Royal Mediterranean Hotel

It’s Great, with a 24 hr massage centre, Loved it.

Regarding the room and the location, it was pretty great. However, i am in disbelief that a Hotel that hosts so many interionational guests has a very poor english speak staff. Front desk, maybe 2 girls speak english, the rest hardly, and most of the communitacion had to be through apps. The "spa" has no english speaking personel and pretty much MAKES YOU have to take a service in order to get what you need or want. As a tourist, tired of walking 8 hours straight, this is not the place to go. They dont really care about international guests it seems, as their services are not for us. Also, the restaurant offerings... dont eat there. Personel is very attentive, except when you call the operator. The hotel itself is at walking distance from many shopping malls and restaurants. The attached mall connects to the street's pedestrian bridge. In general, is a good stay value. Just, be warned about the big english language barrier. REgardless, i will stay here on my next trip.

We had 3 rooms, the two rooms at lower levels were nice besides basic plumbing and maintenance issues but the more ‘premium’ room was very lacking. Water took 5 minutes to become warm, never hot. We had to boil the kettle to get water to right level to give baby a bath so we know the temperature. Poor plumbing and maintenance, loud elevator noise and people coming and going via a fire escape at all hours echoing into the bedroom. Bedroom view was of a padlocked balcony with the decorative fake bricks pealing back. Less premium rooms seemed much nicer and just as spacious, they also had hot water though drains all need a good clean. Is an easy 2 star for the top room and 3 stars for the lower rooms. Stayed there as they promoted a free cot which even we’d booked for was not available without some alternative solution offered by staff. Pretty sure the room we were assigned was not one that was renovated in any recent decade if we look at the state of the heavily torn carpets and old wall panelling. They mentioned some new shower head but the shower we had could only use the old one as the roof was heavily rusted and shot in all directions.

Property was musty and moldy. Difficult to breath in corridors.

It isn’t so clean like the pictures. Very old hotel, very bad service. WiFi WLAN doesn’t work. Absolutely bad hotel

There was mold all over hotel

The ceiling was leaking like a heavy rain, and even though it was repaired twice, it was not repaired. There is no compensation or upgrade compensation from the hotel. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Room is big and clean

Very old Hotel , Showers are really bad , blocked and slippery with algae . uncomfortable beds , very old furniture , never be 5 star hotel like this.

The quality of the housekeeping was good as it is important to have a comfortable room to stay

Urgent a Remodelation from the Hotel

房間夠大，窗外景觀可清楚望到廣州塔，非常好

Nice big rooms

We stayed there for one night. All power plugs didn't work, which caused refrigerator and all other electric devices couldn't work. When we talked to the front desk while checking out, the staff didn't give any explanation, not even said a word of sorry.

The WiFi was slow and charging appliances was a bit of an issue. Convenient location and close to public transportation.

No recomiendo el hotel para viajes de negocios. Es la tercera vez que me hospedo y será la última. Poca flexibilidad del personal a cargo y un desayuno lamentable. Antes de la pandemia el desayuno de este hotel era un 10/10. Ahora con suerte es un 3. nula variedad de comida, mala predisposición del personal.

This 5 star property to me is probably 4 star at best? The hotel is actually quite nice but its abit run down. The air outside feels cleaner than my room. But overall i think its pretty great in terms of location amenities and its beautiful. BUT there is a day staff named Carine and a night staff guy with pony tail. They have VERY BAD SERVICE. Their service makes this hotel cheap like budget hotel. Carine’s attitude is very bad, doesnt greet or help n will make some remarks etc. The guy with pony tail hair, we happened to approach the counter to check something on 2 seperate nights, he doesnt greet, no smile, after hearing out queries jus look down and ignore us. Both times the colleague beside him have to answer out questions. This 2 staff ARE TERRIBLE.

Nice hotel but the area looks very rundown, hence the reason for the high wall around me the entrance. Hotel and staff though were very pleasant and we had a nice stay there.

They forced me to take a smoking room

Die Hotelbeschreibung (Ausstattung etc) und die Realität weichen stark voneinander ab. Das Personal war wenig um Service bemüht.

A little far from the metro..

Nice hotel but the area looks very rundown, hence the reason for the high wall around me the entrance. Hotel and staff though were very pleasant and we had a nice stay there.

交通方便, 附近飲食很多選擇, 近電腦商場, 附近有很多大型商場, 晚間也很多小食, 特別是週末. 酒店空間ok

Good place for travelers to get rest and dining.

Hotel had lukewarm water on the 48th floor. Not a must but it didn’t have room service either. Wouldn’t recommend.
