I stayed one night here while in town to attend a concert. The hotel was easily walkable to/from the Yaletown station so I took the train to and from the airport. Round trip will cost you under $12. I was given a room upgrade upon check in to a double queen. The room was quite spacious and very clean. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. The bathroom finishes were nice. I loved the led lit mirror and the L'Occitane toiletries. I especially appreciate a liquid hand soap at a hotel. None of those tiny bars that just end up getting wasted. There is decent coffee in the rooms with a Keurig machine.Within a short walking distance I picked up a pizza and a bottle of wine. I appreciated the proper wine glasses in the room. There is a mini bar but the fridge was quite large so I had room to keep my own beverages cold. Check in/out was quick and convenient. Staff were all very friendly. I did not dine on site so cannot comment on food. My only critiques would be that the hot tub was not available and one elevator was out of service so it could be slow getting to/ from your floor. And although my room was great and had a good view, there was a lot of noise above me when I tried to sleep (around 12:30am). The front desk said it was from the restaurance closing up. Maybe take that into consideration before taking a room on the 8th floor.

The hotel and staff was 5-star. They had a car that could drop you off in the downtown area (for example Gastown). Walk to several restaurants and to Granville Island. Would definitely return to The Parker on a return to Vancouver!

Facility needs updating. There is no onsite activities, mandatory valet parking $50 a night with no other options near the property.

Very nice people at the hotel. Morning breakfast service was very slow at times. The room had broken curtains, not a lot of shower pressure. The gym had no disinfectant or towels or even a full bottle of water. No dumbbells no nothing. They need to really work on this.

Seem to have been charged an extra $45 for a 1 night stay? Assuming this was for the valet? Thought that would be free as I couldn’t get into the garage so if it’s not, be aware. Not worth it at all

Nice hotel, close to walking/running trail by the seawall. Easy walk to restaurants, shops. Amazing rooftop lounge/restaurant. Will stay here again!

The building is old and close to two highways, so quite noisy at night. Also the mattress no longer provides any support, get a bad back pain the other day. And the cushion on the bed was definitely DIRTY and DUSTY, needed to wear a mask at night

The hotel looks nice when you arrive but it’s very dated once you get past the lobby. I would say it’s a 2.5 star hotel not even a 3 star. The staff were lovely. The rooms are circa 1994 and in need of a major update. I’m sure it would be fine for some, but for over $300 a night I was a little shocked when I stepped off the elevator. Check-in was easy. Our neighbors had extremely fragrant food late at night and we could smell every bite of it. Thin walls. Great view and location. If you’re looking for a modern stay, def not it.

Our corner room was tiny, but decently appointed. The bed felt smaller than a Queen because it was so soft my husband (who's not a big guy) sunk into the middle. The bathroom was nicely remodeled, and amenities were decent. There was one excellent bellman on staff throughout our stay (I wish I could remember his name), but the front desk clerk (Cathy) left a little to be desired in terms of customer service.

The room was very good-looking and spotlessly clean. The drawback was the size - only room for the desk chair, no other chair for a second person to sit in. The room was just too small - similar to a Japanese business hotel size. The breakfast included in our room rate was good. We did not utilize the rooftop bar/restaurant, so have no comment on that. There were a couple of restaurants within a block or so which was all we needed. Overall, good for a one-night stay, but the room was too small to be comfortable for a longer stay.

The location is the reason to be there. The room had the loudest air conditioning unit, and when asked if we could change rooms, I was told every room had the same noise. I think the pictures are generous to make it look more modern than it is. Overall stay was okay, but I wouldn’t call this a 4 star.

Bathroom sink sprays water everywhere when in use. Good flow in the tub, but using the shower head was tiring. No water pressure, makes rinse shower gel, shampoo, and conditions very troublesome.

Our overall experience was tarnished by the Manager, Milos. Every problem that was brought to his attention was met with resistance (e.g., no internet access, no working phone in the room, skipped room cleaning one day entirely). When we complained about the room not getting cleaned, he said it was because we didn't put the 'request service' sign on the door... this is simply untrue and was quickly validated by housekeeping who confirmed that's not a protocol they practice. When we spoke with a staff member about internet connectivity challenges early on in our time at the hotel, the gentleman made a note on the file. When we spoke with the manager about this same problem, he said he 'didn't need to look at the file' further disregarding any challenges we brought to light. The manager came into each interaction closed-minded under the impression that we were looking to weasel our way into a free night when in reality we were just looking for the bare minimum in our stay in Vancouver at a nicer hotel. Failing to offer us any resolve, with one night left he suggested we leave the hotel altogether; I can say with considerable confidence he would never have made this suggestion to folks not in their mid-twenties. Vancouver is an incredible city but unfortunately our experience at the Parker didn't live up to what we had anticipated.

So accommodating and helpful. Made sure DoorDash was held until check in. And watched luggage while exploring even though checked out. Absolutely superb customer service. Do not stay any where else.

The staff are great, the service was excellent. My room, on the 4th floor had no view except for the apartment across the alley. I was quite disappointed as we booked almost 6 months in advance. (Maybe it’s because we used Expedia?) We were very much looking forward to having dinner at their rooftop restaurant, but it was booked for a private event so we’re were crammed in the back of a tiny balcony with an underwhelming view - but the happy hour appies helped make up for it. We went for breakfast at the hotel (which was not part of our stay) and that was also a bit underwhelming (a dry waffle and they were out of syrup) and it was very-very expensive, so we avoided eating there. The location is good but when I go back I think I’ll just opt for staying on Davie Street as it’s more accessible to food and drinks.

Had a great time at this new modern hotel, staff were welcoming and helpful. Over four days, the only disappointment was the included breakfast, long waits for tables and service and kept running out of juice, condiments and sausages.

Our hotel stay was ok. On the plus side, the staff were extremely helpful and sweet, and the location was fantastic. We stayed on the quiet side of the building, away from the on-ramp/traffic. On the minus side- some kind of system (ventilation?) was in overdrive and the bathroom door rattled in its frame as a result - only really noticeable in the bathroom. The doors have seen better days and the breakfast cafe patio was dirty/ used for storage, not guests, as in the photos. Breakfast was a fiasco - understaffed and inefficient. Seating, order taking, beverages, and eventually food took 30-40 minutes. Food was poor quality and lacking any form of presentation. We were so disappointed that we canceled our hotel breakfast the following morning and went to one of the many great diners in the neighbourhood instead. Front desk staff had no problem accommodating the request for a refund. They also helped us to find transportation to our next stop, so things ended on a positive note.

The bedroom and hotel were as expected, very comfortable and conveniently located. The breakfast is the biggest disappointment of our stay: the food on day one was really not great, with tasteless eggs, one greasy toast and very limited choices on the menu. We came back the next day as we had to get on a bus shortly after breakfast but were not able to be served despite waiting for more than 15 minutes before anyone decided to talk to us. They were completely understaffed and were not using half of the restaurant room. After waiting next to the booth endlessly and being completely ignored, they finally told us to come back 45 minutes later, which was not an option for us. It was quite annoying to have waited this long for bad food and not get anything in the end, especially when we could have been on our way to the Starbucks right around the corner if they had told us sooner that they couldn't serve us food.

Every staff member was wonderful to work with. The hotel is beautiful and there are so many restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. There are multiple parks with children playgrounds within 10-15 minute walk. The train station is about a 10-15 minute walk, then two stops to the Gastown area. (I highly recommend tequila taco to eat, close to the hotel!) The hotel rooms were clean and lovely. The onsite breakfast restaurant is absolutely fabulous. The food is wonderful. The rooftop bar is beautiful, though food options are limited. This was a wonderful stay and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
