CDH Hotel La Spezia

The room was very nice and clean, and the staff were pleasant. However, there were no self-service laundry facilities as mentioned in the description — only paid laundry service. The shower was quite small, and unfortunately, there’s no real view from the room. The bedroom door opens to a large unfinished porch that faces other buildings so closely you could talk to the neighbors. Suggestion: It would be lovely if the porch floor were finished and decorated with fairy lights and some greenery or small trees to create a garden feel and add privacy.

L'hotel est idéalement situé pour accéder facilement et sans reprendre notre voiture. Acces sur le rue piétonne principale avec les ferries à gauche et la gare à droite, pour visiter les 5 terre. Prevoir une petite voiture ppur stationner dans le parking (14€/jour).

Clean hotel with friendly staff and decent breakfast and a parking space (though hard to find during the initial checkin) - Elevators were problematic - The shower was too small

Our room was on 5th floor. Unfortunately the elevator was a disaster. One small elevator that five people would hardly fit in. Sometimes I had to wait 5-8 minutes for elevator and it was making scary bumps ( 5 times) on each stops.

Hotel muito bem localizado, proximo a opcoes de restaurantes, fast food e bom comercio. Facil acesso para estacao de trem e terminal dos barcos para visitar Cinque Terre. Tem alternativa de estacionamento, proximo, muito importante pois hotel esta no limite de area restrita para veiculos. Tive sorte de encontrar uma das 3 vagas da frente do hotel livre, quando cheguei. Quarto amplo, somente box banheiro muito pequeno, mas bom chuveiro.

Hotellet ligger meget centralt i forhold til byen. Efter min opfattelse er 4 stjerner lige i overkanten for hotellet. 3 stjerner havde været mere passende, da det virker noget slidt og industrielt. Morgenbuffeten var ok. Noget knap med parkeringsmuligheder. Hotellet havde 8-10 pladser som tilsyneladende hurtigt var optaget. Vi måtte selv ud og finde en plads i byen.

Chambre de bonne taille par contre douche en mauvais état et trop petite ( traces humidité, porte de douche cassée pas du tout étanche , toilette trop proche du lavabo pas dutout pratique, Travaux à prévoir. chambre en sous niveau avec vis à vis sur l’immeuble d’à côté . Le prix est exagéré par rapport aux prestations !

Very nice hotel, comfortable and very clean. will def use it again if I go back there. Super close to the high street and shops. About 10 minutes walk from the station. Staff very friendly and breakfast very nice.

Appréciable : la proximité de la rue piétonne et des commerces, des musées et de la gare centrale de La Spezia. Regrettable : l'état de la Salle de bains. Porte de douche non étanche, présence d'humidité sur les murs et nuisances olfactives (remontées d'odeurs) au niveau de la douche.

Accueil chaleureux , chamber propre . Très satisfait.

Personnel très accueillant Chambre très propre, très agréable avec literie confortable. petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Nous avons également apprécié le garage situé à proximité de l'hôtel. Loved this stay. Im not sure why the negative reviews. Stayed with my 4 adult children and it was perfect. Breakfast was great. Clean. Civilized. :) close to train and centro. Particularly loved Sara at reception. I have nothing negative to say but if i had to the only thing was the noise at night from residential area. But it was a Saturday night and we kept our windows open. Highly recommend

Small room and noisy. Italian govt has banned A/C use until June. Leaving windows open is noisy and let in mosquitoes.

We felt that the room was very basic for the price we paid. Lack of storage space, no coffee/tea facilities in room and bed far too soft. However the room was spacious, clean and the location excellent for what we wanted and the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful

Very very very small showers. The property employees were excellent accommodating us by moving us to a bigger room (of course we had to pay the difference, no problem) but the shower was the same size. Will definitely stay there again.

This is a good hotel if you are staying in La Spezia. It is close to the main strip which is minutes from the dock in one direction and minutes from the city centre in the other. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. My son left his cell phone in our cab when we checked out and left for the train and the front desk staff helped us track it down and get it to us in our next location. The only criticism I have is the bathrooms are really tight, especially the showers. I am 5’11 and I found it tight.

The hotel is tied and over rated should be a 3 star in my opinion. Unfortunately our room was directly below reception and the hard floors meant we heard most footsteps also clos to the lift which pinged when it arrived at our floor The towels and bed sheets were getting to the end of their lives and should not be used anymore. The shower screen was a double bifold which met at the external corner not easy to seal and therefore water did escape. The bedroom was a good size but not enough hanging space or drawers if you wanted to unpack. We will not be rebooking this hotel.

Location is great. In the City Centre. 11 minutes to Central Station and 10 minutes to the Ferry terminal. Short walk to the shops and restaurants Room is not a 4 stars. Basic room. No coffee maker/tea or electric jug. No glass to drink either. Only fridge Bathroom: small, shower is bad, small shower head and low water pressure. Disposable plastic cups in the bathroom. Only 1 elevator for 7 floors building and takes ages Breakfast is free and good variety Staff is friendly and check in easy Overall: only location that's make this hotel 4 stars

The sound of the slamming of the hotel back door kept me awake.

Hôtel bien situé mais extrêmement bruyant : aucune isolation. Clim bruyante. Salle de bains et douche minuscules. Chambre sur patio très sombre : on ne voit pas le ciel. À éviter si on aime un minimum de confort et un bon rapport qualité prix.

El hotel está buenísimo! frente al Castello San Giorgio ubicado en plantas diferentes, por el diseño de la ciudad, dando a diferentes calles y plantas.. Es un hotel moderno que no sorprende con su estética, pero si en su comodidad y variedad de opciones cercanas. La habitación muy amplia con un Tv pequeño pero útil. El baño es amplio y quizá no funciono bien del todo la climatización y el toallero. La ducha era pequeña para lo grande que era el baño un tanto incómoda. El diseño es muy sobrio y simple de la estética de la habitación. La posibilidad de poder ingresar por la peatonal por auto por la calle principal es fabulosa. Excelente desayuno muchas opciones diferentes!! Sinceramente aunque la spezia no era el destino primario ya que desde la estación de tren estas a 15 min cerca de las cinqueterre, nos encantó, por ser acogedora, histórica, bella y tener de todo. El personal de limpieza de las habitaciones y del desayunador muy bueno, pero destacamos la atención de Gianluca de recepción de la tarde que fue muy amable y atento en ayudarnos... nuestras vacaciones fueron mejores pasando por esta bella y acogedora ciudad. Volveríamos!

We were traveling with a baby and even though AC was advertised, we were told they were saving the environment and could not switch ours on. It was 26 degrees Celsius in the room, our refridgerator did not work, and so all baby food was spoiled and no one slept due to the conditions in the room.

Tivemos apenas um problema no banheiro mas foi prontamente solucionado pelo hotel, ótima localização, café da manhã espetacular. Parabéns pelo atendimento da recepcionista Laura, que nos atendeu muito bem e nos deu várias dicas.

Convenient location, good room. The service was in general good, but the lady in breakfast room not friendly as expected.

I would highly recommend skipping this hotel. It is seriously run down and the staff are terrible. What’s funny is they proudly state 4 stars on the hotel, the reality is it’s less than 1 star. Due to a change in our itinerary we needed to make change our booking from 2 to 1 days and called ahead of time and we’re told this was possible by the staff. When we arrived at the hotel later the story changed were told we were past the change period and would have to pay for the entire stay. We spoke to the manager the next day who was not friendly and did nothing. They are just out for money and do not care about customer service. We ended up having to pay for 2 nights and leaving after 1. If you are booking a hotel to see the Cinque Terre look for another option. You will thank me.

The reception staff was super. Room was cool and clean. Hotel is so close to so much. La Spezia centrum is magnificent. Very close to castle with superb views. Can’t wait to come back and spend more time.

Amazing Hotel, location is great, just next to shopping and restaurants Main Street. Ferry terminal and train station is short walk away. Service is amazing with friendly and helpful staff!!

Was walkable in each direction either to Main Street or to train station. Easy walk to waterfront. Breakfast was included and was good with lots of options. Great place to stay if you want to access cinque terra by train. Would recommend.

Siamo stati ospiti del Cdh a La Spezia qualche giorno fa, abbiamo trovato una bella struttura con posizione ottima per visitare il centro di Spezia con tanto di uscita secondaria proprio nel centro storico della città, idea ottima per chi vuole andare a cena fuori senza spostarsi da Spezia. Per quanto riguarda la visita delle 5 terre e del vicino centro di Lerici la posizione è ideale. La camera era un po’ datata, specialmente il bagno, ma era pulita e veniva pulita ogni giorno dallo staff, la colazione era abbondante e nella media come qualità dei prodotti, lo staff in generale è stato cordiale e disponibile in quasi tutte le occasioni. Note negative? Nel complesso la struttura non è adatta ad avere 4 stelle, direi che sono 3 stelle piene e meritate. Un ringraziamento speciale va comunque a Vito, il direttore, che ci ha aiutato a risolvere in incomprensione avuta durante il nostro soggiorno. Unici consiglii, nella sala colazioni sarebbe meglio al mattino una musica un po’ più tranquilla del reggaeton (che avevo dovuto far togliere perché alle 8 del mattino non era l’ideale), in camera meglio far trovare già le ciabattine e non costringere il cliente a doverle recuperare in reception e ultimo consiglio, meglio che lo staff delle pulizie prepari il necessario lontano dalle porte delle camere da letto in quanto al mattino presto con i muri in cartongesso era abbastanza rumoroso. Nel complesso ci tornerei per un soggiorno breve.

Best breakfast in Italy!

El hotel está muy bien situado. El desayuno está muy bien, te hacen el cafe en el momento y tienen una variedad de dulce increíble. La cama estaba hundida en el centro,por lo demás bien
