Not exactly a resort in early winter. More like a big apartment complex. Restaurant was closed and very few people on the property. Buildings are old could use some updating, but the apartment (not a room or even a suite) was clean and included a full kitchen and living room. Good for people who want option of making meals in the room with plenty of space to relax between adventures. The wildlife refuge connected to the property was great for outdoor walking, even in the snow.

The kitchen came with utensils, plates cups and glasses. The coffemaker and coffee were great. There is a full refrigerator, stove and microwave. Great for cooking your own meals

Had a great stay here. Room was very spacious and comfortable, staff was friendly and shuttle was on time and easy to book. The rooms are a little outdated but everything worked and it was very convenient to have the kitchen.

The rooms were actually suites that were quite comfortable. We especially liked the large closet that enabled us to unpack fully. The biggest downside was that the resort has no restaurant during the winter, so you either have walk a couple of miles in the cold or Uber for meals.

Room is incredibly stale and 20+ years outdated. Beds were basically display beds from a store, bedding was crazy old and smelled funky, entire room was had a bad smell almost stale like an old smoking room. The redeeming qualities were the trails, the museum, and the shuttle.

Wonderful location to walk Wander Lake, the Auto Museum and Creamer\'s Field. The "suite" was a small apartment. It was really comfortable for a week\'s stay.

Very large and spacious rooms. It was overall well maintained and kept clean. Two bedrooms, a large living room, a separate kitchen with limited utensils. It was a furnished apartment style. Worth the pay and stay. It was 5-7 minutes drive to downtown and we were glad we picked this one over the regular hotels. Costco, Walmart everything within reach. They didn’t have an onsite breakfast and restaurant due to winter season. But, all restaurants, grocery stores and miscellaneous activities were within driving distance. The front desk staff was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in making our short travel within Fairbanks a pleasant experience. They provided great recommendations on local restaurants, where to go to see the northern lights, and places of interest. Being first time visitors, we blindly followed their recommendations and it sure it meet our expectations. May be we didn’t get the right room during our stay and the only concern we had was people walking way too often in the room above ours. Kept us wondering what possibly were they doing walking entire evening until late night. The hotel staff said they can’t swap the room because we booked through hotel.com.

I really enjoyed there. I met a squirrel on the pathway snow covered. I visited the car museum and it was very interesting. I was satisfied that I could cook in my room.

We were disappointed with this property. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. We had to put our pillows on the foot of the bed and sleep backwards because otherwise it felt like we were sleeping downhill. The living room furniture was worn and you could feel the bed frame in the sleeper sofa through the cushions when you sat on it. If the resort would take time to upgrade the furniture this would be a nice place to stay. Location was good. It was clean, and we felt safe.

The Wedgwood Resort maintains a good standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Rooms and common areas were generally well-kept, and housekeeping was attentive to requests. While there’s still a little room for improvement in attention to detail, overall the resort provides a comfortable and clean environment for guests.

The hotel is more like an apartments which we appreciated as we had 5 people in our party. In a regular basis a luxury or basic hotels are fine as we don’t spend much time but to sleep but Instead of being crammed into a luxury hotel or parties being separate by rooms this worked out as we spent most of the time here in Jan as it’s dark out and cold. Every staff encounter was nice and friendly, the rooms were outdated but it was clean. Only thing that I would complain about was the loud water or faucet sound from other rooms.

The suites are dated but comfy; so-called queen bed more like a double or full size. Heat was difficult to control; radiator hot in living room but stone cold in bedroom. Curtains on sliding doors falling off rolling units. Needs some refurbishing, especially for the price paid,

Everything was clean but it really smelled like cigarette smoke and I sure wished they would have put us in a different room. The staff was excellent and sweet, but dang it was disappointing about the smell in the room.

In a regular basis a luxury or basic hotels are fine as we don’t spend much time but to sleep but Instead of being crammed into a luxury hotel or parties being separate by rooms this worked out as we spent most of the time here in Jan as it’s dark out and cold. Every staff encounter was nice and friendly, the rooms were outdated but it was clean. Only thing that I would complain about was the loud water or faucet sound from other rooms.

Very large and spacious rooms. It was overall well maintained and kept clean. Two bedrooms, a large living room, a separate kitchen with limited utensils. It was a furnished apartment style. Worth the pay and stay. It was 5-7 minutes drive to downtown and we were glad we picked this one over the regular hotels. Costco, Walmart everything within reach. They didn’t have an onsite breakfast and restaurant due to winter season. But, all restaurants, grocery stores and miscellaneous activities were within driving distance. They provided great recommendations on local restaurants, where to go to see the northern lights, and places of interest. Everything was clean but it really smelled like cigarette smoke and I sure wished they would have put us in a different room. The staff was excellent and sweet, but dang it was disappointing about the smell in the room.

Not exactly a resort in early winter. More like a big apartment complex. Restaurant was closed and very few people on the property. Buildings are old could use some updating, but the apartment (not a room or even a suite) was clean and included a full kitchen and living room. Good for people who want option of making meals in the room with plenty of space to relax between adventures. The wildlife refuge connected to the property was great for outdoor walking, even in the snow.

I liked that it was close to creamer field…a short walk to there and some hiking trails…the furniture was outdated…the mattress needed to be replaced. It wasn’t anything spectacular but i didn’t stay inside for long anyway. Definitely need a car to get around if staying at this condo.

The rooms were actually suites that were quite comfortable. We especially liked the large closet that enabled us to unpack fully. The biggest downside was that the resort has no restaurant during the winter, so you either have walk a couple of miles in the cold or Uber for meals.

Terribly uncomfortable bed, hard as a rock, was up all night. Couldn’t breathe through my nose either because it was so musty and mildewed. Room just felt old and wiped clean, but not actually clean. Couldn’t get thermostat to work, very cold. I left after one night it was so bad. Go somewhere else.

This place was built as an apartment complex and was later converted to a “resort” hotel. Imagine if Knight’s Inn built a resort. That aside, the price was good and the rooms are huge. Not much in the way of amenities, honestly, but a clean, decent place to stay. The location is quite nice.
