First room no air condition was moved to another hotel for first night. Second room ok, dirty, air condition works only from 7am to midnight. Breakfast not good. Never coming back to this hotell even though the service was good.

Bra läge, nära många jättebra restauranger och järnvägsstationen. Okej toalett med bra dusch. Det som drar ner betyget helt är att AC stängs av på natten när man ska sova. Då måste man ha fönstret öppet, utanför är en liten men väldigt trafikerad gata även hela natten med sopbilar som kommer 02:00. Vi stannade 2 nätter, inför andra natten hade vi köpt en golvfläkt som vr nödvändig för att kunna sova med fönstret stängt.

Property is a 10min walk from the train station. Close to the metro. There are several restaurants as a laundry mat across the street. Short walk to the Colosseum and city center. The staff is great. My room was disappointing. The water never got hot, the fridge in the room doesn’t work. I only had one working plug in the room. My shower head also didn’t stay up. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the lack of hot water.

El alojamiento deja bastante que desear. En primer lugar nos dieron una habitación sin aire acondicionado, tras presentar queja nos cambiaron de habitación. Aunque limpian diariamente, el establecimiento necesita una reparación urgente, ya que los defectos no se pueden limpiar. No existe depósito de equipaje, sino que debes dejar las maletas junto a recepción, que tras finalizar los desayunos las introducen un poco hacia el comedor, pero hay movimiento de gente y el recepcionista desconoce la propiedad de las maletas. Durante el desayuno a otra clienta le sustrajeron un bolso que tenía sobre la silla . La zona y calles están bastante sucias.

Do NOT stay here. Rooms are very shabby, tv does not work and safe did not work. We changed room's but was worse NO safe tv still not working and the shower was broken and there was no hot water. Someone entered into our room late at night even though we had put lock on. The day receptionist was very unhelpful, and just shrugged his shoulders. Breakfast was just pastries and dry cereal. AVOID at all costs 😱

The location is really the selling point for this hotel, it is near the historical center of Rome and affordable. The staff was helpful, but the overall hotel experience did not match the description on their website. The first room we got (room 112) smelled very musty, was dirty, the drain in the bath was plugged up and the windows opened into a dark, damp little outdoors area between the buildings. The first night we woke up around 1.00 am to the sound of water pouring from the ceiling (air conditioner?). There was a power cut, so by the light of our mobile phones we put towels on the floor and the garbage can to catch the water. Since there are no stairs, and the elevator is dependent on electricity we went back to sleep to the sound of the other, more vocal, and angry guests. The next day we complained and this time got a more 'normal' room (room 203) with a window that opened to the street, and thankfully no smell of mold. But this time we got treated to cold showers as the hot water was only on part of the time. We didn't complain any more as we had not come to Rome to spend time in the hotel, but I can say that I am glad I did not come with small children as especially in the first room the air was very musty and it would not be healthy to sleep very long in such a room.

Absolute dump! The room wasn't just old and run down, the smell of mould was overwhelming. Hair on the bed, stains on the headboard that looked suspiciously like bodily fluids. Chipped furniture. Rock hard matresses and smelly blankets. Again, worst part was the mould that set off my asthma and allergies immediately. If 0 star was an option, i would still want more numbers on the negative side.Run, don't walk, as far away from this place as humanly possible. Better off sleeping in the train station.

Close to everything, walkable to all the sights. The building is easy to find, presentable, my room on the third floor was small but perfect for me, lovely high ceilings and a nice view. However, it was very dusty, there was dust everywhere and the shower was very mouldy, and I don’t mean just a bit, but quite a lot. Would I stay there again? No, shame because in a really good spot. P.s. the restaurant across the street, Gallo Matto was really good, the sauce was sensational!

I left an average review only because the staff was very friendly and helpful, otherwise this hotel was not clean at all and nothing was working, no hot water moved rooms around couple times because of bad conditions, bad smell, breakfast only served couple sweet cakes and coffee. Anyway, thanks to the staff who tried their best to make us feel comfortable!

The hotel is in a very nice location, near to all the cites and museums. Near to to train and buses. The bathroom was a small and my room was next ot the elevator which was very noisy. Also the room had a portable air condition and that was noisy and i didnt use it at all

Perfect location to explore all Rome's attractions on foot. However, as the manager Simone, put it: you pay for the location and nothing else. We are usually happy with very little. This time there was too much going on to look the other way. First of all, when we arrived, we were told to go to another "sister" hotel owned by the same group. No reason was given. And we were told to come back the next day. We were no charged more and we were not given any discount either. Just the first night in another hotel. When we came back the next day, still no explanation was given. The hotel walls and doors are paper thin: you can basically hear other guests breathing in neighbouring rooms. At first look the room looks nice and renovated but if you take a closer look, you see that there are bits and pieces all over the place. There was an electricity blackout in our room, never happened in any other hotel before. During our stay there was a knock on the door. Some guy was doing "security checks" in the rooms. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and I have never experienced this before. And as a cherry on the top: our key card malfunctioned every day and it had to be reprogrammed all over again at the reception. Nevertheless the breakfast was nice even if it was very basic.

A light fitting was damaged, there was a hole in the back of the bathroom door, there were no in room facilities (tea or coffee making facilities, glasses), the air-conditioning didn't work and the shower screen was broken. We paid $A790.00 (~€480.00) for 3 nights and certainly didn't receive value for money. On the plus side, the Hotel was certainly conveniently located within easy walking distance of some of the major tourist attractions and public transport (buses and Metro) and there were lots of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores closely adjacent. But if we ever returned to Rome, we would not stay at the Hotel Valle.
A light fitting was damaged, there was a hole in the back of the bathroom door, there were no in room facilities (tea or coffee making facilities, glasses), the air-conditioning didn't work and the shower screen was broken. We paid $A790.00 (~€480.00) for 3 nights and certainly didn't receive value for money. On the plus side, the Hotel was certainly conveniently located within easy walking distance of some of the major tourist attractions and public transport (buses and Metro) and there were lots of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores closely adjacent. But if we ever returned to Rome, we would not stay at the Hotel Valle.

Besides the cleaning staff, front desk and other staff I interacted with were somewhat rude. The air conditioning they advertise gets turned off for the building every night at the same time and doesn’t turn back on till the morning. There were two electricity outages during my 5 night stay. Upon check-in I was told during check-out that I would have to pay the city tax which was fine. When I went to do so during checkout I was not informed that they only took cash. On top of all things, my room shared a wall with the elevator and due to its squeaking and hard stops, I was able to hear every time it was used. The hotel is also directly above a subway station so the whole building would shake every single day several times a day. I would not recommend staying here unless you can’t possibly find anywhere else to stay.

We arrived early to check in, we only asked if we could put our bags in holding, being as we arrived in Rome at 10am and check in wasn't till 2pm. Nice, friendly on reception they said let us check if your room was ready! We were so supprised, they let us go in our room! Which was amazing, seen as we had been traveling all night. Knowing we could now freshen up also before we went to explore the beautiful city of Rome. 2 nights spent there, so on the second morning. As you have breakfast included. We left at 4am (breakfast doesn't start till 7.30am) to catch our next flight, we were able to take a few croissants with us which was another nice little touch! For what we paid, were very happy. Thankyou!

I left an average review only because the staff was very friendly and helpful, otherwise this hotel was not clean at all and nothing was working, no hot water moved rooms around couple times because of bad conditions, bad smell, breakfast only served couple sweet cakes and coffee. Anyway, thanks to the staff who tried their best to make us feel comfortable!

Nuestra reservación estaba pagada, al llegar dijeron.. tenemos un piso inundado, no hay habitaciones después dijeron tenemos un hotel cerca de nosotros mismos y los vamos a poder acomodar ahí y era una mentira porque no era ni hotel era la casa de un señor que renta unas habitaciones tipo pocilga y lo que creemos es de que lo que hacen es un negocio entre los de la recepción y este señor nos hicieron perder dos horas y al final lo que nos dimos cuenta es de que estaban mintiéndonos no recomiendo este hotel para nadie. Por fortuna pudimos localizar otro hotel y hoteles.com nos hizo el reembolso de esta habitación pero fue una pésima experiencia

The location is excellent. You can't get much closer to all the attractions. The staff was also excellent! I loved the breakfast in the morning. My only issue was the condition of the room. Could use updating and had some stains that were a little gross.

It is good for what we needed it for. We had a nice room, wardrobe with hangers and an en suite bathroom. Weirdly the shower didn’t have a door or curtain and stank of cigarettes so those were negatives. The breakfast was pastries, cereal and sometimes fruit and coffee was in a kettle or made to order. We couldn’t moan it was included and nice although sometimes a bit stale. It was perfect for what we needed it for and we got a good price. Very central as well. Would stay again.

No era la habitación familiar con dos estancias que vi en las fotos y pensé que había reservado. Era una habitación pequeña con apenas luz y una lámpara no funcionaba, la tv no se mantenía de pie. La puerta del baño estaba rota pero nos apañamos. El desayuno no era muy variado pero aceptable. En general calidad precio aceptable pero deberían arreglar algunas cosillas en las habitaciones.

I stayed here with my sister and two sons. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels and had a fridge and hairdryer. We had two rooms joined, each with bathroom and shower. It was very clean and shower had amazing pressure. Rooms had air con which switched off from about midnight until 7am. We did take portable, plug in fan with us, so it was fine. An elevator to get upstairs which was great as i am disabled. Breakfast was basic sweet pastries, coffee, cornflakes and fruit juice. We were able to ask for cups of tea and espresso, which can be made fresh for you, as well as other drinks. Location is excellant. Four minute walk to Cavour Metro station. 10 mins walk to termini. Plenty of bus stops for connecting. On the tram route. Plenty of small shops on road, a supermarket style shop just around the corner. Surrounded by plenty restaurants and a water fountain opposite. We had fresh towels and beds made every day. Its a typical charming hotel. Its not the ritz but gives you everything you need. Staff can not be faulted. They were so helpful and friendly, and funny. Really enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave

the Hotel was great and the staff was very helpful. We did not know that you had to put the hotel card in the wall to make the lights and air conditioning work. The front desk staff came up to our room and showed us what we needed to do. He also gave us tips on near by restaurants and things to do off the beaten path. The also upgraded us to (2) rooms instead of 1 room for the 4 of us and it was the best thing ever. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for two nights which was just about okay. The room was very dated and was well below the standard expected from the photos on the advert. The location was handy for several of the main attractions. There was no door or curtain on the shower which flooded the floor of the bathroom and the toilet was poorly fitted. Breakfast was included but consisted of some bread products such as croissants a lack of cups and glasses for drinks, the coffee was cold and the fruit juice not refilled once it was gone. The tables were crammed in and in the side of the reception. On the plus side the bed was comfy and the air con was really good. I would suggest you can do a lot better for the money
