I stayed here in 2016 when it was a 3 star hotel. Now with the new renovations and new design of the interior of the building it is truly a 4 and a half star hotel. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and pleasant. Great dinner menu. Will return and stay here in December while I Christmas shop!

This hotel has a very nice courtyard that my wife, daughter, and I enjoyed in the evenings. The bar provides full service if you want to enjoy drinks. The breakfast was typical German fare, with lots of cheese and sausage. I thought the hotel was great value for the money. It's also in easy walking distance of the market square and cathedral, and I felt very safe with my family.

The hotel is in a good condition and the location is in the heart of city center. The gym for a hotel this size is a joke. People outside the area were singing well after midnight disturbing the sleep. The bar service is poor. Will stay in Ibis next door for a lot less money, similar location and facilities.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the lovely city of Trier. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and I even received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine simply because it was my birthday, during my stay. I have stayed in few finer hotels.

Tolle Lage direkt in der Trierer Innenstadt. Personal freundlich und schneller Check-in/Check-out. Zimmer empfand ich als verbesserungswürdig. Ich musste lange nach einer Steckdose suchen, USB Anschlüsse zum Laden nicht verfügbar. Badezimmer allerdings top modern, groß und sauber. Frühstück groß mit viel Auswahl.

Op loopafstand van centrum. Uitgebreid ontbijt. De airco heeft vanaf aankomst op 19 graden gestaan maar na 2 nachten was het nog steeds boven de 21 graden. Werkte dus niet echt goed maar maakte wel veel lawaai. Met het raam open geslapen wat geluidsoverlast van het naastgelegen restaurant met terras gaf tot 2 uur in de nacht.

Op loopafstand van centrum. Uitgebreid ontbijt. De airco heeft vanaf aankomst op 19 graden gestaan maar na 2 nachten was het nog steeds boven de 21 graden. Very nice property. My only complaint is that when we checked in, we were told we got an “upgraded room” with a nice view, which we hadn’t requested. That was fine with us, the view didn’t matter to us at that hotel. What we realized that night was that ours was one of a few rooms in the hotel where the AC didn’t work. It was hot there and that has been one of a very few priorities we have when booking hotels. They brought us a fan that was loud and only mildly helpful.

Das Park Plaza ist ein sehr gutes Hotel für jeden Anspruch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist seine optimale Lage, direkt an der Fußgängerzone und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nahezu zu Fuß zu erreichen. Service und Ambiente sind top. Jederzeit gerne wieder 👍!

Das Park Plaza ist ein sehr gutes Hotel für jeden Anspruch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist seine optimale Lage, direkt an der Fußgängerzone und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nahezu zu Fuß zu erreichen. Service und Ambiente sind top. Jederzeit gerne wieder 👍!

This hotel has a very nice courtyard that my wife, daughter, and I enjoyed in the evenings. The bar provides full service if you want to enjoy drinks. The breakfast was typical German fare, with lots of cheese and sausage. I thought the hotel was great value for the money. It's also in easy walking distance of the market square and cathedral, and I felt very safe with my family.

Op loopafstand van centrum. Uitgebreid ontbijt. De airco heeft vanaf aankomst op 19 graden gestaan maar na 2 nachten was het nog steeds boven de 21 graden. Werkte dus niet echt goed maar maakte wel veel lawaai. Met het raam open geslapen wat geluidsoverlast van het naastgelegen restaurant met terras gaf tot 2 uur in de nacht.

Das Park Plaza ist ein sehr gutes Hotel für jeden Anspruch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist seine optimale Lage, direkt an der Fußgängerzone und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nahezu zu Fuß zu erreichen. Service und Ambiente sind top. Jederzeit gerne wieder 👍!

The hotel is in a good condition and the location is in the heart of city center. The gym for a hotel this size is a joke. People outside the area were singing well after midnight disturbing the sleep. The bar service is poor. Will stay in Ibis next door for a lot less money, similar location and facilities.

I stayed here in 2016 when it was a 3 star hotel. Now with the new renovations and new design of the interior of the building it is truly a 4 and a half star hotel. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and pleasant. Great dinner menu. Will return and stay here in December while I Christmas shop!

Très bien situé et pratique. Le parking coûte 14€ la journée. Petit déjeuner très bon. Je regrette qu’il n’y ait pas de bouteille d’eau dans la chambre ni de rideaux suffisamment larges pour vraiment cacher la lumière du soleil le matin.

The two visits we had at the restaurant was really great, food was lovely and the staff there very kind and welcoming. Parking works tremendously and the location was perfect. Housekeeping was quite terrible, first day they did not exchange cups, next day the bed was not properly made and third day was a Sunday, so there was no housekeeping at all. A welcome card was left in our room, but it was not for us, there was a lot of dust on the surfaces and the bathroom didn’t seem to get cleaned. Everyone can forget something, but from a four star hotel, I expect more. Also when I was booking the stay, the price increased with 300 euros as I was already in the purchase flow and had made my selection of breakfast and insurance. The only thing lacking was the payment part itself. I booked the room despite, as there was only one left and reached out to Hotels.com support, as I was convinced it was an error. According to support, this was an action done by the hotel. I do understand prices change based on demand and availability, but increasing pricing with 300 euros when the customer is already in the purchase flow, that just seems wrong to me.
