Roberto and his wife Victoria are wonderful hosts! He treats you like his best friend. He is gracious, helpful and has a great since of humor, and knows everyone in Montepulciano. La Terrazza is conveniently locate and offers parking for it's guests. Gracie mille Roberto!

Siamo tornati per la seconda volta in questa meravigliosa struttura nel centro di Montepulciano. L’albergatore e sua moglie sono due persone davvero squisite ed accoglienti. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. La struttura ha delle stanze in stile veneziano con arredi pregevoli ed è comodissima in quanto si trova in centro ed ha un parcheggio riservato. Ottima anche la colazione. Consigliatissimo!

LOCATION, LOCATION. Roberto's hotel is at the heart of the med-evil city. He and his wife are very welcoming. Provides free car park and is within walking distances of all that Montepulciano has to offer. This is our second time staying there, and will do so again. Bravo!

Roberto and Victoria were the most charming and delightful couple to stay with. The Hotel is in a primo position, parking was plentiful, and their charm was infectious. Could mot have been better.

We were welcomed by Roberto and showed where our special parking would be. Our room was spacious and overlooked the street below Breakfast was a wonderful spread included in the price and perfect to start each busy day.

Great hotel in middle of Montepulciano ancient city, our hosts were very pleasant and helpful, Roberto is super fun to talk with and shared me lots of tips for rest of trip in Italy. The terrace on top of the building is special, you can find mature trees growing on it, very quiet place to have breakfast and chill during evening. Very happy I booked that hotel, would go back without hesitation. PS: do not enter the ZTL zone with car !

A wonderful experience all around. Roberto and his wife are accomplished hosts. Our room was spotless, comfortable and gave us a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast was equally good with an assortment of pastries, meats, cheese, fruit and beverages both hot and cold. As a bonus the dogs are very friendly and well behaved and helpful to those who are traveling without their furry companions. Will try to get back here soon!

Really nice family hotel, great location. Spacious room, super clean, comfy bed. Everything is in good condition, lovely hosts, good breakfast. The only thing it’s missing is air conditioning. The fan keeps the room ok temperature-wise, but can’t close the window because of it. And depending on the room, the restaurant in the street can be quite noisy.

Good location with close easy parking. Staff was very friendly and made for an enjoyable stay. Room was clean and comfortable, although some of the furnishings and decor could be updated. Breakfast was very good The only real drawback is that the shower was very small.

Vi fik en utrolig venlig og hjælpsom modtagelse af hotellets ejer, Roberto. Han kørte os tillige ned til hvor vores bil var parkeret og kørte os rundt i Montepulciano. Dejlig morgenmad, smukt indrettet værelse og utrolig renlig. Central placering med 5 min gang til den gamle bydel. Gratis parkering udenfor hotellet. Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel

Rent a car and drive the Tuscan countryside and stay at this hotel in Montepulciano. Roberto and his wife (princess) Elda were amazing and entertaining hosts. The hotel is right in the shopping and dining district, and there are multiple streets and sights to explore. Every few blocks there is another perch from which to look out over the incredible countryside. The room was large and beautiful, and you can hear the shoppers and diners down below the window. Walk up to the Piazza Grande in the center of town.

Roberto is quite a character - very exuberant and passionate. He & his wife are superb hosts. My room was clean & comfortable, the only small downside is that the air conditioning was only a fan....but at least it didn't dry out my eyes & nose! Breakfast is a great performance. Roberto & Vittoria serve you everything. Roberto comes around with a trolley full of yoghurts, pastries & cakes & insists you try them. Then out comes the meat & cheese on plates for the table all served with his inimitable flair! You will not go hungry The hotel is in a great position in Montepulciano with lots of shops & restaurants around. Yes, as others have said there are quite a lot of stairs in the property but if you are visiting a hilltop town like Montepulciano you must be prepared for stairs & steep inclines around the town anyway Would definitely recommend Hotel la Terrazza

Roberto is very friendly. Shower is small. Bring your own soap, shan’t and conditioner as what they offer is very small for 2 people. Otherwise great location and beds were comfortable

What an incredible experience! We absolutely adored our stay with Roberto and Vittoria. The hotel is so cosily decorated and Roberto and Vittoria give you true Italian family hospitality - you feel like part of the family and you’re given a great introduction to Montepulciano with a drive around with Roberto when you first arrive. Roberto and Vittoria were also so kind with our 9 month old baby, who utterly adored them. Vittoria’s breakfast cakes are divine too!!

The owner of this property is rude and nasty with guests. There is no AC in the room, only fan, which is not sufficient. Parking is far away and you have to carry luggage up the hill for about 15 min. Owner attitude is terrible. We would never stay in this hotel again

Perfect location - could walk everywhere. Roberto and his wife were incredible hosts. They treated us like family. They served us a delicious breakfast, gave us information about restaurants and wine tastings, provided help with transportation. We hope to return soon. This place is a gem. The hosts make it very special.

Roberto and Victoria have a lovely hotel, clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Roberto was very helpful with onsite parking and went out of he's way to be an excellent host. Highly recommend this place.

Roberto and his wife were just so welcoming. They were amazing. The town is fantastic, so safe and so beautiful. We also enjoyed the restaurants, the wineries, and the shops right in the old town. We enjoyed every moment. We do hope to come back and we will stay with Roberto again. The location was perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see.

Rent a car and drive the Tuscan countryside and stay at this hotel in Montepulciano. Roberto and his wife (princess) Elda were amazing and entertaining hosts. The hotel is right in the shopping and dining district, and there are multiple streets and sights to explore. Every few blocks there is another perch from which to look out over the incredible countryside. The room was large and beautiful, and you can hear the shoppers and diners down below the window. Walk up to the Piazza Grande in the center of town.

LOCATION, LOCATION. Roberto's hotel is at the heart of the med-evil city. He and his wife are very welcoming. Provides free car park and is within walking distances of all that Montepulciano has to offer. This is our second time staying there, and will do so again. Bravo!

Great hotel in middle of Montepulciano ancient city, our hosts were very pleasant and helpful, Roberto is super fun to talk with and shared me lots of tips for rest of trip in Italy. The terrace on top of the building is special, you can find mature trees growing on it, very quiet place to have breakfast and chill during evening. Very happy I booked that hotel, would go back without hesitation. PS: do not enter the ZTL zone with car !

Roberto is quite a character - very exuberant and passionate. He & his wife are superb hosts. My room was clean & comfortable, the only small downside is that the air conditioning was only a fan....but at least it didn't dry out my eyes & nose! Breakfast is a great performance. Roberto & Vittoria serve you everything. Roberto comes around with a trolley full of yoghurts, pastries & cakes & insists you try them. Then out comes the meat & cheese on plates for the table all served with his inimitable flair! You will not go hungry The hotel is in a great position in Montepulciano with lots of shops & restaurants around. Yes, as others have said there are quite a lot of stairs in the property but if you are visiting a hilltop town like Montepulciano you must be prepared for stairs & steep inclines around the town anyway Would definitely recommend Hotel la Terrazza

A wonderful experience all around. Roberto and his wife are accomplished hosts. Our room was spotless, comfortable and gave us a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast was equally good with an assortment of pastries, meats, cheese, fruit and beverages both hot and cold. As a bonus the dogs are very friendly and well behaved and helpful to those who are traveling without their furry companions. Will try to get back here soon!

What an incredible experience! We absolutely adored our stay with Roberto and Vittoria. The hotel is so cosily decorated and Roberto and Vittoria give you true Italian family hospitality - you feel like part of the family and you’re given a great introduction to Montepulciano with a drive around with Roberto when you first arrive. Roberto and Vittoria were also so kind with our 9 month old baby, who utterly adored them. Vittoria’s breakfast cakes are divine too!!

Siamo tornati per la seconda volta in questa meravigliosa struttura nel centro di Montepulciano. L’albergatore e sua moglie sono due persone davvero squisite ed accoglienti. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. La struttura ha delle stanze in stile veneziano con arredi pregevoli ed è comodissima in quanto si trova in centro ed ha un parcheggio riservato. Ottima anche la colazione. Consigliatissimo!

Thank you Roberto and Vittoria for your warm hospitality. The hotel was in an old building so it’s not a modern hotel, don’t expect to get that kind of accommodation. But will get a comfy and charming stay in Montepulciano. It is easy to park nearby the hotel and it’s free. There are a lot of stairs so you will get in good shape as well when you go in and out. There are a lot of restaurants and wineries nearby. I would love to come back someday.

Like staying with family. Yes, the location is great, the breakfast is served on a tranquil terrace and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. What really sets the property apart is the warmth of the owners and their pride in their hotel. Most hotels you won’t recall in a few months, this hotel will remain a fond memory for years.

Roberto and Victoria are lovely! So nice, very helpful and breakfast was so nice out in the garden! Roberto can’t do enough for you! Hotel is up around the middle of the town, well located to go up or down and near everything! The room we had was old, crowded and bathroom very tiny, even hard for my husband to fit between the sink and wall to get to the toilet, it’s just that the property is old and not renovated so understandable but because I depend a lot on reviews, I’m telling it like it is. Shower didn’t drain well and there was a stench. No AC as far as we could tell and opening windows not an option due to noise in square at night - depend, depending upon what room you’re in. Also if going to Montepulciano make sure you have a car! Transportation is a nightmare, only a few taxis in town, train station is not close, 7-8kms away, buses run from Chiusi however only 1 on Sundays!
