Manager was very friendly and helpful. Was in walking distance to restaurants conveniently located next to IGA. Our room didn't have a fan in the bathroom which is probably why there were black spots on the ceiling both the basin and the shower pan had cracks. Had off road parking which was good but was very tight for larger vehicles and there was no designated parking spots

Although the hotel was built some decades ago it had been recently renovated to a good standard, given that it still retained the layout of the older motel style of the 70's or so. Parking was rather limited and tight.

Parking is tight and inadequate spaces for the number of rooms. Bins in direct line of sight from our door. Signs of black mould in the bathroom. No exhaust fan. Freezer door was broken. Light in coffee making area not working. The chap at the front desk was very friendly and efficient.

OVerall, yes, very clean and well presented, but the Bathroom needed alot of grout cleaning as there were some black mold. Otherwise pretty good. The only other issue was the desk was rarely manned always a sign to call if needed, which was a bit painful. Otherwise the room was extremely neat and tidy, well presented but that Bathroom just let it down alot.

We were checked into our room and arrived to find the room not cleaned - bathroom dirty and floor unvaccumed - this happened after 2pm check in time - once reception notified they promptly sent a cleaner into rectify. A little disappointing but the issue was fixed.

Quite an average stay, not sure how they've got such a high rating, seems more like a 3.5/4 star stay. There was black mold in the shower, and stains on the bedding. Was okay for the price, though not as good as we were expecting. Overall okay. Would rate, personally, 3.5/4 star hotel.

This has always been our go to motel andcwe were a little disappointed with our stay this time round. The room was ok, bathroom needs improving as there was a large amount mould in the shower recess, could really do with a deep clean.

Property was very central but a band played on Friday night nearby and it was noisy in the room. Very cold so we had to keep the heater turned up high to keep the room comfortable. Heater was a bit noisy. Had to fill gaps under door with towels to stop cold breeze blowing in. Some mould around bathroom sink and kettle didn’t work. Overall the property is a bit tired but acceptable.

The room was as expected. Recently had a remodel so clean and comfortable. Good use made of the space. Shower had a rain shower head which was nice with good hot water supply. One of those shallow square basins which makes filling the kettle tricky. Good linen. Comfy bed. Good wifi. There’s a coffee shop next door for breakfast and coffee - it closes early though. One issue we had hasn’t been addressed by the management. I sent them an email to say that our service for the room was very late - 4:30pm. We were in the room when she knocked on the door resting between our days activities and going out for dinner. When she asked to clean the room we said we’d go out. We were keen to get a service as we’d missed out the previous day as it was also late in the afternoon and my husband was having a nap at the time. We returned to the unit a couple of hours later to collect something for dinner to find the door open! Luckily nothing was taken but made us feel uneasy about how seriously they take security. I emailed them via the app to see what they had to say but still waiting for a response.

The bathroom is very small and the shower is REALLY small. The small fridge froze $35.00 worth of berries, veggies, cheese and a brand new one litre of milk. When I finally, after leaving a message for a return call, spoke to someone at the desk I didn’t get an apology but rather it was insinuated that it was my fault. I explained the situation a couple of times but got no where. In my mind this was very poor customer service. In our opinion it is the responsibility of the hotel to ensure the fridge is set properly . After all, it is their equipment. We have travelled extensively in Australia and have never had this fridge issue or such rude service.

Service was very good. Polite and supportive. Sumar also gave us a lift to an event when the taxi failed to show up. Location was so convenient. Next time we will ask for a ground floor room, so we don’t have to carry luggage up the stairs.

We were able to leave our luggage safely at Reception until it was time to catch our train back to Geelong. Warrnambool and the Comfort Inn Western provided us with a delightful change of scenery and an enjoyable stay.

Was not impressed to find no one at the reception when I arrived -I was early but called number and was advised someone would be back at 2 when check in opens… I called again at 2 and there was no answer, with staff returning at 2:15.not ideal when keen to get in the room asap

There are 3 Comfort Inns in Warnambool. We went to the first two to discover they did not have our booking. the 2nd motel rang Comfort Inn Western, where again they did not have a booking under Perry. we then had to book elsewhere. Yesterday I got a call from Comfort Inn Western to see why we hadn't arrived. They had booking under Mr Andrew, which is my christian name. I know Asian people do refer to people formally by their Christian name but that is not my fault! I was told I could not get a refund. Fair to say I will not be booking any of your motels again

There are 3 Comfort Inns in Warnambool. We went to the first two to discover they did not have our booking. the 2nd motel rang Comfort Inn Western, where again they did not have a booking under Perry. we then had to book elsewhere. Yesterday I got a call from Comfort Inn Western to see why we hadn't arrived. They had booking under Mr Andrew, which is my christian name. Great location- proximity to the railway station is very good. Staff were super helpful as I had booked the wrong date but they had capacity to accommodate us and alter our booking without charge. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Property was very central but a band played on Friday night nearby and it was noisy in the room. Very cold so we had to keep the heater turned up high to keep the room comfortable. Heater was a bit noisy. Had to fill gaps under door with towels to stop cold breeze blowing in. Some mould around bathroom sink and kettle didn’t work. Overall the property is a bit tired but acceptable.

Great place to stay in Warrnambool in a super location close to the train station and shops and restaurants. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and the check in (and check out) was very easy.

Service was very good. Polite and supportive. Sumar also gave us a lift to an event when the taxi failed to show up. Location was so convenient. Next time we will ask for a ground floor room, so we don’t have to carry luggage up the stairs.

Comfort Inn Western,Warrnambool was a suitable overnight stay after a day out at Port Campbell. It was close to many dining options. Dinner was a 5 minute walk to Liebig St and breakfast was just around the corner (a one minute walk!).

The property was clean and well equipped. The bathroom and shower become very slippery when wet and can result in slips. Website indicates that continental breakfast is available but this is no longer an option.

All was good except a pub was advertised as next door, incorrect it closed a year ago, our room was not serviced, supposedly you need to inform them if you want made up, so a pre covid sign says, however in the compendium it states leave your sign on the door, THERE WERE NONE.

The accomodation was basic, but everything I needed. Lots of choice for meals. (Pub right next door) Room was clean and nicely presented. I was early to check in, but the staff didn’t seem to rush the job. They did a terrific job and then let me know when it was ready. Great spot. - thanks.

Wouldn’t recommended staying here!! The place hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty bed sheets that hadn’t been changed. I have photos as proof of stains on the sheets and blood stains on the doona. Thankfully I checked the bed before actually getting in it. As it was late when I noticed there was no other place to book into. I messaged at 11pm last night through hotels and still not at 12pm the next day they haven’t responded. Ended up sleeping on a towel on top of the black bed cover as even the spare blanket had black stains all on it. Went to get the cushions off the chair to pay on to find more crumbs, fake nails and god knows what else was under there.
