Good hotel that had the basics I needed for my stay. The airport shuttle was very convenient. When I arrived at the front desk, there was a long line to check in. Staff was friendly, but service was a little slow. The same was true at the on-site restaurant for dinner. The gym is limited—one small room with a few treadmills and another slightly larger room with elliptical machines, dumbbells, and older weight machines.

Quick night stay after getting back from a hunting trip. They stored some luggage for me in the safe room. They have a freezer to put fish and game in during the stay. The Sweet & Sour Halibut meal was excellent in the restaurant!

If you're looking for a hotel with an Alaskan feel, this is the place. I was only overnighting here as I had an early flight in the morning. The airport shuttle is very convenient, however in the morning it leaves every hour, on the hour (ie: 3am, 4am, 5am,...). I had to take the 4am as the 5am was cutting it too close for my departure. As a result, I had to get up earlier, with less sleep, and have a longer wait at the airport. Just a minor complaint. Most hotels in the area run every 20 minutes, which would have been nice. Overall, I would recommend. Definitely one of the nicer hotels near the airport.

Check in was awful. Room wasn’t ready 2 hours after check in time of 3:00pm. Friends we were travelling with could only get their room at 9:00pm! Cleanliness was gross! Toenail on carpet in lobby for 2 days; hair from prior guests on bath. Housekeeping is obviously a major issue and I was told they are short staffed, including just one person at reception at time of checkout this morning.

There were cobwebs in the corners, fruit chews and other dirt on the floor where you could tell it had not been vacuumed. Tried to do dinner at the restaurant, called ahead of turn to confirm when they stopped serving. Got there an hour before cutoff. Tried to order 3 different things on the menu and they did not have any of them. Settled on a soda, lemonade. Margarita and app. Never got the margarita and had to ask for the coke and lemonade twice.

The bathroom was very clean but the headboard on the bed had dirty sticky handprints all over it. The 4th floor feels very dirty. The bed cover was coated in dog hair as well.

My room was dirty. It was years of grime build up. I opened the door to my room and there were liquid drips on the wall like coffee or other things around the light switch so walls and things aren’t getting wiped down at all. I had to switch rooms. The carpets were really dirty in the halls. The cleaning lady said they only have so much time per room but I’ve stayed in much less expensive hotels that were way cleaner. The only really clean place is the lobby. Very worn down rooms. Looked like someone took birdshot to the blackout curtains they were so old. Had trouble checking in and checking out. The computers kept “glitching “ and it took her 15 minutes and a computer switch to print a receipt. I would never stay here again.

Staff was great. Hotel looks warn. Carpets look like they haven’t been vacuumed in a week. Looking out at the pond is nice but if you get a room facing the parking lot and street it’s not so nice. Decent but not great overall.

Check in was very easy and fast. She did give us a partial view, but when we got to the room it was a view of another building. The room was clean. The hotel had nice decor. The hallways were very long, so if are older or have inability to walk long distances, I would ask for a room closer to the lobby. The hallways were short, my husband is 6’4” and he had to duck in some spots. Walking around the property and watching the plans take off was a treat!

We requested a room with a view. When we arrived, we were told there were none available. My wife has a problem walking due to a recent knee injury. We requested a quieter room because ours was noisy, it was right over the parking lot. The desk clerk gave us a room at the other end of the building. A long walk from the elevator.

Mostly 4 star but if I have one critique it’s the heat. Room was very warm. Units hav ac but they are loud and I’m a light sleeper so I can’t run the ac at night and the room just heats up very quickly. Your heat in the hotel is way too warm. The temperature on the clock in the lobby said 80 degrees when I checked in.

I liked the hotel and the restaurant was very nice. My biggest complaint was the wait time to get checked in. The line moved very slow. Otherwise, everything was good.

Was very cool location next to the seaplane port. Was woefully understaffed, shuttle took 1.5 hrs to pick us up, room check-in too almost 2 hrs, then did not get room we reserved, but a downgrade, never got room service or bucket of beer we paid for. Had to speak to a manager to get anyone to acknowledge any problems, but still did not get any resolutions. Would not recommend this hotel.

This should not be a milleneum property. it is not up to par. The staff are surly and rude, the floors throughout the property were disgusting. Our room was clean and nice, but the second you left your room, really bad shape. Window air conditioners in each room, which also does not seem par for a Milleneum. Mostly the staff is what killed it for us. So, so bad. For an area so reliant on tourism, some level of effort should be made to at least smile at your guests. Instead we were greeted the second we walked in the door to check in with a front desk agent glaring at us, then saying "its going to be a minute", then about 30 seconds later saying "it's going to be a lot more than a minute" (there was noone ahead of us). When she finally decided to help us, about 5-10 minutes later, while we just stood there waiting, she was cranky and short with us. It went downhill from there, sadly. The float plane landing field was amazing though, so that part was good.

Close to the airport with a beautiful view, but trying to reach the staff when we arrived at midnight was horrible. The front desk didnt answer the phone leaving us stranded when we had planned to use the shuttle. We paid for $45.00 for 2 UBER

I booked third party for three nights. Third party only booked me for two. I had to book a third night. Check out after my second night and and check back in. The guy behind the counter was rude to me and not helpful. Then gave my room to someone else while I was in my room another couple unlocked my door and walked in. Then the same gentleman call my room and demanded me downstairs as if this was my fault. He was extremely rude with me and never apologized for his mistake. Zero customer service. He didn't even pretend that I was a guest who spent three nights there and only eating at their restaurants. Good thing for me is there are lots of other hotels to choose from. I work in Alaska so I use anchorage hotels once month. Bye bye

Good hotel that had the basics I needed for my stay. The airport shuttle was very convenient. When I arrived at the front desk, there was a long line to check in. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The rooms were nice with comfortable beds. The food in the restaurants was excellent. And the staff, the staff Was so accommodating. Everything a visitor would hope for and more. Thank you to the staff of the Lakefront for being sowarm and friendly and helpful. You sure set the bar high for other places to live up to.

This hotel is pretty rundown. Definitely needs some updating. Grounds were not well maintained. Carpets need to be cleaned in the hallways. They were in the process of replacing some wallpaper and there was a terrible chemical smell. The neighborhood is not great either. There’s a marijuana dispensary directly across the street, a park just up the street that seems to be filled with homeless/people that appear to be under the influence.

The Lakefront Anchorage is a beautiful hotel on Lake Hood in an area unfortunately rife with homeless and abandoned hotels with squatters. There have been fires recently in the latter hotels. Better to stay downtown..

It's an older property that, in its day, I would imagine was 5-star. That being said, the rooms are a little dated and the surrounding neighborhood isn't the best. I love that they offer shuttle transport to downtown and the airport - that was very convenient. Dining on the patio area is pleasant, too.

Very dated and not in great condition. Refrigerator was broken and toilet didn’t flush well. Bathtub drain was clogged but they serviced it when we asked. The restaurants pad good food and nice servers but was very slow. VERY slow. Need 90 minutes for breakfast three mornings and was told they didn’t have enjoy help. Great location tho with the airport nearby and the boat planes taking off. Overall it was extremely over priced. Five star cost, two star accommodations.

There were cobwebs in the corners, fruit chews and other dirt on the floor where you could tell it had not been vacuumed. Tried to do dinner at the restaurant, called ahead of turn to confirm when they stopped serving. Got there an hour before cutoff. Tried to order 3 different things on the menu and they did not have any of them. Settled on a soda, lemonade. Margarita and app. Never got the margarita and had to ask for the coke and lemonade twice.

This was, by far, the worst experience that have had with accommodations in a very long time. It’s obvious that there is NO management on-site. 1. The place is shabby at best. We paid over $800 for one night. We understand supply and demand but this was beyond horrible. We need to 2. It was HOT and the AC didn’t work. Called front desk…was told that maintenance would be right up. No one ever showed. We opened the only window. Listened to street and airport noise all night. 3. This morning we paid $50 to have a late check out. 4. 90 minutes before we needed to leave for the airport went down stairs to grab a quick meal….sat for 30min before we were given a menu…ordered right away. Wings, cheeseburger, onion rings…30 min later waitress came to say that they were out of onion rings. Asked her to cancel them and bring us the rest of the order. 15 min later our food showed up. Choked down the food…waited and waited for our waitress to ask for check. She was nowhere in sight. At that point we were LATE for our flight checkin. We gave up on getting a check. Ran up to pick up our bags. Ordered Uber as, based on hotel services to that point, we couldn’t trust the hotels airport shuttle to get us there in time. Stopped at front desk to tell them that we had an open check in their restaurant. Asked that they put it on our hotel tab. They insisted that I go to the restaurant to pay. RECOMMEND NEVER STAYING HERE.

This hotel is definitely a place to try and avoid property is completely dirty and filthy carpet is stained and gross , walked into my room only to find it very dirty and my sheets had hairs and stains on them as does the ac unit and the wall . Went down stairs to try and to get a refund upon checking out I showed the lady at the desk photos of the condition but after seeing how dirty the room and hotel was I demanded a refund . I called hotels.com for a refund but the hotel denied it and said this never happened
