Pinto-Storey Hotel

Good hotel, but a bit different. It’s like half a floor in a multi-storey building. It’s seemed clean enough but the lighting was a little bit dim and with small windows there was not a lot of natural light so together with the dark interior it seemed a little gloomy. The door to the room lets in a bit of noise from the hallway and the street noise noticeable. The AC is central so you can’t adjust the temperature by yourself and it’s only on when it’s above 20°c outside. The location however is excellent with a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and other stores nearby. The neighbourhood feels very safe.

Hôtel situé dans un quartier très agréable (nombreux immeubles Liberty, divers restaurants à proximité...) sans le désagrément des quartiers trop touristiques. Les Palazzo Reale, Teatro di San Carlo, Gallerie d'Italia, etc. sont faciles d'accès à pied, par un trajet agréable. Le métro est à moins de trois minutes de l'hôtel.

Interesting place! The building is an old art-deco building, and hotel itself feels like very retro! A bit like staying in a Wes Anderson film. Its in a good location (although its a bit hard to spot as the sign from the street is very small), near metro Line 6, and the Furnicular to Vomeo. Staff very friendly and helpful, room was comfy although the air-con did not work in our room. The windows did open however, and there wasn't street noise.

This is a character hotel. Well it is not really a hotel as it is on the fourth floor. Bathroom nice but bizarre. Furnishings in the room need renewal. Hot water was only warm
