This hotel is a gem. Umberto and his staff couldn’t be more helpful and the location was simply spectacular. The room were very spacious and super clean and convenient. The upstairs mini fridge was stocked with cold water and soft drinks which was perfect in lieu of a mini bar. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Florence.

The property and staff are amazing! Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay and wish we had longer. The made to order breakfast was delicious and unexpected, more like a BnB experience. From the pictures we knew the property was a bit quirky but we found it fun and charming. The biggest challenge was the small elevator and walking 4 flights of stairs. The staff minimized this by taking our luggage up and down at the beginning and end of the stay. Also rental cars are not advisable with tiny streets in the area and difficult even for taxis to avoid walking tourists. Definitely walkable to all major sites (Duomo, Uffizi, Academia) and property/location is highly recommended!!

Loved our room and stay. It’s in the middle of everything, right around the corner from Uffizi gallery. There is also a stow away baggage area nearby, if you get in too early. The train/metro station is about a 14 min walk. The breakfast is amazing, and they can bring it to your room upon request. The staff was helpful and friendly. They have a small elevator for your luggage and for one person to get on. You have to take the stairs for the rooms.

Lovely boutique hotel, right off the square where the Uffizi is located, and surprisingly quiet, given the location. The staff were very gracious and helpful, and the amenities lovely. There was a bar & breakfast area where they kept a refrigerator stuffed with soft drinks and water, and the bar had a ton of bottles for choices (but many of them were empty!) A wonderful gourmet breakfast started at 8am and it was served by the staff around a big table -- so a nice way to interact with other guests, but also a bit difficult to rush it, or get/refill coffee when you wanted it.

We enjoyed our stay. The location in the square cannot be beat. The view from our room and from the breakfast table were wonderful. Once you find it the first time (use the numbered address and ring the bell for entry, do not look for a sign) the location near several landmarks makes it easy to find your way back. The breakfast was good and the complementary lounge area was unexpected and very welcoming. Don’t expect ultra modern furnishing, this is charming and spacious and old worldly with lovely paintings, fresh flowers, and beautiful historic furniture. We would stay again when we return to Florence.

This is such a charm hotel. Remember it’s Italy and so everything is slightly worn. The beds and pillows were great and extra towels provided. They have a mini bar with free waters, sodas and juices and it’s self service. The breakfast was very charming. Pastries, fruit plates, yogurt and eggs cooked to your order. The coffee options were amazing and the best coffee!!! The location could not be better. Best best location for walking. 4 minutes to the Duomo, 2 minutes to the Uffizi, and right at one of the best plazas. Restaurants and shopping everywhere. Mini fridge was great for keeping sodas and waters cold. The elevator is so ao so tiny that we just walked the stairs. Lots of stairs but it’s Italy after all. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and arranged taxis as needed.

We stayed in an apartment here and it was very comfortable and clean. A wonderful breakfast was included where you can meet your fellow residents. Being a small hotel with just a few guests made the breakfast experience cozy. It felt like we had been invited to a European family's home for the weekend! You are given free access to the bar 24/7 which they keep stocked with water, juice and soft drinks. The location here cannot be beat with everything within a very close walking distance.

This was one of my best finds in a long time. The location, charm, and most important the staff and owners were top knotch. The bathroom was spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent, and our windows opened out onto the Piazza della Signoria! To our pleasant surprise with both the inner and outer windows closed you couldn’t hear any street noise at all. We will absolutely be back next time we’re in Florence.

This is one of the best places we have stayed at. The rooms were authentic, yet in great condition and clean. The service was extra-ordinary. George and his team provided us with a great daily breakfast and were so welcoming into their kitchen for anything we needed. They also provided free drinks, which we all loved, and had a chance to meet some of the other guests, and all of us were as in love with the hotel and service. In addition to all this, the place is so perfectly located and within 10 minutes of all the top attractions, but it’s quiet at night. The AC was effective and beds were comfortable. We were on the top floor, so did have to climb stairs which was the only con, however the room was well worth it. They do have an elevator for your luggage, which they helped bring up and take down for us. I would stay here again without a doubt!

We were in the top floor apartment and it was not very well maintained. It was dusty with very worn sofa, drapes, and bed cushions, and the thermostat did not function well. There was a mirror in the bathroom that was dangerously cracked. The property is ideally located in Piazza Signoria, in a characteristic 13th-16th century building; the breakfast was good, the staff were freindly and helpful and guests were invited to help themselves to alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages in the fridge. These latter amenities were all great but did not quite offset the condition of our room, especially for the price.

Hotel was in a convenient location, staff was super friendly and willing to help in any way, room was very clean and quiet even though it was located in the heart of Piazza Della Signoria. The included breakfast was a welcome amenity and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this property when in Florence.

Beautiful Old World charm boutique hotel situated in a great location. Uffizi Gallery is across the piazza. Galleria Dell'Accademia di Florence is short walk down cobblestone streets. This was by far the best place we stayed on our trip to Italy. We traveled with our kids (10 & 8) so location and convenience was important. We enjoyed our stay. The location in the square cannot be beat. The view from our room and from the breakfast table were wonderful. Once you find it the first time (use the numbered address and ring the bell for entry, do not look for a sign) the location near several landmarks makes it easy to find your way back. The breakfast was good and the complementary lounge area was unexpected and very welcoming. Don’t expect ultra modern furnishing, this is charming and spacious and old worldly with lovely paintings, fresh flowers, and beautiful historic furniture. We would stay again when we return to Florence.

Everything about our stay was perfect. We had the Michelangelo room with view of the piazza, it was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Location 10/10 in the center of Florence walking distance to Ponte Vechio, Duomo, shopping, restaurants and many other locations. Taxi from Airport dropped us off right in front of the Hotel door. The owner was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable, spoke great English and gave us lots of recommendations. Not to mention it has a free bar for all guests and breakfast was amazing, felt like we got invited to eat at his home giving us the opportunity to meet the rest of the guest and make some friends 😊 highly recommend!!

From the minute we walked in, we knew this hotel was exceptional! Located at the heart of the square and walkable to so many incredible things in Florence. Monica and Umberto were so helpful upon arrival and Mattheo was great to chat with to learn more about this family hotel. The breakfast staff were exceptional…cappuccinos were lovely and breakfast was perfect! The hotel history was fascinating and the staff went out of their way to make sure any and all needs were fulfilled. The windows and views in our bedroom were breathtaking! Will surely miss this unique hotel experience!

Look no further, this is a fantastic place to stay and offers great value. We traveled as a family of four with a 14-year-old and an 11-year-old. The service was top-notch and we felt like we were part of the family. The hotel is in an excellent location and our apartment was great. The place is owned by a family and they understand service and were incredibly hospitable. The breakfast spoiled us with made to order eggs, a beautiful plate of fruit, and the freshest rolls and croissants. The coffee was excellent and unfortunately, we haven’t found as good of coffee anywhere else in Italy.. The staff are wonderful, every single one of them. A few things to note, the rooms are up a narrow flight of stairs, so if you have any physical challenges, this might not be the best place, although there is a small elevator. The staff go out of their way for you. For example, we couldn’t get reservations at several of the nice restaurants And the sun in the family physically went down and out of the hotel, and walked to the restaurant and made a reservation for us. He also made reservations via phone. They provide unlimited water, minibar, etc. we have been staying at multiple places and this one by far was the best and exceeded our expectations.

Perfect B&B in the heart of Florence. Great staff and breakfast. We had a 5am taxi pick up for the airport which was done by the staff and at 4:50am we get a knock in the door to take our bags down stairs. What service!

Mateo and his staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome here. We rented this place at the last minute because the VRBO we booked several months prior ghosted us and never sent check in instructions. Mateo dropped everything to get us checked in and gave us a tour of the beautiful, historic palace. It’s a magnificent boutique hotel with only 12 rooms and they make you feel like you’re the only guest. They seemed upset when we weren’t able to come for breakfast since we had early trains to catch each day that we were there. I wish I could have extended our trip because we didn’t want to leave here! Also, the location is superb, right there in Piazza del Signoria!!!

We had a short stay in Florence and this was a perfect location of us. The biggest 5 star rating was the helpfulness of the owners in retrieving a passport that we left in Rome. We were frantic when we realized we have left the passport in an Airbnb in Rome, and they went out of their way to help us have it retrieving and brought back to Florence. I cant say how much we appreciate it. FANTASTIC service!!!

This hotel was unlike any other! It felt like youre staying at a friend or family members house, not a hotel! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Their delicious breakfast normally starts at 8 AM, but we had an excursion planned and needed to head out by 7:15. They got started with breakfast early and made sure that we had some coffee and pastries before we needed to leave!! The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the hotel is within walking distance to all the sights and restaurants. If we come back to Florence, we will definitely be staying here again. 10/10!

The entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! Great restaurant recommendations and help with reservations (Maga Maro was wonderful), and a very comfortable room. Location is very convenient for walking to all other attractions in the city and in a popular area for shopping and restaurants. Would absolutely return!

Being a small hotel with just a few guests made the breakfast experience cozy. It felt like we had been invited to a European family's home for the weekend! You are given free access to the bar 24/7 which they keep stocked with water, juice and soft drinks. The location here cannot be beat with everything within a very close walking distance.

Lovely boutique hotel, right off the square where the Uffizi is located, and surprisingly quiet, given the location. The staff were very gracious and helpful, and the amenities lovely. There was a bar & breakfast area where they kept a refrigerator stuffed with soft drinks and water, and the bar had a ton of bottles for choices (but many of them were empty!) A wonderful gourmet breakfast started at 8am and it was served by the staff around a big table -- so a nice way to interact with other guests, but also a bit difficult to rush it, or get/refill coffee when you wanted it.

One of our favorite stays in Italy! It’s like staying in your own palazzo, a secret door, with the best breakfast we’ve ever had in all our Italy travels, in a grand dining room with fellow travelers. It is old world charm, historical. Its location made it easy to rest in mid day heat, then wander out for the evening. But the staff make it the best, from the eggs they cooked to order, yummy pastries, check in, luggage service, room cleaning and all with smiles! We loved our stay and will recommend to others.

This is such a charm hotel. Remember it’s Italy and so everything is slightly worn. The beds and pillows were great and extra towels provided. They have a mini bar with free waters, sodas and juices and it’s self service. The breakfast was very charming. Pastries, fruit plates, yogurt and eggs cooked to your order. The coffee options were amazing and the best coffee!!! The location could not be better. Best best location for walking. 4 minutes to the Duomo, 2 minutes to the Uffizi, and right at one of the best plazas. Restaurants and shopping everywhere. Mini fridge was great for keeping sodas and waters cold. The elevator is so ao so tiny that we just walked the stairs. Lots of stairs but it’s Italy after all. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and arranged taxis as needed.

Adoramos passar 4 dias no Hotel Boutique In Piazza della Signoria. Super bem localizado no centro historico de Florença, do lado do Palacio Vecchio e da Galeria Uffizi , Ponte Vecchio e próximo a quase todos pontos turisticos, inclusive Galleria della Academia (1 km) , Duomo, Taxi chega ate a porta do hotel na zona de tráfego limitado a moradores, taxis e veículos autorizados. There were a lot of steps but you can use the single person elevator. The staff and breakfast were fantastic. The location is unbeatable. Stay here because of the location but know that the staff will work very hard to make your stay memorable.
