Overall good. Bathroom clean but when you flush the toilet the water smells. There is no parking at the hotel and you need to park 8-10 min away. But nobody from hotel tells you before you arrive.

Tamariu is a hidden gem. The albeit busy but secluded beach was excellent and incredibly child friendly. The only downside is parking which is maybe a 5 minute walk to multiple public locations. Hotel staff, amenities and location is hard to match.

The surrounding natural setting is beautiful. The beach nearby is a public beach. No separate beach facilities from the hotel. There is a walking path along the seashore nearby. The breakfast buffet is ok and is held in their restaurant on the terrace which has a pretty view. Overall service is inattentive, sloppy and slow. The dinner in their restaurant was poor in quality, very expensive and extremely slow service. Waiters were rude, seemed very stressed out, and short with the guests.

Lo bueno : entorno magnífico y servicio de toallas para la playa y consigna de maletas por si el último día quieres disfrutar del día y después ducharte. A mejorar : el horario del bar . No abre hasta la la 11:30 y si quieres solo tomar un café y una tostada has de coger el buffet. Cierta descordinacion con las reservas de recepcion y el restaurant.

This hotel is very well located in the tiny town of Tamariu, however is very overpriced for the condition of the hotel, its very clean but very outdated, we paid extra to have a sea view and our room was facing the mountain with a side “sea view”. Parking was really hard, they only have 9 spots available and we had to go park in the town main parking lot that was very full. It took us a while to park. Staff were really friendly and kind. But the rooms could use an update.

The location was very pretty and our initial interaction with the desk upon checking in was great. They were friendly and helpful. At night, the bar area began closing around 11pm and they turned the lights out on us while we were playing cards with no warning. We moved to the lounge area with the couches and they soon thereafter turned those lights off on us, with no communication. We asked if they would turn them back on and they said "no, that area is closed." Since they would not allow us to stay in the comfortable lounge area, we could only sit near the front desk and were told we had to be quiet because "this is a hotel" and we were near to other rooms. So we had to whisper to finish our card game. The whole interaction was rude and unhospitable. If you go to bed early and avoid the bar, you should not have a problem at this hotel.

Great hotel with a lovely room and patio with a view of the bay. Large very comfortable bed. The restaurant both for evening meal and breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the menu from the carte , discounted for residents . Lovely food and the breakfast assortment was varied and plentiful. Drinks in the Miridor Bar were great with the amazing view. The Miridor could do with more staff as service could be a bit slow. In the restaurant the the waiters, while great and attentive, could do with slowing down a little and then the atmosphere would be a bit more relaxed. It was just a little bit too hectic , perhaps they could do with a couple of extra staff on each shift. Drinks at the Vermuteria also lovely but it could stay open past 8 pm But all in all wonderful and we would love to go back and do it all again

Reception staff were welcoming, profession and kindly indulged the English in practicing their Spanish language skills. Clean fresh room with nice sea view. Limited pre-booked parking is available but expensive - free parking is available 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, but one would imagine that in the summer it would be very difficult.

La ubicación es genial ! Perfecta ! El hotel correcto para las estrellas que tiene. El servicio correcto. Nos tocó la habitación doble con 2 baños . Sin vistas pero Estupendo ! El único detalle ha sido el tema del parking y más en temporada alta . Un poco estresante . Creo se puede solucionar . Muchas gracias

A beautiful property with a stunning view. We initially planned to stay for one night but ended up extending our stay for three days. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the service was exceptional. The hotel is incredibly clean and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Will be returning!

The location and views couldn’t be beat. The room had ants and wasn’t adequately clean when we first checked in but the staff rectified that. I do wish that we had been better informed about amenities; we weren’t told that we had beach towels and I didn’t know there was conditioner available until I asked. We really enjoyed our time here and I’d come again. The walking paths and beach couldn’t be beat.

This hotel is right by the sea. It only takes a minute to walk to the beach. There's free parking close by. The town is very tiny but we ate at a restaurant right in front of the hotel and it was fantastic. Breakfast at the hotel was good, plenty of options. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, & the ac worked great.

Schöner Blick auf das Meer und den schon im September sehr ruhigen Ort, indem vieles bereits geschlossen ist. Das Hotel ist ein sehr angenehmes 3Sterne Hotel, leider wurde der Müll vor dem Balkon trotz Bitte nicht entfernt.

Neben dem wirklich heruntergekommenen Ort Tamariu war das Hotel auf den ersten Blick eine Wohltat. Die Zimmer waren zum Beispiel extrem sauber, allerdings ist das ganze Gebäude durch unzählige Anbauten seltsam verschachtelt und beengend. Die Anreise mit Auto ist beschwerlich, da immer nur drei Autos gleichzeitig vor dem Hotel parken können. Die Parkplätze sind generell begrenzt, man muss auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz ausweichen, der wieder mit einer Münzmaschine aus dem letzten Jahrhundert ausgestattet ist. Die größte Freude am Frühstücksbuffet haben die Tauben, die in Schwärmen die nicht abgeräumten Tische plündern. Auf der schönen Terrasse zu sitzen ist quasi unmöglich. Das Personal wirkt wie im Delirium und schwebt geistlos durch den Speisesaal, das Tauben-Chaos auf der Terrasse ignorierend (kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: ein Rabe aus Plastik) Es ist ein Hotel aus einer alten Zeit mit entsprechendem Publikum und deren gastronomischen Bedürfnissen. Vegetarisches oder gar veganes Essen ist weder im Ort noch im Hotel zu finden. Positiv zu bewerten, ist jedoch die Kosmetik: L‘Occitane ☺️

Situación inmejorable con unas vistas preciosas a la playa. Desayuno excelente. Nuestra habitación era grande con una gran terraza con vistas al mar. Lo peor, olía como a azufre el baño.

Hotel muy bonito. Ubicación espectacular. Desayuno rico. El único problema es que reservé una habitación con balcón con vistas al mar y la que me tocó no era una vista muy buena, ya que se veía un tejano y poca visibilidad a la playa, nada que ver con las fotos.

Hotel acogedor, muy bien ubicado en la playa de Tamariu. Terrazas y sala de estar que te permiten gozar de muy buenas vistas. El desayuno muy correcto y la cena excelente, muy buena cocina. Solo comentar que el colchón de la cama es excesivamente duro . Lo demás todo genial. Recepcionistas muy agradables.

Nous avons eu une super séjour à l'hôtel. Nous avions pris une chambre avec vu sur la mer et je le recommande fortement. La chambre est spacieuse et l'hotel est directement sur la plage donc vraiment pratique. Le seul hic que je dirais est que la chambre n'a pas de bouilloire ou cafetière et que les verres sont en carton donc pour un séjour de 5 jours c'est un peu désagréable. Le frigo est minuscule aussi. Donc pour un séjour aussi long ces quelques commodités auraient été appréciées. Sinon le personnel a été très gentil.

This hotel is very well located in the tiny town of Tamariu, however is very overpriced for the condition of the hotel, its very clean but very outdated, we paid extra to have a sea view and our room was facing the mountain with a side “sea view”. Parking was really hard, they only have 9 spots available and we had to go park in the town main parking lot that was very full. It took us a while to park. Staff were really friendly and kind. But the rooms could use an update.

Stunning location. Our room was great but the walls are very thin and every movement can be heard from the room above and next door. Service in the bar is a little disinterested. Restaurant was just ok, nothing special. The restaurants over the bay were much friendlier and the food better. Cleaning of the room was superb. So, as I said, mixed.

The breakfast buffet is ok and is held in their restaurant on the terrace which has a pretty view. Overall service is inattentive, sloppy and slow. The dinner in their restaurant was poor in quality, very expensive and extremely slow service. Waiters were rude, seemed very stressed out, and short with the guests.

Perfect location, but inconsistent staff. Check in clerk made several mistakes with parking and dinner reservation, bar staff got our food order wrong ( my husband does not eat red meat and instead of duck burger he got a beef burger). Cleaning staff was very competent.

Second stay at this hotel, outstanding setting! Make sure you book an ocean view as it’s stunning! Huge shoutout to Toney the head barman and his assistant Xavi!!! Excellent service and very helpful.

The location was very pretty and our initial interaction with the desk upon checking in was great. They were friendly and helpful. At night, the bar area began closing around 11pm and they turned the lights out on us while we were playing cards with no warning. We moved to the lounge area with the couches and they soon thereafter turned those lights off on us, with no communication. We asked if they would turn them back on and they said "no, that area is closed." Since they would not allow us to stay in the comfortable lounge area, we could only sit near the front desk and were told we had to be quiet because "this is a hotel" and we were near to other rooms. So we had to whisper to finish our card game. The whole interaction was rude and unhospitable. If you go to bed early and avoid the bar, you should not have a problem at this hotel.

This hotel has the perfect spot by the beach. You just walked down the stairs and you can enjoy the great view of the cala of Tamariu. The hotel is very pretty and their staff is beyond friendly. They really make you feel very comfortable. The bartenders Tomeu and Xavi, and Alex, Marcela and “el polaco” were absolutely incredible and service was amazing. We will definitely try to come back to this place.

The hotel has the most wonderful views, it’s quite run down. Great food, and again - the views from each bar and restaurant is 10/10. However - Tamariu - no parking spots and a beach where you’ll struggle to find a spot to put down your towel. If you LOVE views so much that you don’t care you’re no more than a foot away from your beach neighbor - you should totally come.

We LOVED our stay. Great view, great service, truly lovely dinner at the onsite restaurant. So easy to get to beach and hiking trails. We knew ahead of time parking would be slightly off site - very easy, though. We loved listening to the ocean at night. Great location for exploration of the region. We’d definitely stay again.

Tamariu is a hidden gem. The albeit busy but secluded beach was excellent and incredibly child friendly. The only downside is parking which is maybe a 5 minute walk to multiple public locations. Hotel staff, amenities and location is hard to match.

Beautiful room with huge sunny windows, very clean and modern furnishings. Our window room had two twin beds pushed together. Easy to find free public parking nearby, close to the beach. Steps directly down to the nice beach and waterfront restaurants. Did not try the hotel's own restaurant or bar as they seemed a little pricey. Tamariu is a tiny little town, very quiet in March. We had a nice hike to Begur.

This hotel is right by the sea. It only takes a minute to walk to the beach. There's free parking close by. The town is very tiny but we ate at a restaurant right in front of the hotel and it was fantastic. Breakfast at the hotel was good, plenty of options. cet hôtel n'a rien à envier aux 4* (téléviseur non connecté mis à part). Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue mer, et avons eu droit à une chambre supérieure avec une vraie terrasse. Le jour de beau temps, c'était exactement comme sur la photo c'est à dire superbe. Bon et copieux petit déjeuner (moins cher en l'incluant lors de la résa). Très bon matelas et sdb confortable. Personnel agréable. A refaire.

This property was in a fabulous location, and had restaurants and bars with great views of the water/beach. However, the facilities are a little rundown, and dated. But overall we enjoyed our stay here. Also the food was great, breakfast and dinners too!

Great hotel with a lovely room and patio with a view of the bay. Large very comfortable bed. The restaurant both for evening meal and breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the menu from the carte , discounted for residents . Lovely food and the breakfast assortment was varied and plentiful. Drinks in the Miridor Bar were great with the amazing view. The Miridor could do with more staff as service could be a bit slow. In the restaurant the the waiters, while great and attentive, could do with slowing down a little and then the atmosphere would be a bit more relaxed. It was just a little bit too hectic , perhaps they could do with a couple of extra staff on each shift. Drinks at the Vermuteria also lovely but it could stay open past 8 pm But all in all wonderful and we would love to go back and do it all again

Nydelig sted Tamariu, nesten så jeg ikke vil fortelle om det siden det var nok turister der allerede. Hotellet ligger perfekt til og har alt nær, samtidig løftet litt fra sentrum. Frokosten og middagen var veldig god, anbefaler restauranten. Det som var dumt var mangel på kaffemuligheter før frokosten åpner (sent, kl 08), spesielt hvis man har avtalt tidlig padletur f.eks, eller ønsker stå opp for en tur før den verste varmen slår inn. Det var heller ikke vannkoker på rommet, eller mulighet for å lage te/kaffe selv.

Neben dem wirklich heruntergekommenen Ort Tamariu war das Hotel auf den ersten Blick eine Wohltat. Die Zimmer waren zum Beispiel extrem sauber, allerdings ist das ganze Gebäude durch unzählige Anbauten seltsam verschachtelt und beengend. Die Anreise mit Auto ist beschwerlich, da immer nur drei Autos gleichzeitig vor dem Hotel parken können. Die Parkplätze sind generell begrenzt, man muss auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz ausweichen, der wieder mit einer Münzmaschine aus dem letzten Jahrhundert ausgestattet ist. Die größte Freude am Frühstücksbuffet haben die Tauben, die in Schwärmen die nicht abgeräumten Tische plündern. Auf der schönen Terrasse zu sitzen ist quasi unmöglich. Das Personal wirkt wie im Delirium und schwebt geistlos durch den Speisesaal, das Tauben-Chaos auf der Terrasse ignorierend (kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: ein Rabe aus Plastik) Es ist ein Hotel aus einer alten Zeit mit entsprechendem Publikum und deren gastronomischen Bedürfnissen. Vegetarisches oder gar veganes Essen ist weder im Ort noch im Hotel zu finden. Positiv zu bewerten, ist jedoch die Kosmetik: L‘Occitane ☺️

Nice to have a sea cove balcony view when it is the cutest picture perfect location. Robes and slippers with L’Occitane goodies, free and good wifi. Quiet and restaurant is fine linen but there is a gap in that the snack bar resto menu is limited and only started at 7:30pm. Parked in free village lot and all good.

The hotel was clean and quiet. We were there for just one night and the hotel staff was very accommodating. They helped us book a taxi to deliver our bags to our hotel in Calelleta de Palafrugell since we were walking the Cami de Ronda trail. The hotel was clean. The views were amazing! We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was excellent as well as the breakfast the next morning. We will definitely return and stay longer!

Hotel Hostalillo exceeded our expectations. We were looking forward to being so close to the beach, however we did not realise it would be 20 steps down to the seafront! Our room was a balcony with beach view, so worth the extra money as walking up everyday watching the sea was so lovely. The room was impeccably clean, with lovely L’Occitane toiletries, and the bed was ginormous! Staff were really helpful, and every detail had been thought through, like the beach towels that were available. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again.
