The room was pretty good if you like old school. But the amenities were simply non existent as the place was being renovated. I'd check back to make sure everything was completed before booking. I was under the impression I'd have access to a restaurant lounge during my stay but there wasn't anything open.

Location very good and it felt safe. Gym's treadmill has needed service for the past 3 years the manual elevation button and heart rate monitor still non-functional. Mattress are lumpy and wornout. Food in the bar is sub-standard

Convenient, quiet and restful stay. Nice to have the EV charger so my car was ready to go when I checked out. A few minor issues with the TV and fireplace not working, but since it was a great discounted rate through expedia, I didn't really mind for the one night. Looking forward to having more dining options available when the renovations are complete, as the breakfast room service menu is quite limited at the moment.

Really lovely property. Definitely some old charm, elevators don’t always work. My only complaint is that when we checked in we said we didn’t want cleaning service, and the front desk lady said “but you are staying to 3 nights!” Yea, sooo… we said ok then and when we checked out, they proceeded to charge us $12.50 a night for cleaning our room!!! Way to let us know ahead of time.

While the outside of the building is beautiful and historic, the inside reflects its older history. The elevator broke down and we had to be taken through the maintenance elevator. Our key card stopped working but the front desk guy helped with that. I’m not sure if it was a problem with Expedia’s description or that of the hotel but it said there would be a hot tub and it was a jetted bath at best. The jets also shot out black stuff?? Was hoping there would be a microwave but that’s my fault for not checking. The website also mentioned a car service but to my knowledge there wasn’t one unfortunately. The area around the hotel is beautiful and I wish it was warm enough to walk through the garden! There aren’t many food options around the hotel because the area is so spacious but the hotel does have room service and a restaurant(a bit pricey I may add but seems classy!). Staff was super nice:) Parking was not an issue.

We had a one night stay. Our room had every amenity necessary and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine. The king sized bed was sheer comfort; the room and bathroom were spacious. A robe was provided. The theme was old world elegance with comfort.

The mattresses and pillows are old and uncomfortable, scratchy single-ply toilet paper, curtains are cheap heavy plastic and not on the rail well…I could go on. Essentially, for the price and claims of ‘luxury’ I expect more. I won’t stay again nor will I recommend this hotel. A shame, it could be really special

Staff were great! Brought us water bottles every morning! Asked for 3 the lady gave us 4! Complaint… the room is too dark. Hard to get ready. A bit of a musty smell too. However, cozy and quaint. The restaurant is crazy expensive! Like really!!! We skipped that. I felt ripped off not getting a bigger fridge, and no microwave! We got a suite and was so expensive!

Loved the beautiful room and pretty grounds. Nice little live seat in the room with a fireplace. Wish we could stay another night! Also very convenient for public transit and Bloor west village is a 15 minute comfortable walk away with lots of dining options. Definitely a nice place to have a couple's weekend.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The Hotel was amazing! From the moment you step into the hotel you feel like you are transformed back in time. The staff at the front desk were very warm! When we opened the door to our room we were blown away by how nice it was. The photos on the website dont do this place justice. Very large and very clean. Was pleasantly surprised with the jacuzzi! The complimentary bottle of wine was a very nice surprise also. Our 2 night stay was to celebrate our 10 yr wedding anniversary as we had gotten married at the Old Mill chapel and had our reception here also. We are so glad we came back. Thank you Old Mill!

Did not use the spa. Check-in staff were less than helpful. Housekeeping staff excellent Staff of lobby bar excellent. Please retain the feeling of an old property, but it truly needs a facelift and front desk staff training.

Consistently Rude, condescending front desk staff. U welcoming to me (a woman of colour) and made no attempt to offer options or assistance for my 90 year old mother who was there for her 90 year birthday party! Just unapologetically told us to climb up a very steep and long ramp to get to the elevators. I observed our treatment being different from that given to other guests.

Service was excellent! I needed earplugs due to my snoring husband and they delivered to my door at 2am. I tried to give them a tip and they refused! I checked in without my husband and they delivered all of my luggage into the room! So kind.

I have stayed at the Old Mill multiple times on work trips. The hotel has free parking and is right on the TTC line which makes it very convenient as i visit multiple customers. Being able to very easily use mass transit to head downtown one day while driving for out of town visits is perfect. Its a very walkable location as you can meander over to the humber river for a hike or bloor west village for your choice of dining. The rooms are large and comfortable. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely stay again and again.

On arrival to the room, we put away our cold items in the fridge, however, the fridge was not working. I called the desk and immediately an engineer came up, assessed the fridge and replaced it. He was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and very quick in resolving the problem, The gentleman that was cleaning came to our rescue when we couldn’t figure out how to use the coffee maker. He was very friendly and prompt and super helpful anytime we saw either of these two staff during our three day stay they were very cheerful and friendly.

The property is very nice. We were there for a wedding and our room was in a private area overlooking the garden. Considering the cost per night, I was expecting a bit nicer and friendlier staff. The few times we interacted with staff, they were rather rude. The key cards kept deactivating regardless of if they were near phones or not. The bed made my back sore so I kept waking up.

The property is charming, inviting, and cozy. Our room was lovely with windows that opened out into a forested area behind the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet (is there a train audible sometimes?) and relaxed but not terribly close to downtown.

The property is charming, inviting, and cozy. Our room was lovely with windows that opened out into a forested area behind the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet (is there a train audible sometimes?) and relaxed but not terribly close to downtown.

Old Mill war für mich genau richtig um nach den vielen Eindrücken tagsüber, die ich in Toronto gesammelt habe, abends in die Ruhe einer kleinen Oase zu kommen. Dank Subway war die Fahrt aus dem Zentrum auch ganz entspannt.

The hotel is very charming with great staff. The location is convenient for us and if you like to walk the Humber Trail is across the bridge. Parking was easy and the slow charger for our EV was very handy. Everything was top notch.

Wonderful staff, charming if perhaps a little old school (in a good way) decor, very quiet as it is tucked into the Humber ravine park system. Easy walk to the subway, about 10 min walk to shops and restaurants along Bloor West. We’ve stayed there twice and would do so again.

Beautiful Tudor style hotel with amazing grounds. It feels like a country estate. Hotel provides indoor parking. Easy walking distance to Bloor st and lovely walking trails along the Humber river. Rooms are comfortable with old world charm.

Walking distance to trails along the Humber river and Bloor West village. I found the hotel and the room very cozy and comfortable; however, we were awaken very early in the morning with construction noises. The sound of generator and heavy machinery started just after 6 am while we were hoping for a late start. Dining rooms were not available when we stayed and only room service was available. We walked to the Bloor West village for breakfast.

This hotel is going through a transition at the moment. As a result service and amenities are at a bare minimum. No breakfast service, only room service. No latte. No lunch. Bar doesn’t open until 5:00. On first night, Inquired at the front desk about restaurants in the area, we’re only directed to Bloor Street and yet the following day when asking again, a list of restaurants was produced from behind the desk. We were able to choose from a very limited menu on the first night. Met friends next afternoon for drinks. Every thing we asked for (wine, beer, etc) they were out of, had to settle for 2-3 choices. No olives for martinis! Quite disappointed. But m sure when they finish their upgrading and renos it will be very good

We really enjoyed the breakfasts in the restaurant and the staff was nice. Room was clean and spacious. Windows were really dirty and the whole place could use a refresh though.

As soon as I entered the room it felt "grand" with beautiful antique looking furniture but with a very homey feel. The room was spacious and bathroom upgraded with a large shower. Although the reception area was not very inviting, the room was very clean and inviting. The staff at the reception and in the En Canto Restaurant were very nice and helpful. The area is also very nice to walk and explore. There is a very nice park with a salmon run close by - 6 minute walk. All in all we had a very enjoyable, one night stay on this beautiful property.

The hotel was lovely and unique. The restaurants were great. Staff were super helpful. The rooms were very clean. The only downside is the coffee maker in the room took forever to make coffee that is just ok. I would recommend this hotel for sure.
