Loved the beautiful gardens, the beach, the pools and the relaxed and calm atmosphere compared to other hotels in the resort, all adding up to a truly refreshing stay. The food was also fantastic quality, make sure you book at the Arabesque restaurant for a try highlight. Only one minor issue was the cheap wardrobe doors which banged and clashed with the drawers, minor things but stands out against the otherwise excellent quality of the room, maintained to the highest standard by Mohsan (master of the towel art!) and the team.Above everything though, this hotel is all about the staff: you will not find a happier, friendlier, eager-to-please and personable bunch anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our return trip

Clean room quiet and an absolute delight to wind down. lots of activities along Beach you can choose to do or through external parties Hotel pickup. Highly recommend and was absolutely fantastic. And the pool temperature was warm and generous alcohol in drinks.

The hotel is kept very clean, and the area looks beautiful. The beach is well-taken care of, watersports (wind-surfing, kite-surfing, SUP, etc.) are available at the beach hotel (at extra price). As advertised, the hotel is very-well suited for families with children. We found it a bit strange that the swimming pool for children is not heated and the water that that pool is cold; so all children are in the heated pool by the bar. Also, it is not mentioned in the hotel description that the kids club only accepts children as from 3 years of age to stay without parents.

Beautiful resort, but the hospitality needs improvement I recently stayed at Iberotel Makadi Beach, and while the resort itself is stunning, there were a few experiences that left me disappointed. Pros: The environment is serene and well-kept. The beach was absolutely breathtaking — crystal clear water and soft sand made for a perfect escape. My room was phenomenal — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It truly felt like a 5-star setup in terms of accommodations and scenery. Cons: The food was just average, especially considering this is supposed to be one of the top Jaz resorts. I expected better variety and quality. One major issue I encountered was the attitude of the staff. As someone from the Middle East, I felt there was a noticeable lack of warmth and hospitality extended toward me and others like me. The difference in how we were treated compared to European guests was very clear, and frankly, disheartening. The resort atmosphere is also extremely quiet and geared toward older guests. If you’re looking for fun or youthful energy, this may not be the right spot. Another major downside is the location — it’s quite isolated. If you want to explore or go anywhere, you’ll have to rely on taxis, and unfortunately, they tend to overcharge, especially when they know you’re a tourist. Zimmer war laut durch die angrenzenden Restaurants des benachbarten Hotels. WLAN Probleme über die ganze Woche und am Strand nicht verfügbar. Personal wie immer zuvorkommend und freundlicg.

Gäste W-LAN funktioniert nicht, man wird tagelang mit vorschieben von Providerproblemen, defekter Leitung oder defektem Router hingehalten. Knallharte Aussage des Personals und auch des Direktors, Hotel ist für die Funktion W-LAN / Internet nicht verantwortlich, einzig verantwortlich sei der Provider, Probleme bestehen schon seit Monaten nach Providerwechsel. Absolut falsche Darstellung und Täuschung der Gäste, da sich Mitarbeiter mit anderen Zugangsdaten problemlos an den gleichen Routern oder acesspoints anmelden können und die Funktion tadellos läuft. Also funktionieren die Komponenten und eine Leitung zum Hotel kann wohl nicht beschädigt sein. Dieses Hotel wird sehr oft empfohlen, dahingehend ist man auch bereit einen höheren Preis zu zahlen, man rechnet nie mit einer derartigen Farce und skrupellos belogen zu werden. Zur Abiturvorbereitung auch während des Urlaubs ist/war das Anpreisen einer kostenlosen W-LAN Verfügbarkeit mit der Auswahlgrund dieses Hotels.

We were welcomed by a very welcoming and friendly staff. They were really amazing. Food was the best for us, the varieties, quality and the taste. We enjoyed all our stay there. I will go back again and recommend it to all my friends. My only concern is that the room and the washer-room were old and needed to be renovated.

Die gesamte Anlage und der Garten sind wirklich wunderschön. Das Essen ist gut könnte aber an manchen Stellen etwas besser gewürzt sein, was in solchen Ländern eigentlich sonst kein Thema ist. Die Zimmer haben schon länger keine Renovierung erfahren, leider ist die Dusche eine Fehlkonstruktion und es läuft in Strömen heraus. Das war in beiden Zimmern der Fall, die wir hatten. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zu Späßen aufgelegt. Allerdings tendieren einige dazu den Service langsamer zu gestalten und sich ein wenig vor der Arbeit zu drücken, wenn der Chef nicht anwesend ist . Lag vielleicht auch am Ramadan, vielleicht ist es sonst anders. Ich hätte mir etwas mehr erwartet vom Sportprogramm, weil ich es aus anderen Clubs wie Magic Life, Aldiana oder Robinson gewohnt war. Man merkt aber, dass die Animateure keine Ahnung haben und sich selbst irgendetwas ausgedacht haben. Dabei wäre es relativ einfach ein gutes Youtube-Video auswendig zu lernen und z.B den Yoga Kurs durchzuziehen. Es gibt auch eine Surfstation, was aber mit den vielen Absperrungen der Riffs kaum zu meistern ist für Anfänger. Beautiful resort, but the hospitality needs improvement I recently stayed at Iberotel Makadi Beach, and while the resort itself is stunning, there were a few experiences that left me disappointed. Pros: The environment is serene and well-kept. The beach was absolutely breathtaking — crystal clear water and soft sand made for a perfect escape. My room was phenomenal — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It truly felt like a 5-star setup in terms of accommodations and scenery. Cons: The food was just average, especially considering this is supposed to be one of the top Jaz resorts. I expected better variety and quality. One major issue I encountered was the attitude of the staff. As someone from the Middle East, I felt there was a noticeable lack of warmth and hospitality extended toward me and others like me. The difference in how we were treated compared to European guests was very clear, and frankly, disheartening. The resort atmosphere is also extremely quiet and geared toward older guests. If you’re looking for fun or youthful energy, this may not be the right spot. Another major downside is the location — it’s quite isolated. If you want to explore or go anywhere, you’ll have to rely on taxis, and unfortunately, they tend to overcharge, especially when they know you’re a tourist. Loved the beautiful gardens, the beach, the pools and the relaxed and calm atmosphere compared to other hotels in the resort, all adding up to a truly refreshing stay. The food was also fantastic quality, make sure you book at the Arabesque restaurant for a try highlight. Only one minor issue was the cheap wardrobe doors which banged and clashed with the drawers, minor things but stands out against the otherwise excellent quality of the room, maintained to the highest standard by Mohsan (master of the towel art!) and the team.Above everything though, this hotel is all about the staff: you will not find a happier, friendlier, eager-to-please and personable bunch anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our return trip

Hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal. Überwiegend deutschsprachig, sehr guter Service. Gute Essensauswahl am Buffet als auch a la carte zu Essen. Ein Pool war mit angenehmer Temperatur beheizt.

Die gesamte Anlage und der Garten sind wirklich wunderschön. Das Essen ist gut könnte aber an manchen Stellen etwas besser gewürzt sein, was in solchen Ländern eigentlich sonst kein Thema ist. Die Zimmer haben schon länger keine Renovierung erfahren, leider ist die Dusche eine Fehlkonstruktion und es läuft in Strömen heraus. Das war in beiden Zimmern der Fall, die wir hatten. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zu Späßen aufgelegt. Allerdings tendieren einige dazu den Service langsamer zu gestalten und sich ein wenig vor der Arbeit zu drücken, wenn der Chef nicht anwesend ist . Lag vielleicht auch am Ramadan, vielleicht ist es sonst anders. Ich hätte mir etwas mehr erwartet vom Sportprogramm, weil ich es aus anderen Clubs wie Magic Life, Aldiana oder Robinson gewohnt war. Man merkt aber, dass die Animateure keine Ahnung haben und sich selbst irgendetwas ausgedacht haben. Dabei wäre es relativ einfach ein gutes Youtube-Video auswendig zu lernen und z.B den Yoga Kurs durchzuziehen. Es gibt auch eine Surfstation, was aber mit den vielen Absperrungen der Riffs kaum zu meistern ist für Anfänger. Alles in allem war es ein guter Urlaub, ich würde nächstes Mal aber wieder etwas mit mehr Aktivität buchen wollen.

Toller Aufenthalt in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage. Die Wege zwischen Restaurants, Zimmern und Strand sind kurz. Das Essen lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Sehr gut für Gäste mit kleinen Kindern: Der überdachte Spielplatz.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were great but …… I ate at the evening buffet and bbq. 29/06/2026 In the middle of the night some 4/5 hours later I was continually sick and this continued for 3 days. I suspect it was either the quail on the bbq or the ice in drinks. The ONLY place I ate or drank was the hotel. Company needs to review is hygiene standards, the last 4 days have been terrible. In additional we paid for a late check out as I could not leave the room. Ironic as the hotel caused the sickness.

Everything about my stay was more than perfect! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything I needed. Every single member of the team, including the front desk staff, made me feel truly valued and comfortable throughout my stay. The food was absolutely amazing with a great variety and excellent quality every day. The pool restaurant was one of my favorite spots — beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. The sandy beach was perfect, clean, relaxing, and ideal for enjoying the sea peacefully. One of the best things about this hotel is how quiet and peaceful the whole place is, making it perfect for relaxation. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. I especially loved the stunning garden and sea views. A very special thanks goes to the animation team, especially Rita and Islam, for their energy, kindness, and the fun atmosphere they created every day. I had an incredible experience and will definitely come back again!

We spent 5 wonderful days at Iberotel Makadi Beach and loved every moment. The beach was stunning, the food excellent, and the staff professional and genuinely helpful. Everything was well-managed and we felt truly well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended — we'll definitely be back!
