A Beautiful Resort, but Some Areas Need Improvement The hotel is very large, beautiful and impressive. We stayed as two families and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and overall concept of the resort. However, the breakfast was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. The variety and quality felt more like a typical three-star hotel, and we expected a much richer selection. The restaurants are also quite expensive. Dishes are generally served without side dishes, and an additional 19% tax, 12.5% service charge and 1% city charge are added to the bill, making the final prices considerably higher. That said, the Italian restaurant was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Because the resort is very large, buggy transportation is provided, which is convenient, although there can sometimes be a waiting time during busy periods. The hotel is mainly focused on relaxation and tranquility rather than entertainment. There is not much nightlife or evening entertainment, so I would recommend it more to guests looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Overall, it is a beautiful and impressive resort, but the breakfast and restaurant pricing did not fully match our expectations for a hotel of this level.

The hotel is huge, and you’ll hard arrive at seeing another guest. To move around from one spot to another, you have to use the buggy taxis provided by the property. Everything up to this point is fine: the hotel is truly beautiful, clean, and the staff are amazingly attentive. HOWEVER, breakfast is definitely not 5-star quality—it's the exact same items and quality every day, very average. Additionally, entertainment and animations at the hotel are very limited. Generally, there is only ambient music or a belly dancing show at night in the lounge next to the lobby. Another issue is the pricing across all restaurants: prices are extremely high, and you only get what you ordered on the plate. For instance, if you order a rib eye, you literally only get the piece of meat on your plate—no sides included. You have to order sides separately, and once you add the 19% tax and 12.5% service fee to everything, the bill becomes astronomical. I won't even go into alcohol prices; they are high across Egypt in general anyway. My point is, if you are looking for a quiet relaxing resort holiday and the downsides I mentioned aren't a dealbreaker for you, I would definitely recommend it. But if you want a livelier atmosphere, want to see other people, and have some fun, this hotel is not for you. Especially if you plan to have lunch and dinner at the hotel, be prepared for extra expenses that could exceed what you paid for the room itself.
