to relax - a couple of terraces with fabulous views and an enjoyable pool area. The bedrooms were also beautifully furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was traditional and delicious. All staff were friendly, polite and attentive. El lugar bonito pero no me agrado que yo reserve para 3 personas y resulto que nos dieron un sofa super pequeño. Para mi hijo fue super pequeño no fue ni siquiera un sofa regular. Y nos cobraron por una cama regular. Sobre el desayuno realmente desepcionante fue realmente limitado y no hubo mucha variedad. Y llegamos en carro y eso es terrible no hay parqueo y nos chocaron el carro.

The Villa Ephesus is beautifully decorated, very clean, and uniquely situated. Okan was so gracious in getting us settled and acclimated to the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views and lovely decorations. Breakfast was astounding. What a gem!

The staff was warm and friendly. You could tell they genuinely cared about the quality of your stay. The hotel area is beautifully decorated with traditional Turkish decor. We spent time each day in the lovely outdoor spaces. The Turkish breakfast was wonderful. There is a wonderful breeze from the water. The only negative, which did not affect us, is that it would be difficult for anyone with limited mobility. The parking lot is uphill from the property and town is a long walk down many unevenly spaced stairs. There is plenty of shopping and good restaurants nearby. Salespeople in Kuşadası were more aggressive than Çeşme or Alaçatı.

We loved this hotel! The room was spotless and so beautiful. It had an amazing view of the harbor and much of the city.. When you entered the front gate all was peaceful and serene, no loud beachside music. Yet you were only steps away from all the interesting shops in the Castle Bazaar. The staff was very responsive to every need and the breakfasts were out of this world—lavish and delicious! The only downside was the 48 steps up to the main enterance, as well as several flights of stairs inside to get to the breakfast room, pool or roof-top lounge area, but this was also part of its charm and well worth the effort. They provided staff to carry your luggage up on arrival and down on your departure. For those with a car there was a parking area with an entrance that avoided many of the steps. We would definitely love to stay there again!

It's unique, cosy and is definitely a boutique-quality hotel. Great location not to far from Ephesus. Has a couple beaches in town and Ladies Beach reachable in 7 min by a frequent minibus. Food was delicious and staff and management incredibly attentive!
