Quaint home just outside of Seward. The listing was accurate and communication was exceptional. The house had everything we needed. We loved the layout. I didn't realize when booking that this had a unit below, but there were no issues with neighbors. The host provided grill, firepit, games, and several kitchen amenities. I would highly recommend!

We were in town for a few days fishing and getting ready for a wedding! The place was absolutely perfect! The hosts have thought of everything you need for a relaxing place just minutes from the Seward waterfront! We will absolutely look to stay here again on our next visit!

This was my husband and I's first time visiting Alaska. Not only was this house affordable, it was clean and had all of the amenities that we would need as well. It was a great location - just outside of Seward but still quiet in the evenings. Shirley and her husbands were great hosts. 100% would come back!

This cute home is only a stone's throw from "downtown" Seward, with easy main-road access and ample parking. Understand that there is only a single bedroom with a door that closes. The bed upstairs, in a low-ceiling loft, was perfect for the kids, but we had to turn off the lights in the kitchen and living room and be very quiet until they fell asleep because of the light and sound bleed. The final bed is the convertible couch in the living room. All of the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is an excellent size with plenty of amenities. Wifi is strong, but the uplink is satellite internet; large uploads (eg, pushing photos to dropbox or amazon pictures) WILL fill the pipe and kill the connection. Definitely check this place out if you need somewhere overnight before your Royal Caribbean southbound Alaska cruise -- or for somewhere to stay a few days after your northbound one!

This home was great for our family. The steps upstairs to the loft bed were a little tricky but otherwise everything was great. A nice little view of the mountains out the kitchen window and a short drive to downtown Seward. The host was very accommodating as well.

This cabin is wonderful and we very much enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the location was quiet, and the communication was clear. The only thing that I didn't realize from the online booking was that we stayed in the upper unit and could hear the people in the lower unit, even if they weren't being loud. It wasn't a big deal, as I said we really enjoyed our stay, but it is something that caught me by surprise. If we find ourselves back in Seward we'd definitely stay here again!

My husband, ten year old and I spent five nights in this lovely house and had a wonderful time. It was such a nice place and well laid out, with a stunning view. Shirley’s communication was excellent and we had zero problems while there. We would absolutely stay here again!

Host gave good details on how to find rental and easy check in. Very clean and inviting. Provided great info on local restaurants, shops,& points of interest. Noise from upstairs was typical for being on ground level.

Thank you so much for sharing your home. We loved to be welcome with a personalized message form the porch and lots of instructions once inside. Thank you for providing bear proof trash bins on the property so we did not have to drive anywhere to drop off trash at the end of our stay because we had to leave early one morning. I loved how available the host has been on any messages on the VRBO app. We had everything we needed plus a wonderful view of mountains and bald eagles. Just amazing-thank you-when we come again we will absolutely try to get this same property to rent. God bless you!

We really enjoyed this little house! Perfect location convenient to Seward and Kenai Fjords NP. Had just what we needed for a couple of nights cooking at home …for us only lacking a washer & dryer (which was as advertised) but allowed for the experience of doing laundry in town. Thank you for sharing your home! I hope our kids weren’t too loud for the apartment below.

The bed upstairs, in a low-ceiling loft, was perfect for the kids, but we had to turn off the lights in the kitchen and living room and be very quiet until they fell asleep because of the light and sound bleed. The final bed is the convertible couch in the living room. All of the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is an excellent size with plenty of amenities. Wifi is strong, but the uplink is satellite internet; large uploads (eg, pushing photos to dropbox or amazon pictures) WILL fill the pipe and kill the connection. Definitely check this place out if you need somewhere overnight before your Royal Caribbean southbound Alaska cruise -- or for somewhere to stay a few days after your northbound one!
This cute home is only a stone's throw from "downtown" Seward, with easy main-road access and ample parking. Understand that there is only a single bedroom with a door that closes. The residence was clean, had a beautiful view and the owner made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. I would recommended this place. The view is gorgeous.

If you’re a light sleeper, do not choose this place. Thought I’d mention initially so it’s not buried in a positive review. There are people above you and it’s quite noisy. In our brief stay, there were loud adults and kids running all over the floor. Also their was a wet floor by living room bed, and plates are mostly chipped. Otherwise the host, the layout, the location, the general condition and cleanliness of the place are excellent.
