A very nice stay in Alessandrino. The staff is supernice and helpfull. Loved our room with a terrasse. Rooftop terrasse is also great with the view. Nice room and big bathroom . Short walk to resturants, shops , the Vatican, Trastevere. Even walking distanse to Trevi fountain and Spanish stairs. This was all perfect stay.

Op 10 minuten lopen van het Vaticaan. Mooi dakterras met uitzicht over Rome. Kamer is standaard. Eind oktober was er geen ontbijtservice beschikbaar.

Was comfortable. AC works great, much needed in July when we visited. The area up on the hill was somewhat remote. There weren't alot of restaurants in the area. There is a small conveniece store a few blocks down the hill, so if you need anything. There was no parking at the hotel, unless you have a motorcycle. The street was jambed full with cars and we had to take our chances parking in front of a gate that belonged to the city and looked like it wasn't being used. But to be fair, we experienced similar parking conditions in other urban areas in Italy. Otherwise the hotel was good, with an attendant at the front desk. We stayed 2 nights and they replenished our towels as we asked.

Kein Frühstück, Parkmöglichkei - so gut wie keine. Weshalb musste man bei der Abreise noch € 6,0 pro Person und pro Nacht bezahlen?Sehr ungewöhnlich.

Zero customer care or service Very outdated hotel Shower was horrendous, small, broken, too low wouldn't stay in a position to actually shower, a random switch above the shower which apparently was an alarm? Maids didn't actually clean the room other than replace the towels and make the bed No info about any breakfast or drinks Bed was comfy which was the best thing Nice terrace but run by mosquitos Randomly have to key your key in every time you leave the hotel

Hyggeligt lille hotel i kort gåafstand til Vatikanet. Venligt personale, dejligt fredeligt om natten. Der serveres ikke morgenmad på hotellet, men få meter nede af vejen er der en hyggelig lille café/bar, der serverer morgenmad. Der er tillige køleskab på værelset, så man kan have lidt selv. Fantastisk tagterrasse på 5. sal med stole, borde og liggestole og med en fantastisk udsigt over Rom (incl. kuplen på Peterskirken). Der er også en terrasse med adgang via trappe fra gården. Man kan selv medbringe drikkevarer m.m. på terrassen, der er flere indkøbsmuligheder i nærheden. Der er også mulighed for at købe et mindre udvalg af snacks og drikkevarer i automat på hotellet. Vi kommer gerne igen :-)

Hyggeligt hotel. God beliggenhed. Venligt personale og en meget høj rengørings standard. Det eneste negative der kan siges er at værelset/hotellet er lidt slidt. Der var et problem med bruseren men det blev håndteret med det samme. Stedet kan anbefales og vi vil gerne komme tilbage

There were ants on the bathroom floor and we couldn’t get restful sleep because we found bugs in the sheets. When we went to check out, the front desk person was snoring in a nearby room and only woke up after we called the front desk, which caused us to almost miss our train. The property was nice, but there are better options for a similar price.

This location is decent but requires a 12-minute walk, mostly uphill, which may be challenging for some. We have had a pleasant stay at hotel Alessandrino. It was nicely priced for a hotel in Rome. The room was clean, which is for us one of the most important things. The hotel staff was nice, relaxted and helpfull. Our room was small but it was ok for city trip. Bathroom could use a upgrade, rainshower was not ok anymore, but normal showerhead worked fine. Downside of our room was mainly the noice from washing machines, cleaning and reception at all possible hours. The wall do not isolate any sound. Location wise it is not typically in the most exiting area. It is great for going to the vatican, but little bit more far to other large attractions. It is walkable to center but expect times of 45minutes. Otherwise take a bus (8min walk) or other means of transport. I think for what you pay you get a fair room.

Don’t do it! This overpriced ‘hotel’ is more like a hostel… in fact, a hostel would be better. The aircon doesn’t work. The showerhead doesn’t work and the setting can’t be changed because it’s broken. The sheets and towels have holes all through them. The rooms are seriously noisy from other guests. The location is sketchy.

Hotel is very old and need renovations … you can see mold on the ceiling . Noise isolation is very poor , all furniture old and useless , room very small and have no even bed table for second person , shower is old , fan of ventilation very loud , there is nothing what can you remember about service and comfort. Hotel located up on the hill , all shops and restaurants are down hill , absolutely not worth 120$ + turist tax . Think twice before reservation.

Overall, it was excellent for the price. The air conditioning didn't work as well. So it was a little hot in the room. It was still good value.

We loved the property and our room. The room had a heating system but no AC, but given the time of the year it was perfect. We had the windows open most of the night to let the room cool down. The hotel had an easy walk to the bus stop and train. The staff was nice and friendly. Would def stay there again.

The hotel itself was good for a single room and the price paid. Only downside is the hotel is situated on a slight hill but about 5-10min walk depending on pace there is public transport available, bus and train which go to various places. Bus ticket is only €1,50 and is valid for 100minutes. Strongly recommend using the train station to and from the airport as its only about €9, depending on age and amount of travellers, compared to €50 for a taxi. The staff are helpful so just ask at the reception what you want to know. Grazie Hotel Alessandrino!

There were ants on the bathroom floor and we couldn’t get restful sleep because we found bugs in the sheets. When we went to check out, the front desk person was snoring in a nearby room and only woke up after we called the front desk, which caused us to almost miss our train. The property was nice, but there are better options for a similar price.

Een goeie douche en goed bed. Goede handdoeken. Badkamer goed schoon maar voorts geen echte luxe. Verlichting zeer matig ( soort TL) een schemerlampje tussen de bedden zonder stekker, dus defect. Maar er is op die plek ook geen stopcontact voor. (kamer 304). Locatie zeer handig. Het vaticaan is op loopafstand. Prijs/ kwaliteit (150 euro p.n.) niet echt in balans. Wordt vooral door de locatie bepaald, denk ik.

Hôtel traditionnel situé dans un quartier calme à 10 mn des bus et de la gare San Pietro avec accès facile à l'aéroport. Grande chambre bien chauffée (en janvier), bon accueil, ménage quotidien. 20 mn à pied de la basilique Saint Pierre. Mais ça grimpe pour arriver à l'hôtel !

The hotel itself was good for a single room and the price paid. Only downside is the hotel is situated on a slight hill but about 5-10min walk depending on pace there is public transport available, bus and train which go to various places. Bus ticket is only €1,50 and is valid for 100minutes. Strongly recommend using the train station to and from the airport as its only about €9, depending on age and amount of travellers, compared to €50 for a taxi. Hyggeligt lille hotel i kort gåafstand til Vatikanet. Venligt personale, dejligt fredeligt om natten. Der serveres ikke morgenmad på hotellet, men få meter nede af vejen er der en hyggelig lille café/bar, der serverer morgenmad. Der er tillige køleskab på værelset, så man kan have lidt selv. Fantastisk tagterrasse på 5. sal med stole, borde og liggestole og med en fantastisk udsigt over Rom (incl. kuplen på Peterskirken). Der er også en terrasse med adgang via trappe fra gården. Man kan selv medbringe drikkevarer m.m. på terrassen, der er flere indkøbsmuligheder i nærheden. Der er også mulighed for at købe et mindre udvalg af snacks og drikkevarer i automat på hotellet. Vi kommer gerne igen :-)

The hotel was nice in a good area. The hotel needs some TLC like updating the bathroomsmake the showers bigger. We had a belcone that was nice but no unbrella so we could only go out early in the morning or after the sun went down. They have a nice area to have abreakfest but they do not offer one they havewe a vending machine that takes away from the hotel makes it look cheep. I would also like to see in the evening they over a bar and finger foods that is what my father inlaw does at his hotel and I have seen it at others.

Location: Being 10 minutes away from St. Peters Bascilica makes the hotel a possible choice for anyone wanting to visit Vatican City. Room: - over all was spacious but felt a bit 'off' with the furniture layout - electrical outlets are too few, low to the floor and hidden behind furniture making it difficult to plug in device chargers - bed was comfortable but firmer than some might like and was made up daily to make an army drill instructor proud - pillows (all 4) on the bed were all pretty firm and fairly thick, anyone requiring a spongy or thin pillow needs to bring their own - Towels were changed daily - bathroom was cramped and the Bidet partially blocked the shower entrance - shower door was on the wrong side making it harder to get past the Bidet to get into the shower - shower had a mounted hand-held head that was not adjustable except for height and then sprayed out horizontally. For those who like the hand-held this might work, for those who like to stand under a shower coming mostly down it's a DRAG. - bathroom overall kept getting a light sewer smell over the course of the day so we had to keep the windows and bathroom door open as much as possible to let out the smell
