A experiência já começou de forma péssima desde a recepção. As atendentes de check-in disseram que não tinha reserva. Mostrei o código de reserva feito no site hoteis.com e mesmo assim ela dizia que queria um código diferente... o que não fazia o menor sentido, uma vez que eu já tinha recebido inclusive mensagem do hotel dizendo que estava tudo certo para minha chegada... com muita insistência localizaram a reserva, mas daí disseram que só era pra uma pessoa, e eu tinha feito a reserva pra casal. Mostrei novamente os impressos e até que enfim aceitaram... Mas cordialidade e alegria zero, pareciam que estavam me fazendo um grande favor. Esperamos o horário de entrada ao quarto, e para nossa surpresa o armário tinha baratas, o ar condicionado fazia um barulho muito alto, e pior não desligava de modo algum, passamos a noite inteira como se tivessemos dormindo numa casa de máquinas. Reclamamos a concierge e nos foi informado que era assim mesmo por conta da umidade e que precisava ficar ligado. Tentei novamente com a equipe da recepção para trocar de quarto, e finalmente mandaram alguém para mudar a configuração do ar, que continou sem desligar, mas ao menos conseguiamos reduzir a ventilação para aliviar o barulho. Experiencia péssima para o investimento. Vale destacar que alguns funcionários na praia nos atenderam bem, como o Ariel bem cordial e solicito. Em geral fiquei bem decepcionado.

The Pure Ocean dinner on the beach was wonderful and very private beach with romantic music playing with a beautiful sunset. Just perfect and Jarod was an awesome waiter!

The resort itself was nice. The beds are hard but everything was very clean. Our 12 year old loved the pools but the beach was too windy, causing cloudy water and sand blasting. Our first night there we had one of the rudest wait staff we've ever met in our life. When asking about the resort menu she seemed annoyed and would visibly roll her eyes and walk away.

The resort is clean and less crowded than many of the others on the same strip. The pool bar is great and the beach was wonderful, hardly any corral or rocks. Decent snorkeling. There was a jetty which is really nice, especially if you have kids and they want fish, You would need to have your own pole or rent one. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was very spacious and clean. Had a wonderful view of the ocean. Restaurants were basic , we didn’t eat at the more expensive seafood restaurant but the bar restaurant was so so and overpriced. We paid over $200 and we basically got burgers, wings, and one drink in total for one of us. There are much nicer restaurants in the same price zone close by. We did have an issue with our washer and dryer unit the last night. We were trying to complete some laundry before flying out the next day we asked for assistance from maintenance and they never showed up. Luckily, we use the common washer dryer units the next morning to dry our clothes before we left. If you’re OK with walking, you can get to some of the shopping options across the street, but some of the resorts further north are more convenient to the shops and restaurants across the street from the hotels. Overall, the resort was nice. The island was easy, especially the airport. They do show casinos as if they were part of the Divi Phoenix., there is no casino at this resort but there are casinos within a 10 to 15 minute walk though. They are very small.
